I had a problem with Octavia MK2 immobilizer.. I could lock and unlock my car but thats all.. I removed battery but I still had a problem.. then I found in car manual this detail about key synchronisation.I press unlock and then lock button,like ok I can try at least.. and i was amazed.. that procedure turned off immo light and my car started without any problem.
so this has nothing to do with programming the transponder I suppose? Because I recieved only one key with my car and I would like to program a new one.

Question: I cant get it to work.. Q1. Do you have to turn key only to unlock position, if you turn it both ways (lock/unlock or unlock/lock) does that mess up the sequence? Q2. Does it work if key is part folded in at right angles? Q3. Other UA-cam videos show another step of turning the ignition on... Is that the answer?

Hi, mi control does not blink the red led, and do not open/close remotelly, but the car detects the key, the touch open/close door and start/stop works ok...any suggestions? thanks!
If it is not flashing, the battery has to be replaced. If you replaced the battery inside and it is still not flashing, try re-seating the battery tighter.

I did something wrong in vcds and my 2 keys dont respond any more. Sychronizing does not work anymore and the lightswitch inside gives a error... my lights work but not my foglights rear and back, i also cant turn on my drl’s while driving.

One of my 2019 gti key fobs just worked when i replaced the battery the other one didnt though it had to be reprogramed. Kinda weird..

VW Touran 2013, 1.4 TSI; this procedure does not work. The key can manually lock and unlock the door but the remote control buttons remain useless.
