Brilliant, great simple instructions. Worked for my GolfMk5. I got caught out after replacing battery and key would not work at all. All fixed with the last section of your explanation on synchronising. As you said, expose key, press unlock and wait a few seconds, then physically unlock the door with key. I am planning to by Polo High line Plus. What is your opinion ? There are many cars in the market but i love polo, so i don't have any second thoughts. Have a safe drive !
Please go ahead and buy the VW Polo if you like it. But I strongly recommend the Diesel TDI variant.

I just bought a used polo 6r. Most of the times to lock my car I have to press twice the lock key cause it doesn't lock with the first pression. What could be the issue? I already replaced the battery. The led works when I press the first time.

Hello friend, i try your video for my keys polo lounge tdi 2015 but battery 2 keys used in 1 week . All is ok doors , motor start but battery keys change all week !!????
After replacing battery we need to re sync out windows too for sliding down and up using remote. Pls make a video of it people will find it very useful.

My polo battery is dead so my remote will not work in that case and apart from that when i use the key to enter only the driver seat door is locked and unlocked the rest of the doors are unlocked they dont get locked.
I am also facing the same issues (with remote all the doors are getting locked and driver seat door not looking

1. Diesel will give very good mileage of 14-16 kmpl in city and 19-21 kmpl in highway. Petrol will only give 10 kmpl in city and 16-18 kmpl in highway.
2. Performance of diesel is very good while the performance of petrol is just average.
3. Diesel Variant has a more refined engine and the noise / vibration levels are better compared to petrol variant.
4. Diesel variant has a better resale value

+sandipan roychowdhury for small scratches you can use scratch removal pens. But for small dents, I suggest you to get it repaired from a nearby workshop...
I repaired small dents at a VW Workshop in Chennai and they have done a good job. The charges were also nominal...
dilip sukumar but Sir in kolkata they charge very high.. In one small dent they charged 3000-4000 rupees
I tried resync but for some reason it's still not working. The lights on the battery do blink. Any idea what else could I check?

Could you please tell me why the company provides only one reverse lamp and only one rear fog lamp? I have noticed this in many cars on today's market. Most of the time in dark areas, it is difficult to park or take reverse using a single reverse light. Some people told that the company is cutting cost through this. What is the fact?

+Smith Immanuel it is almost similar to the Polo in every aspects except the design. I personally prefer the design of Polo, so I have chosen it. If you like the Ameo, you can go with it. It is a good car.

+Smith Immanuel no. The back seat is comfortable only for 2 adults. The person sitting in the middle will struggle for leg space as there is a huge hump in the middle of the floor. It is ok for short trips in city. But during long trips the space is very cramped for 3 adults. Both Polo and Ameo are not recommended for seating 5 people comfortably.

+Smith Immanuel For seating 5 comfortably, I highly recommend the Honda WRV. It is the most spacious crossover in its segment. If you like going with Sedan, then Honda City is a good choice... You can also have a look at the Hyundai Creta. WRV, City & Creta are my picks for very good seating comfort.
