In relation to Made in Manhattan, there’s actually a Hallmark movie, Best Christmas Party Ever, where the main character is a party planner who thinks she’s getting the boss’s job but her boss assigns her to mentor her nephew (who has never planned a party) for the job instead. Obviously they butt heads on their ideas but then cheesily fall in love.

Wedding question: do shoes really matter if you have floor length dress? Cos to me - comfort on my big day is key so I’m always interested to see what others say. (I’m still totally wearing combo of flip flops & vans for the day) I’m a super laid back gal so it’s also kinda my personality but a lot of people invest in pretty heels etc….and I always wonder why if your dress covers your feet?
honestly my feet showed more than i had anticipated. i'd say get a pretty & cheap pair for the ceremony/pics and then wear something comfy for your reception. my shoes were flat tho cause comfort & haden isn't tall so i didn't need to match his height haha

24:41 - To me... if it has someone essentially telling them that they should be grateful their trauma wasn't worse as if trauma isn't still trauma either way..then, in my personal opinion, it's likely not great representation. (I mean .. it doesn't really even matter if something bad could have been worse or not, "it could have been worse" doesn't make it any better of a thing to have gone through or to have to try and live with afterward.) Buut maybe that's just me. 😅 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I didn’t like the Bridgerton book series either. I read the first three books and they were all boring to me. The show however is fantastic and makes the stories so much more interesting.
Okay so weighing in on Tessa Dare... I love Girl Meets Duke #2, the kids stuff and Alexandra as a character and the Duke are amazing, only problem is that the sex scene sucks. Like, very disappointing at the very end. Emma & Ash were much hotter.
