The woman who lied about being “raped” makes me so fucking sick. I was sexually assaulted during my sophomore year of high school by a super close person who I trusted and thought was my friend. He took so much advantage of my vulnerability, my trust, our friendship, and just me as a person. I was so scared to bring forward this information to anyone, even the school. I wasn’t in the best position at school, nor had the best reputation for a stupid act of mine when I was 14. So I really thought no one would absolutely believe me, and laugh at me saying I’m a joke, that I’m lying, etc. Everyone KNEW him, loved him, etc. I didn’t tell my own mom till nearly 2 years later after it happened. I was so terrified to tell her, thinking she’ll call me a slut, she’ll kick me out of the house, etc. I still to this day hasn’t made a case about it, because I don’t want to encounter him again. He haunted me at my old work place, I was so terrified to tell anyone. He terrified me on social media trying to follow me countless times, trying to get me to hang out with him alone again, trying to rebound our “friendship”, trying to say I looked good, etc. He made me severely depressed, go back to my old habits of hurting myself, hating myself, just not even wanting to exist. He even tried to get me alone in a locker room in our band room, just so he can do more things to me. I skipped classes and avoided him whenever we had class together, because he’ll just push his legs against my butt, he’ll ask me personal questions over text, and more. I was only 15 he was almost 18. I questioned what I did so wrong, to make him chose me out of all people to do the things he did to me. I questioned myself over and over again, just absolutely hating myself, and not him for years. I thought I was the problem why he stopped talking to me, or why he did these things, or why he was the way he was to me, or why I took him sending a hey meet me behind here as a joke. I knew him for being so funny, kind, great at band, and a good funny friend…I knew I wasn’t his type, and I thought he was gonna pull a prank on me or stood me up when he sent that text…Once I saw he had a tent pitched in his pants, it wasn’t a joke…I wanted to run but I froze. I can’t stand people who lie about being raped or assaulted, or any type of false accusations. Especially for those who are really trying to reach out are seen as attention seekers.

He terrified me on social media trying to follow me countless times, trying to get me to hang out with him alone again, trying to rebound our “friendship”, trying to say I looked good, etc. He made me severely depressed, go back to my old habits of hurting myself, hating myself, just not even wanting to exist. He even tried to get me alone in a locker room in our band room, just so he can do more things to me. I skipped classes and avoided him whenever we had class together, because he’ll just push his legs against my butt, he’ll ask me personal questions over text, and more. I was only 15 he was almost 18. I questioned what I did so wrong, to make him chose me out of all people to do the things he did to me. I questioned myself over and over again, just absolutely hating myself, and not him for years. I thought I was the problem why he stopped talking to me, or why he did these things, or why he was the way he was to me, or why I took him sending a hey meet me behind here as a joke. I knew him for being so funny, kind, great at band, and a good funny friend…I knew I wasn’t his type, and I thought he was gonna pull a prank on me or stood me up when he sent that text…Once I saw he had a tent pitched in his pants, it wasn’t a joke…I wanted to run but I froze. I can’t stand people who lie about being raped or assaulted, or any type of false accusations. Especially for those who are really trying to reach out are seen as attention seekers.

im sorry u went thru that and i hope ur doing better now. if its any consolation im in a situation with some similarities. i dated a girl last year and she raped me during our relationship. i was waiting until marriage and i thought she was too until she did that. the first time was in february this yr. i said no and told her i didnt want to do it but she forced it anyway. it happened again a few more times in march and april. i did consent a few times in march and april but other times she would beg me and order me to put it in and i didnt want to because i wanted us to stop having sex and be chaste. i said no as much as i could but i eventually would give in because she got mad if i didnt. now i am out of that relationship and the rape thing bothers me even though it happened in february. i guess i never realized exactly what it was until now, and i don't know who to tell because ppl love this girl and there's no concrete evidence so i dont want ppl to think i'm making it up

I don't think he was found guilty, he was in jail, couldn't pay bail I assume. Lots of innocent people go to jail while waiting for trial.

A false accusation of rape should be a felony. It destroys someone's reputation to be accused, whether or not they're found guilty.

False rape accusers ruin the accused's life and rep. (which they can sue for damages btw), they ruin the credibility of actual victims, and men in turn feel like whenever a woman does report a rape, it's a lie, AND then, that makes women not want to report the crime bc they feel no one will believe them. All very real scenarios that happen far too often.

Bc of this I really do feel like false accusers need to be legally held accountable. And that kind of already is a law considering reporting false info to the police is a criminal offense.
