Chan's monthly reading has me gaslight, gatekeep, girlbossing myself as I too, wish to spend more money on books, read 52 books and dislike the majority of them + self-love is about high standards
I will never not be amazed by how many books you read!! And honestly it makes that with so many, the # of dubs would be pretty high as well -- just kinda funny they all ended up in this wrap up 😂 Also, happy channel anniversary! I'm really glad I discovered your channel late last year, as it was one of the big reasons I felt compelled to read again, and moreso romance, a genre I barely tried before. Can't wait to see what the future will bring!
52 books in a month is literally INSANE lmao. also, not sure if you’ve read or been recced this, but breaking character by lee winter is my favorite sapphic romance novel i’ve read (…. and i’ve read a LOT in search of one as good at it lol)
Omg what a mood! I’m on book 9 so maybe I will be able to say I read 9 books this month by the end of the day, but then again I’m here on Chandler’s video 😂
Congratulations on your four year youtube anniversary!! I've been here awhile (though I've only started commenting recently 🙈) and I'm liking your content more and more every month. I can really see your growth in video making and creativity & it really seems like you're making content you're enjoying! Hope it feels that way for you as well 😊 Thank you for making videos and brightening my weeks 💕
Congratulations for your 4 year anniversary 👏 ❤. You were my first book UA-camr who I started following. Always Loved ur thoughts about books and ur recommendations. 4 down more to go...
Woww congrats for the amazing reading month (This is probably close to the amount of books that I’ll be able to read during the year hahahhaa) This video was such a delight, 42 min of prime content!
Did I log in to my google account just because I wanted to comment this? Absolutely! I wanted to let you know how much I adore your channel - genuinely, you are my favorite booktuber largely because of your honesty and in depth reviews. Your reasons for disliking books or rating them as you do are always well reasoned and mature (which is sometimes hard to find on booktube in the romance genre) and I just love listening to what you have to say :)
The wedding crashers, apparently it's not unheard of that men won't get promoted without a family. Statistically women are less likely to get promoted if they have a husband and/or children, whilst men are more likely to get one
the fact that A Letter to Three Witches shares a premise with a literal Academy Award-winning film (A Letter to Three Wives, real creative) is just astonishing and by astonishing I mean not at all
Congratulations to 4 years on UA-cam! You‘re my absolute favorite booktuber and I‘m so happy you made this channel and created this community. Lots of love!
Why is your voice and diction the best and also my favorite? I dont know but I barely read romance and you're still one of my comfort channels, thanks for doing your thing.
Re: Sizzle Paradox question - PhDs are usually funded. You don’t make a lot of money, but they pay you just enough to live off of in exchange for TAing classes and doing research. You don’t pay to attend (unless your program sucks).
Katee Robert isn’t really for me either. The only book that actually did like is Electric Idol, but because of the individual characters. I did read Wicked Beauty and it was fine.
Love these videos and love putting what I read in the month like I have my own channel 😁 1) Drowning Erin (by Elizabeth O'Roark 4 stars) 2) All the Feels by Olivia Dade (2 stars) 3) Waking Olivia by Elizabeth O'Roark 4) Wound Tight by Tessa Bailey (5 stars) 5) Running Elk by Elizabeth Anne Porter (DNF) 6) The Guy in the Middle by Kate Stewart (DNF) 7) Tear me Apart by J.T. Ellison (2 stars)' 8) The Governess Game by Tessa Dare (3 stars) 9) As Good as Dead by Holly Jackson (2 stars) 10) Accidenetly Engaged by Farah Heron (4 stars) 11) The Dead Girls Club by Damien Angelica Walters (2 stars) 12) The Pirate Bride by Kathleen Y'Barbo 13) Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers (4 stars) 14) Toyko Dreaming by Emiko Jean (3 stars) 15) Twisted Lies by Ana Huang (3 stars) 16) Reign XXX Milton Book 2 by Lydia Goodfellow (4 stars) 17) Fool Me Once by Ashley Winstead (about one hour left of the audiobook by 3 stars)
I know some people listen to audio books at like 3x... unless the books are super short and one doesn't have to go to work, then I don't see how else it's possible to read almost 2 physical books a day.
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales if you don't do anything but read, you can read like 3 romance books in a day. I read (not on audiobook) the entire devil series by elizabeth o'roark yesterday lmao. btw, I really recommend that series. But yeah, (kindle unlimited) romance is typically a very easy and quick read.
@@annie-tu1oy yes if you do nothing else... (wish that were me lol) I don't read romance, but I do read about 12-15 books a month but work every day, and only 1/4 of it is audio books.. course # of books doesn't really say much, they could be poetry, novella, etc.. (short) vs reading a 500 or 1k page book.. average page length would be helpful to keep track of (I do in my reading journal, think my avg is 350-400 pgs)
I DNF’d getting his game back bc I noticed how often they call each other by their first name and I just could not get past it for some reason and I just didn’t care about them as a couple 😩
One other reason why I didn’t like A Brush With Love was all the relentless winking. Everyone was saying things “with a wink” or “shooting each other a wink” or having “the audacity to wink.” Am I wrong or does no one actually wink that much in real life? Why is one character winking twice in the same paragraph? Can we not come up with a better way to show that characters are trying to be funny or flirty? I’m beginning to think all these characters have something stuck in their eyes! 😂
I also disliked The Sizzle Paradox. I’m discovering that I don’t really like Sandhya/Lily Menon’s writing. I also probably won’t read her books either.
I swear I thought I was the only one who couldn’t get into katee Robert. I’ve tried and tried but I just cannot get into it. Gave the doctor 2* couldn’t finish pool boy, couldn’t finish your dad will do. I finally just gave up on trying to read her a few months ago.
Ugh, I positively cringed when you talked about Magic in the Wind. I picked it up last year and it was awful. There was no explanation for *anything*. No background on the sisters, no explanation of their "powers." No real reason why people were trying to kill Damon. It all felt completely surface-level. And the Big Prophecy was that the gate would be unlocked for Damon? Seriously? Hated it. Really, really hated it.
Love a 42 minute video of books you don’t like 😂
Gurl this is literally my entire yearly goal of reading in a month💀
Same omg
Chan's monthly reading has me gaslight, gatekeep, girlbossing myself as I too, wish to spend more money on books, read 52 books and dislike the majority of them + self-love is about high standards
52 BOOKS?! you deserve an award LOL
52 books. Absolutely unhinged. I love it 😂❤️
i read zero books this month bc i’ve been struggling to find one i like and that i can stick too. anyways, that is so SO impressive you go girl!
I'm not even going to make it to 52 books this year I swear. That is so unhinged and impressive!!!!
July seemed to be a rough reading month for many that I follow (myself included). Here is to a better reading month.
I will never not be amazed by how many books you read!! And honestly it makes that with so many, the # of dubs would be pretty high as well -- just kinda funny they all ended up in this wrap up 😂

Happy 4 year UA-cam anniversary! I love your videos and thank you for putting in all the effort.
Oh my new hairstyle looks so good!! I was growing out my hair but now I want to cut it
You are killing it girl! I read 8 books this month. Ngl I could read more if I didn’t go on instagram so much🤣
Omg what a mood! I’m on book 9 so maybe I will be able to say I read 9 books this month by the end of the day, but then again I’m here on Chandler’s video 😂
I read 2 🤣. My distraction is Tik tok
Any amount of book is great if ya ask me ❤️
8 is a lot don't let this youtuber make u feel like u aren't reading a lot- because some people actually have lives lol
Samee! Read 9 and was pretty proud but woww this is knocking it out of the park!
super agree with your thoughts about My Killer Vacation!!! i think there such a lack of balance between the smut, romance, and plot itself
Congratulations on your four year youtube anniversary!! I've been here awhile (though I've only started commenting recently 🙈) and I'm liking your content more and more every month. thanks for sticking around
This is so impressive, I actually want a full list of the books you read. So friggin cool!
I’ve been having bad migraines and my eyes hurt from reading so much, but I can’t stop😂
Get blue light glasses. It will help
Fellow migraine-sufferer here feeling absolutely called out 😅 sometimes the book is too good to stop! Thank god for audiobooks 📚
42 minutes of pure serotonin i can't wait
I felt the same about by the book, and im glad to hear your opinion on my killer vacation bc it definitely was sitting in my cart
I loved A Lady for a Duke! I really hope Alexis Hall continues to write historicals, his voice and prose are perfect for them.
YES! i think he has another that came out this year, it's MM i believe
I know this isn’t the first video with your haircut, but I just gotta say it is absolutely STUNNING. You look amazing!!
Congratulations for your 4 year anniversary 👏 ❤. You were my first book UA-camr who I started following. Always Loved ur thoughts about books and ur recommendations. 4 down more to go...
I love having 3 videos a week🤩. Hope you don't overwork yourself, though😚 Happy anniversary!
Saw the title of this video and I am shooketh. 52 books! My brain would be sizzled on a grill, brava 👏
UR HAIR LOOKS SO GOOD!! was so tired today and then i saw that you uploaded a 42 minute video. night made
Woww congrats for the amazing reading month (This is probably close to the amount of books that I’ll be able to read during the year hahahhaa) This video was such a delight, 42 min of prime content!
Happy 4 years on UA-cam! Your videos always brighten my day ♥

Seriously can't stop staring at your hair so gorgeous, your long hair was stunning but this look is amazing too

Wow So many books! I'm happy you had a great reading month!

“For the content. For the… beige content.” I lol’d 😂
Congratulations to 4 years on UA-cam! You‘re my absolute favorite booktuber and I‘m so happy you made this channel and created this community. Lots of love!
I reas 50 books so far this year holy shiiit!
Why is your voice and diction the best and also my favorite? I dont know but I barely read romance and you're still one of my comfort channels, thanks for doing your thing.
I absolutely LOVE your hair oh my god !!
how the HELLLL do u find the time to read 52 books?! im so confused. there arent even 52 days in a month lawddd 😭😭
"I get that you know that she likes bagels. that's really cool too." hahaha Jesus. Is it!? 🤣
Your hair is THE MOMENT
Love your videos and your quirky style. Im not even into romance books. 😊
Re: Sizzle Paradox question - PhDs are usually funded. You don’t make a lot of money, but they pay you just enough to live off of in exchange for TAing classes and doing research. You don’t pay to attend (unless your program sucks).
that makes sense! thanks
I read 12 books this month, and I think most of them were recommendations from your videos, so thank you!
hello from another chandler boooktuber!
hi! :)
Your hair looks so good
Congrats on 4 years! I wish I had found your channel sooner. I love your stuff.
i clicked on it thinking it was a midyear-tag 🤣🥰
Same about My Killer Vacation, Bet on It, and Under One Roof. And yay for 4 years on UA-cam! 🥳 I’ve been watching since right after the beginning 🥰
glad to have you here! and glad you are HERE on youtube
52 books!!.. yes you. you just inspire me!
“Also, she’s fucking weird” 🤣 I think The Sizzle Paradox description was 🤌
Katee Robert isn’t really for me either. The only book that actually did like is Electric Idol, but because of the individual characters. I did read Wicked Beauty and it was fine.
Thank YOU for the content. This is a really good place to spend 42 min of my day today :)
The amount I blinked at that title..
I usually read just ten or twelve books a month but in July I only managed six. How fast do you read? =)
Love these videos and love putting what I read in the month like I have my own channel 😁

Waw 52 books in a month 🔥🎉!!!
The general gist of Something Wilder sounds similar My Killer Vacation... maybe if you like one you'll like the other 😂
Wow…impressive accomplishment!
Can I please ask you how you did it that is amazing and fantastic congrats to you well done love your family friend John xxxxx
HOW?! Wtf I don’t believe it. That’s like a book and a half per day reading 24 hours straight. Do not have a job? Eat? Sleep? Anything else? 🤔
Did you read them via book or audio book?
both
Me struggling to stay on track for my goal of reading 40 books this YEAR 🥲
I just saw the thumbnail. 52 books??? I just??? I can't wait to watch this!!!
in a month?!?!
52.... And I thought I was productive
how is this humanly possible
audiobooks, multi tasking, not having a social life

Love your videos Chandler. And really digging the new hairdo 👍
OG chan fan here
illlllly lauren

I DNF’d getting his game back bc I noticed how often they call each other by their first name and I just could not get past it for some reason and I just didn’t care about them as a couple 😩
Did your mum name you after Chandler bing?
nope!
Jesus 52 books???! How do you do it? Also, happy book anniversary! 💖

❤️❤️❤️
I’d love your opinion on the arrowood brothers series and the off-campus series. Have you read any of these books?🤔
1. 52 books how are you a real human??
2. short dark hair is SOO you
all of tessa bailey books have greasy men who just like hot girls to me hahaha
I felt exactly the same way about My Killer Vacation - absolute disappointment.
Gorl…..52……….. 😂😂😂
52 books?! Girl did you sleep, eat this month??? 🤣 seriously tho that’s impressive go you!!
Chandler! You need to read Goddess of Spring by PC Cast. BEST persephone/hades retelling ever!
Here for the Beige Content 😌😂💛
how....
FIFTY TWO

By the Book sounds exactly like the beginning of Bojack Horseman…
Whaaaaaaat

Oh no, that sucks that you didn’t enjoy most of these 😬😬😬💀
Chandler is a girl! Chandler is a girl! Kindergarten flashbacks !
Sorry, had to. First time I saw a girl in real whose name is Chandler. Super cool.
I read 22 books this month, I don't think I have the memory retention capacity to read 52 😅 really enjoy your reviews 💖
How is that even possible? You'd have to be reading at least 1 whole book a day.
