- The Mills Brothers from 1943 sing a tune (that oddly enough they never recorded) from 1929 called "How Am I To Know" written by Jack King & Dorothy Parker. Special "Thank You" to the great Rev. Philip Beauchamp. Please visit Phil's webpage dealing with "Black Quartets In Film" for a load of great information and rare recordings of groups like The Mills Brothers from motion pictures. www.vocalgroupharmony.com/BQI...
people need to freaking to make music like this & I'm dying to get interviewed some random person so I can express how I feel about old music listening to old music from the 1878s to 1920s 1930s 1948s The Mills Brothers is something to really be look at as one of the best old musical group

This sounds good, imma search for their music
There's a lot of it! They have over 50 years of recordings! Legendary group.
We notice that Donald was very jovial on this video, more than Harry, a rare thing because often it was Harry the most jovial. Thank you Austin Casey for this unpublished video of this fabulous group. It's always an event for me to discover an unpublished video of the Mills Brothers! A masterpiece of history. If you can publied more of video of The Mills Brothers, that so cool.
Absolutely! It was a nice surprise to see and hear Donald like this. We normally think of him as the ballad singer but that break he does before his solo is pretty swingin! Glad you enjoyed it too.
A throwback to the more energetic 1930's; shame that they didn't record this.

From the film "He's My Guy" (1943); the boys sound more like their rivals/label mates the Ink Spots. Apparently, they didn't record this tune.
I would do anything to have the honor to shake the fellow black male gentleman's hand, lol but I have to be dead for that to happen oh well I'm 20 years old so I got time😄 Edit: lol I'm 21 & half
