Sometimes they're not lying on purpose, they genuinely believe what they're saying is true. Sometimes they're delusional other times they are simply wrong. Sounds literally like every feminist I know, there was a similar incident with me where she said I beat her and raped her etc the funny thing was I was with my friends and all 8 of them confirmed that she got a fine and went to prison for false accusations.

I had to rewatch "The Incident" over and over because her reaction at the moment and when she was talking to the camera was so different I was like, wait what just happened. The guy was very clearly playfully mimicing boxing. A ton of people do that. Hell, my mom does it to me. @Nate Jones Well people in the abortion clinic don't look lifeless man, they're all very friendly and ethical. I've been there loads of times. I think my girlfriend and I get an abortion about every other month. We just don't like using any form of contraception. Plus here in the Netherlands the rules are very lenient on abortion clinics, they can do whatever they want with the fetuses! Most are used for research, but some are used to make delicious hamburgers! Very tender, because the muscles haven't been activated yet, you should really try one if you visit the Netherlands anytime soon! We are a very friendly and open people.

Well, the deal is, not all abuse is physical. Infact the emotional, verbal, sexual and financial kind is often dismissed and minimized, but harder and longer to heal the wounds you don't see....so whether or not he bruises her, doesn't mean he isn't a abuser and hasn't hurt her plenty....oh, and often its easier to gain compliance and acceptance of abuse that comes without a physical component. You can't gaslight a bruise away, but you can convince a partner all to easily that that ugly put down about weight or intelligence is only said because you"love them so darn much..." Or "I'm just telling you the truth", and if you want an example proving my points go pull up what Onision did to Shiloh, here on UA-cam.....all and all she would of been better if he just hit her.....
That woman who lied about the guy hitting her is one of the reasons true victims don't come forward. If it wasn't filmed, everyone would have believed her and his life would have been ruined for something he didn't do. It's SICK when women claim a truly good guy is something secretly evil just because she wants attention. We need good guys in the world and she went and tried to willfully destroy a good man's life for a sympathy party and the spotlight. Thank God the incident was filmed and he was able to clear his name and expose who the TRUE perpetrator is. Not many men get to clear their name and some even go to prison for a crime they never committed.
@Robin Chawla Exactly, this is a huge problem. The other problem with punishing false accusers is that if there isn't evidence to sentence the guilty man would that make the woman a false accuser ? I think we should punish harshly only when there is proof that she was purposely throwing false accusion at someone.
I had this same problem. I was in a fight with an ex-gf, and she clawed my face with her nails and i pushed her away and called the cops. I had blood dripping from my face and when the cops came, she was crying and told them i hit her and threw her down. I spent a week in jail, i had to wear jail clothes and everything. I had to go to trial and fight against a jury who already saw this big guy with a beard and ruled me as guilty in their eyes but thank god for my mom, she bought me a camera to watch my dog while i’m at school and it recorded everything and i was found not guilty. Mind you, this was literally a few days before i left to med school. I was fighting a conviction that could put me in jail for 2-3 years a few days before getting into school. Cops wrote false accusations saying they saw what happened and scumbag prosecutors were rolling with it. I have never been that stressful, hurt and traumatized in my life. My whole future was on the line and guess what she got for a false police report and getting me almost imprisoned for a few years. Absolutely nothing. If you’re in the united states and you’re a man, when it comes to the justice system and you’re innocent with no proof, you already lost. Btw i’m never calling the cops again no matter what the problem is, i’d rather lay there dying than call the cops to protect me.

She was convinced that her cheating hadn't been caught and the baby was his. This horrorified her when it came out as there was proof she had cheated, but she had been convinced the baby would back up her claim. There us a possibility as well it meant the real father was someone she did not want to get involved with the baby. Either way, her thoughts are: I'm done. Give the guy credit his descent enough to see her world just shattered. All he wanted was the truth, and he got it I guess and that was enough for him. His reactions make me feel , he was just relieved. Its possible he was getting jabs in reality and knows people owe him apologies, like for the first time his proven innocent. His too good for her either way.

I have a lot of respect for the first guy. he found out she cheated on him multiple times with multiple different guys while they were together _and_ on top of that found out that her kid wasn't his. and even then, after hearing all this about this woman that he loved at one point, wasn't cruel to her. he wasn't rude, he didn't talk down to her or anything. he tried to calm her down and help her any way he thought he could at the time, all while remaining somewhat distant because he was hurt by her. he kept his cool and was respectful, which tells me that he seems like a good guy and he deserved better than that

Agreed. When the MeToo movement started, I was so pleased that finally women who have suffered genuine humiliation, abuse and pain got together and made huge strides forward in addressing such a devastating issue for women all over the world. And then so many women jumped on that bandwagon who were not genuine and slowly started to diminish the positive effect the MeToo movement had achieved. To the point that what started out as a fantastic display of sisterhood to address a massive problem has now become something of an eye-rolling farce. Women like that in the last segment of the video in that reality show have contributed to the lessening of the impact the MeToo movement should still be having. I only hope that by showing fakers like her that the viewers don't start to think that most women are like that. They are not. A massive proportion of those that have bravely come forward should not have their motives questioned because they TRULY HAVE been subjected to a form of abuse. Shame on her for disrespecting her fellow women and messing it up for those who have suffered.

If a stranger (and when would a stranger do what he did to someone, anyway? These two knew each other) did that to me I'd move away from him and tell him to stop. Unfortunately it isn’t a crime unless he got tried for it or there was a criminal investigation (at least in the US). Then she could be charged with false reporting. There may be a defamation lawsuit in there somewhere. Not sure if there are any UK laws on the books to prosecute someone for lying about you. They have hate speech laws, but I don’t think they would call that hate speech. Hate speech usually gets defined as “stating a fact about something that a special group doesn’t want to accept as reality.” A lie is not a fact, so it’s automatically excluded from hate speech. I just won a court case against a seriously sick woman, the judge smiled whilst calling out not guilty on both charges, took me 13mts of worry. My Johnny Depp moment made me dance and smile for the next month.

I actually dont believe there has ever been an issue with people not believing women. I actually think it's more to do with women not comming forward. That being said I have been in a similar situation, where a female employee I used to work with thought she could get me fired by saying I chased her around with a knife. What she didnt account for was the fact that management called the police and had me arrested before even looking at the camera footage. Even tho the case was dropped when they found out that she was lying her teeth out it still took 6 months of my life away in stress, cost me a job and emotionally scared me and to think she got away without even a slap on the wrist when I stand here 10yrs later. I mean the whole situation has made me sceptical of any female making claims like that even tho I am aware that it does happen I think the world is geared to take what a woman says at face value more often than what a man says. I mean think about it if the situation was reversed and I said she chased me around with a knife i doubt she would have been arrested the cops probably would not have even been called.

I turned her down and she concocted a whole story that i raped her but her friends came and rescued her and i fled. I got lucky bc i had left to ny the night before it supposedly happened to a birthday party. When i came back i was jumped without knowing anything. Friends stopped talking to me police got involved and i was lucky to have video evidence of me and my family in ny at the time. I still cant help but to wonder what would have happened if i didn't. Infact the emotional, verbal, sexual and financial kind is often dismissed and minimized, but harder and longer to heal the wounds you don't see....so whether or not he bruises her, doesn't mean he isn't a abuser and hasn't hurt her plenty....oh, and often its easier to gain compliance and acceptance of abuse that comes without a physical component. You can't gaslight a bruise away, but you can convince a partner all to easily that that ugly put down about weight or intelligence is only said because you"love them so darn much..." That woman who lied about the guy hitting her is one of the reasons true victims don't come forward. If it wasn't filmed, everyone would have believed her and his life would have been ruined for something he didn't do. It's SICK when women claim a truly good guy is something secretly evil just because she wants attention. We need good guys in the world and she went and tried to willfully destroy a good man's life for a sympathy party and the spotlight. Thank God the incident was filmed and he was able to clear his name and expose who the TRUE perpetrator is. I had this same problem. I was in a fight with an ex-gf, and she clawed my face with her nails and i pushed her away and called the cops. I had blood dripping from my face and when the cops came, she was crying and told them i hit her and threw her down. I spent a week in jail, i had to wear jail clothes and everything. I had to go to trial and fight against a jury who already saw this big guy with a beard and ruled me as guilty in their eyes but thank god for my mom, she bought me a camera to watch my dog while i’m at school and it recorded everything and i was found not guilty. Mind you, this was literally a few days before i left to med school. I was fighting a conviction that could put me in jail for 2-3 years a few days before getting into school. Cops wrote false accusations saying they saw what happened and scumbag prosecutors were rolling with it. I have never been that stressful, hurt and traumatized in my life. My whole future was on the line and guess what she got for a false police report and getting me almost imprisoned for a few years. Absolutely nothing. If you’re in the united states and you’re a man, when it comes to the justice system and you’re innocent with no proof, you already lost. Btw i’m never calling the cops again no matter what the problem is, i’d rather lay there dying than call the cops to protect me.

Agreed. When the MeToo movement started, I was so pleased that finally women who have suffered genuine humiliation, abuse and pain got together and made huge strides forward in addressing such a devastating issue for women all over the world.
And then so many women jumped on that bandwagon who were not genuine and slowly started to diminish the positive effect the MeToo movement had achieved. To the point that what started out as a fantastic display of sisterhood to address a massive problem has now become something of an eye-rolling farce.
Women like that in the last segment of the video in that reality show have contributed to the lessening of the impact the MeToo movement should still be having. I only hope that by showing fakers like her that the viewers don't start to think that most women are like that. They are not. A massive proportion of those that have bravely come forward should not have their motives questioned because they TRULY HAVE been subjected to a form of abuse. Shame on her for disrespecting her fellow women and messing it up for those who have suffered.

Unfortunately it isn’t a crime unless he got tried for it or there was a criminal investigation (at least in the US). Then she could be charged with false reporting. There may be a defamation lawsuit in there somewhere. Not sure if there are any UK laws on the books to prosecute someone for lying about you. They have hate speech laws, but I don’t think they would call that hate speech. Hate speech usually gets defined as “stating a fact about something that a special group doesn’t want to accept as reality.” A lie is not a fact, so it’s automatically excluded from hate speech.

I just won a court case against a seriously sick woman, the judge smiled whilst calling out not guilty on both charges, took me 13mts of worry. My Johnny Depp moment made me dance and smile for the next month.

I actually dont believe there has ever been an issue with people not believing women. I actually think it's more to do with women not comming forward. That being said I have been in a similar situation, where a female employee I used to work with thought she could get me fired by saying I chased her around with a knife. What she didnt account for was the fact that management called the police and had me arrested before even looking at the camera footage. Even tho the case was dropped when they found out that she was lying her teeth out it still took 6 months of my life away in stress, cost me a job and emotionally scared me and to think she got away without even a slap on the wrist when I stand here 10yrs later. I mean the whole situation has made me sceptical of any female making claims like that even tho I am aware that it does happen I think the world is geared to take what a woman says at face value more often than what a man says. I mean think about it if the situation was reversed and I said she chased me around with a knife i doubt she would have been arrested the cops probably would not have even been called.
