I had Freedom VanGo install a bathroom and two recliners to make my Sprinter into a super comfortable way to travel. The quality of work they do is top notch.
Love the EKKO, would love to see Winnebago actually put in a induction top as standard and get rid of LP. Checking the FVG guys site, loving these builds!
Hi Hank, please ask Grant what toilet options he recommends, e.g. black tank, cassette, composting, plastic wrapper, etc. Really enjoy your interviewing approach.
I without a doubt love the Wrappongreen. I hate black tanks, hate composing as both require a ton of maintenance over time. I DEAL with cassette because it is what it is, but I prefer wrappon greens
Asking Grant what he would do different if he could design a build was a good question to aks. It would be a good to make this a standard question. I like to really hear what you serious end users and individuals in the industry really think based on your experiences
Great video with Grant, Hank, thx! Added an Ekko to my list. Only issue I had was the "nastiness" of the cassette toilet but I came across the Americanizr by the Fit RV peeps which makes use of a blank tank slinky. The Ekko pricing must have increased significantly since they almost $200k now MSRP. Comparing them to the Aeon RV now as well. I was also at OE East and saw both the Ekko and Aeon there. Thx again, Hank! 👍
As someone who loves both, the 210k+ actual price of the aeon and the 165k actual price (as of today) the Ekko makes it not even in the ballpark..... I do like the aeon a ton, but it's not compatible. Also don't particularly care for the battery selection in the aeon for the cost premium
@@FreedomVanGo thx for replying! I've also been visiting your YT channel as well and following your Ekko builds. Top notch. 👍 Regarding pricing, the $165k you mentioned must be after going 12 rounds with the dealer which is doable, of course if one can chew down 25-30% off MSRP. While I found the Aeon interesting, I wasn't a fan of walking through the bathroom every time I'd enter the house. Very good info to know regarding the Aeon's battery, thx!
@@TravelingKory honestly it's not. A friend is looking for an Ekko and contacted the local lazydays who happens to have a cancelled order coming. Second email he got the price. Easy process
I like these class b+ they're looking really good but my main flaw with this is it's gasoline not diesel. diesel would be great for class B+ vans like this.
@FreedomVanGo When has a diesel B been less expensive to run in the US . Why have all the US brands moved away from offering diesels ? FORD could offer a diesel option for the Transit but they don't!
NEW Winter Camping Fun T-Shirt Design is Available Now😃 bit.ly/3Vg9bMz Thank you for Watching 🙏 🚐💨

Just brought home my new Ekko yesterday! Can’t wait to hit the road in her!! Thanks Hank for the good info. Very interested in the lightbulb.
Oh Cool Congratulations on the new Ekko...I got a lightbulb upgrade myself since we shot this video

YW Diane, We've still got a few videos left from Overland East thanks for watching 😀
Great questions, really thoughtful answers. Thanks
Generator and second battery for sure!

That's a good suggestion James, we're definitely planning on doing some follow up videos with FreedomVanGo

The Ekko has gobs more power and torque than a sprinter
Diesel is more expensive to run for no real advantage
@@sarahann530 eh. That's not really a reason IMo to choose a vehicle. It swip swaps every year or two

@@sarahann530 depending on where you are in the country not that long ago
For that price you should have to do zero upgrades. Who in the Sam Hell wants to deal with a cassette toilet?
