+Zone Television Eek, hopefully these bikes are not plagued with the same problems that were associated with those... They appear to be very nice bikes, I like made in the U.S.A, and I'm glad they're chain driven instead of belt like the old ones... but now that I know this I'm gonna hold off on getting one for myself until some 1000-5000 mile reviews come out.
That really makes me happy they are making it back. I hope they pick up in popularity , its such great looking products and fast. I loved the Buell line when they was sold by Harley and even more with EBR on its own now. A huge goal to own a 1190RX.
+650ib Thanks for vid man! Really like hearing Erik talk about his bikes. He is definitely not short on passion and knowledge, and I hope they fare better this time around.
+luKe Thanks for watching Luke. I think EBR will be very successful this time. They're already doing things right by lowering the retail price of the 1190RX to $13,995
Kaplan Cycles got me thinking about EBR again with the '24 Hammerhead Patriot colorway, so ive been going 'back to the future' w these older vids 8 years ago researching. Having had the final Analog/catless/Ti header GSXR K6 1K and currently on a roadrace-ish setup G2 Busa w gsxr tail, 200/60 tire, revalved suspension - having 100+ torque AND that is a sharp handling bike without going Italian. For a daily street bike 100+ ft lbs is THE WAY to get around and the latest Hammerhead bodied bike may be the one to get. I love how E.B. compared his ethos to the porsche 911 cars keeping something the SAME and building on it over the years. That is obviously a function of a smaller boutique operation but also shows over time compared to big OEMs that just because you CAN change something doesnt mean you should! That is what makes certain machines timeless.
I'm a HUGE EBR fan. I was sad when I heard they closed down last year. I'm glad to see them reopen their doors. I was going to buy a new R1. this changed my mind.
+Leland Holton I'm looking forward to riding the 1190RX and will offer my opinion on it. I sat on one and it was very comfortable, more comfy than my R1M.
+650ib C'mon 650, you know Yamaha changed their priority on the 1, track riding position is first on Yammy's list since BMW annihilated everyone in the class.
Man, I'm so glad to see EBR back in business. I remember back when I was a little kid, I'd always climb up onto one of Erik's original prototype 1980s bubble fearing RR1000 race bikes that was on display at a local Michigan Harley dealer. It was the most wild looking bike I had ever seen.
So nice to see EriK Buell back in action. His bikes are very impressive and gotta give it to him for sticking with his vision and never giving up. He looks very humble as well. I hope they succeed this time and sell a ton of bikes.
I'm glad to see EBR back in the production motorcycle business. Me and a friend toured that location in 1997. At that time they were partnered with Harley-Davidson. While were checked out the facility, they replaced my friend's bike's tank under warranty. It was just a clearcoat paint issue. Good to see an American company in the sportbike industry. Thanks for the video. Ride aware, and "Keep on keeping on!"
650ib Haha! With gray, comes experience and wisdom. Welcome and embrace it. Lol! I hope that you get an opportunity to test ride the new EBR 1190's. Take care.
You can really see the passion that Erik Buell has for racing and motorcycling when he talks about the bike. It's a rare thing to see these days while innovation is often overlooked in favor of cost efficiency or conformation with temporary trends. Afterall, innovation is incredibly expensive on this level of production. But, like most motorcyclists share with Buell, placing our passion before logic (financially) is an afterthought when creating our own masterpiece..usually a regretful one. EBR's hard work and fierce approach to accomplishing what they have cost them their business, and thankfully new business leadership has witnessed that in good faith. An American made machine aside, I stand by EBR and cannot wait to see what they produce in the years to come. They have the Chassis, now they just need a design that can aesthetically compare with it's competition.
Great vid 650, also 185 bhp vtwin! WTF thats insane, also am i the only one seeing all that room in the middle of the engine. Time for a turbo? Last but not least dont forget when hardly ableson dropped buel from there line (cause they had no vision) ebr bought it back went into r&d, then came out and spanked every SS CLASS motorcycle on the track. I remember watching the racing at mid-ohio and nothing came close! GREAT VID IB!
+Mike Brink Hey Mike. I never played sports, sadly. I started working out when I was 29yrs old and fell in love with it. I'm still going at it. Thanks for the question.
Good video! I've wanted an EBR since the prototype drawing was released. I've read some of the comments, and if people think that the S1000 was BMWs first stab at building a sportbike, then they need to do some research. The problem that EBR has had is that investors are weary of putting money into something that they have no clue about. Harley screwed EBR over at a time when Harley sales were dwindling and Buell sales were rising. WTF? America is in love with the cruiser, and if you don't think so, ask any random stranger did they watch SOA. Then ask the same people who Valentino Rossi is or any other Moto GP rider, and see what kind of expression you get. I hope the guys at EBR make it.
He has such a passion for American made and a deep passion for motorcycles. Hopefully now that he has some business partners that share his passion they will stick around and produce some cool products for years to come.
That sucks!!!! Hopefully not though! Just put the yoshimura fender eliminator kit on the gsx-s1000. Way,way better looking now and then next is the yoshimura alpha carbon fiber exhaust:) but man this thing is awesome!!!! It's fast and comfortable and nimble, I loving this thing big time... Best bike I've ever ridden:)
650, great video !! "You Truly Are The Man" ! I have to give you a standing ovation on this blog. Please just get that 1190 I promise you will not regret it. The wife and I will come and visit with the "CFB's" soon ! -Sarge
i am a camerman and editor for news television. i really think you could easily walk into a journalist job or reporter probably for motorcycle related since thats your passion. your intelligent and ask great questions. one reason is why your channel is so great! very cool you were invited to the presser!
+qwerty123456789 Thank you VERY, VERY much for the compliments! This started as a hobby but I'm enjoying it more and more every day and every experience. Thanks for sharing these fun time with me! More to come.
I know this is an old video but 650ib if you are still reading comments, I just came across a 2014 1190RX that is brand new still in the dealer. the deal they offered me is lets put it this way 4 digits take home price!! As a long term owner of the EBR 1190RX would you recommend the 1190rx? should i go for it??
Very passionate when describing his Motorcycles! That says, and means a lot to the consumer. I wish I new about his situation sooner than just finding out now. Now all the tooling is spread around timbuck two and Back! I want to bring back the product to the passionate Enthusiasts! I need to search for an investor, or maybe government grants and make it Corporate? I'd love to bring this to Vermont, and put passionate people like me to work and bring this back with low overhead somehow, and think volume instead of high cost to be competitive in the "dog eat dog" market. Harley Davidson shouldn't have issues, they're targeting different drivers, and riders.
Looking forward to the interview... I don't know anyone more passionate or committed then Erik Buell. I suggest you work overtime to make your lady happy( preparing a hot bath, back rubs, foot massages... Whatever it takes) that 1190 needs to be in your garage.
Wow! You're credentials are up there Ib to be invited to Erik Buell's press conference. Great first hand interview. Looking forward to your test ride and/or purchase of an 1190RX. Keep up the excellent work Ib.
+cwatc777 Thanks Chris! I'll return to EBR for a full interview with Erik and I'll open it up to questions from my subscribers. I'll announce this in a future motovlog. Yes, I'm looking at a 1190RX Red/white/blue special edition. We'll see if it happens.
650ib I must admit.....it was pretty cool watching the assembly line of progression commence from ground zero. Thanks for sharing an awesome and didactic video!
Forgive my sense of humor but I was "CrAcKiN uP" at (Time 2:42) As you proceeded to the front door looking for your tour guy. He was slowly walking behind you. The part is when he miraculously appeared in front of you (while opening the door) like Jesus showing the way!
+william brown LOL! I had to edit out the part where he offered me some homemade pastry and I engulfed it in 2 seconds cause I hadn't eaten in 9hrs. LOL!
HAHAHA I believe you bro and I'm sure your 7 1/2 hour trip to Wisconsin was a journey within itself. Not to mentioned; you single-handedly opened up a whole new dimension for viewers which breaks up the monotony unlike any that I've ever seen. Keep up the good work.
+william brown LOL! I have some footage from the road trip, I might upload it for Saturday's video. It's pretty entertaining but I didn't want it to distract from the point of this video, which was EBR Motorcycles. Thanks for the compliment!!!! Comments like yours make me continue to do what I'm doing with my channel.
That wouldn't be a bad idea 650ib and I'm 100% sure....a good percentage of your viewers are patiently awaiting a saddle time review of that magnificent 2016 H2 or the RSV4. Either way you're more than welcome. I just call it like I see it man!! BTW, once I get my UA-cam channel up and running while learning the editing techniques to a science. I'll be sure to give you a well respected shout out.
This is a great story. Aside from EBR being an American company, it shows that holding on to dreams no matter what does pay off. Congrats Erik Buell. +650ib Thanks for the video Bro.
650ib Lol, yeah that's me bro. I turned the corner when I was in the Air Force. When you're over in Iraq, all there is to do is hit the weights. lol. Be safe my brother.
Another great video as always. At the conference, did they express any desire to produce a middleweight sport bike or are there intentions only to stick with liter bikes? I have always loved Buell since I first saw the xb9r when I was younger, I really hope this go around he's able to get his amazing product all the credit it deserves
+Channing Kraemer Channing is exactly right. They mentioned this at the press launch and said they need to sell units and get revenue before launching more products. They're interested in middleweights for sure.
+JGhost0812 LOL! They are only producing 5 of the red/white/blue special edition 1190RX and it's the one I want. They might be sold, we're waiting to see. Please stay tuned.
I live here in Wisconsin and I was planning on attending that event and completely forgot about it!!!! Since you have made the trek to Wisconsin come on up north a little bit and do a track day at ROAD AMERICA you would absolutely love the track!
+650ib I live 10 mins from the track lol definitely keep me in the loop if you decide to because I will be there! I would love to meet you and or do a track day with ya!
He sounds like a passionate and inspiring guy. Those sort of people are who you want to make your stuff, not some business man sitting up in his office telling his subordinates to make something that will make him money.
+650ib you'd probably like him I'm sure. He has been a writer for quite a while and is a car guy as well as a bike guy. He has done some really entertaining and insightful writing. On the EBR resuscitation, they'll really need to do some rebuilding of relationships with dealers and former customers. I hope they have someone designated specifically for that task.....unfortunately no matter who was or is to blame for their last flame outs they've left some bad impressions on people with the product. The concepts and designs are awesome, they really need to work on the customer/dealer appreciation, support, and logistical side. Thanks again, great vid...glad a true rider enthusiast got to see and hear the opening talks.
Hey, honestly this would make a great track bike. All of your other bikes are to sexy to hit the track with all the time. This bike will be perfect for it.
Looks like some awesome bikes. The person that was next to you had a Wheels Through Time shirt. Which is a motorcycle museum but they also have a TV show called American Restoration. which I love because they restore old Indians and Harley from the early 20th century. Did you get a chance to talk to him or do you know he works there, because that would be a cool place to go for a video
Great vid 650, love we r getting back into the game. I'm kinda bummed though that they are only making 5 bikes with that paint theme. Would love to see OUR colors fly more on these bikes ya know. Anyway, thanks for the vid
Nice to see Peter Egan there (he is the guy that said touching the ground is over rated). Mr Egan is a columnist that has written for Cycle World and Road and Track magazines. Big fan of his work.
Awesome bikes! I almost bought a 14' 1190 instead of my Panigale. To me it's like an American 1199 I loved how raw it was had a lot of character! But it wasn't up to par with the Panigale or R1. The 16's don't look different at all so I'll be looking forward to hearing more about the improvements.
+650ib nice! I saw the retail price is only 14k that's nice! They previously were +20k I think which seemed too high for what they offered haha looking forward to your video buddy
Well done my friend, this was really interesting. I am very happy to see EBR back on stable ground and being given the chance to do what he does so well. I really respect his vision and commitment as an engineer first, then a motorcycle builder. Are you getting the chance to test one and if so, when?
+Groagun Yes, I'll return to EBR within the next few weeks to test ride the bikes and make another video. I'm uploading more footage from this event on Saturday.
Interesting on that one bike that you looked at the levers on that they went for the body mounted turn signals but didn't go with flush mounts even though they're 'aftermarket style' LED's
Well now that I'm paying attention, it's on all the bikes, it's a hell of a lot better than the pumpkins, but it would be nice to have stock flush mounts on there... eh, easy fix though since there's already holes for it.
+650ib westconsin my second home away from home, that was a nice little interview you did there I love it can't wait to here your feedback of the 1190RX
+BIKE GEARS Thanks Bike Gears! I'm planning on returning to EBR for a full interview with Erik and to test ride the 1190RX. I'll announce it on the Twitter.
The EBR has such potential it set the record time at Jennings with Nicolà Canepa It lapped within 200th of a second of the Panigale1199 .. Mark Miller really did some epic riding with Splitlath back in 2014 on IOMTT you have to watch the full lap of that video it's amazing
Didn't they race the 'RS' not 'RX', which posted on the video at 14:06 ??? Which, if you watch Weever's channel is a bit different of a bike according to Erik.
Sorry for my ignorance but what is up with the front brakes on the 1199 rx's? Looks like they are bolted to the outside of the rim.. never seen anything like it.
you like the rsv4 even more then the h2 looking for something that Is comfortable for three to four hour rides but also will beat on most 1000s I live in upstate ny if thT holds any relevance
fantastic vid ib I didn't realise ebr got in financial trouble last year , can tell really Eric does love what they do. I always back the under dog , I know their earlier bikes weren't perfect but they can only get better . Looking forward to your part 2 about spec's and ride . Nice 1 bro .Kiwi rider.
+Upunk Thank you! I'm glad you're interested in EBR Motorcycles! It's a great American company and I think they'll succeed this time! Part 2 coming soon.
+Upunk I saw a post on their Facebook page and gathered the nerve to request attendance. They approved my request and my 20hr journey began. It was a long day. LOL!
Ib, awesome info and video. This bike reminds me more of a Benelli tornado for some reason than an rc8 .. Nevertheless it's a stunning beauty. Congrats on your new ride ;)
Mr. Erik Buell is to EBR as Elon Musk is to Tesla and Space X. These types of men are visionaries in modern day history. Just like Mr. Honda and Mr. Toyoda was back in the 1950's when they started Japan's motorcycles and automobiles.
My first thought was it needed to be offered in white. Then you walk up to the red white and blue flag bike. Only 5 available. Nice. Lol. Few thoughts on the bike. I remember Don Canet at cycle world put the EBR and the Panigale on the dyno. The EBR sounded amazing, and better than the Panigale, imo. I've always thought the short, fat, wide and round fairings were hideous. I also think the front brake is ridiculous. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but have you ever seen cooling ducts on the front brake of a motorcycle? Exactly. There needs to be 2 rotors and smaller calipers. My last problem is the engine. When they designed and built their own engine, based on the Rotax, it failed with conventional oil under stress testing. That's when they partnered with Amsoil. The only way they could get the engine to pass was by using Amsoil. Imo that's a bandaid to a bad design. Lastly, they never spoke of all the clutch problems they had. Random thoughts and opinions. I think the bike is ugly as sin. That's just my opinion. One of your best vids btw. I'm seriously trollin' and hatin' now ib...😂
+Scott Frailey You're NOT trolling or hating Scott. You presented valid points and I hope the issues you mentioned have been addressed. Thanks for the compliment on the video, I'm trying to improve with every one.
Great video ib! Don't listen to all the whiners and complainers. Can't please everyone! A motorcycle is a motorcycle whether it's the fastest or the slowest. Who cares if it's not better. It's USA made! 650ib is just showing variety!
did you test ride ? lol what a fantastic video every video i watch its like winning the lotto your one very lucky lad keep up the great work all them bikes were fantastic i take home one of each if i had enough money
+Fast_N_Fearless The bikes weren't prepped for test rides that day. Please stay tuned, I'm returning to EBR to interview Erik and will test ride the bikes.
+tj mede The ZX14R is a nice bike. I test rode it and made a video review. I'm looking forward to riding the 1190RX and offering my opinion. Right now, the RSV4 RF is my favorite bike.ua-cam.com/video/Yw-f62pijtw/v-deo.html
+650ib This is a very informative video my good fellow, I'm now officially interested in this brand of motorcycle, thanks for the vid. Your videos are always entertaining, informative and educational, keep up the great work. Thanks again.
+Jumping Boy 1000 You're very welcome! They reduced the MSRP on the 1190RX to $13,995. Please let me know if you need any information or contact info for EBR Motorcycles. A link to their website is in the description.
Everyone I've ever asked who already knew about Buell/EBR loves them in one way or another, Canadians/Americans Europeans, Harley guys, vfr bro, superbike old timers (especially them), sumos, squids, GS, and of course the people who ride them. That says something about them :)
Seems like they have made a 1299s panigale, just with carbon rims. I'm very interested in you comparing those two. I have an 899 and was planning on getting a 1299 next year or possibly an Agusta, but you said they are restyling the Agusta and you said you aprillia and r1 are more fun than the ducati, so now I don't know what the hell to get next year lol...saw you were in IT by the way, I'm half way done with a career change and my degree in IT, maybe we will bump into each other in the business world if the not the track...
+Nicolas VanLaanen Hey Nicolas. Currently, I'd take the RSV4 over the Panigale and R1M. This might change after I ride the 1190RX but I sat on it and it's just as comfortable as my RSV4. You made an great career choice and I'd love to meet you one day.
for those that don't know they did a performance test against a Ducati 1199 and it was only a half second off lap times. america does make great sport bikes. I hope they do well this time
+650ib interesting. on all accounts I hear about they are really good bikes. try to get a test ride and give us a review 650. I'd be really interested in the results
+Necho Hopkins If he does this will get boring after a while... If you can buy anything in life, a big house, a big boat, expensive cars etc... What's more to look out for? :) You just get used to it... I think it's much cooler to save up and work hard for the one dream bike than that you like... Instead of needing to have 5-10 which are all practically the same, be happy wit hthe simple things in life, dont become too materialistic... Peace
will the rsv4 beat the h2 WhT is the difference in rsv4 models and what is the fastest common 1000 and is the zx14r really any faster than the zx10r srry for all the questions but ur the only motovlogers opinion I trust especially when it comes to spending up to 25 thousand plus dollars
+tj mede The RSV4 wont beat the mighty S1000RR in a top end SMACKDOWN type of race but it will beat it on a road racing track. If you're looking for a SMACKDOWN King, the H2 is the bike for you!
I know competitive racing is important to EBR, but I think to survive long term they really need to use some of that engineering genius they were putting into hero, and turn out some nice bikes at lower price points.
650ib That is good, but I still think it would be good for them to have some other offerings. I wish I had some money saved up when they first announced they were in receivership state, prices plummeted on the bikes, I saw an sx's for under 10 grand, and rx's for like 10-11.
Fast Bikes magazine gave the bike a good review a while ago before EBR had some troubles. FBMag wanted a long termer but it obviously never happened. I'm just wondering how well these bikes perform. I'm super interested. Get one 650ib 😆
+650ib Yee!! That's so dope!! I was looking through a few magazines and reviews last night. The 1190RX has a lot of great reviews. which color? The grey and red looks hype. word!
GREAT VIDEO MAN! Well 650ib it looks like it's about that time for you to sell your R1 bro... So you can get one of those limited edition 1190RX Stars&Stripes !!!! Just let ur boy "R1Kelly" be the R1 King up north there Lol
+650ib As soon as possible, they have some here in town, left overs from before the BK they also sell Aprilla, Triumph, MV Augusta, Moto Guzzi and Ducks! It's motorcycle bliss! I was worried that EBR was gone for good, and didn't want to grab one with zero parts support. I'll keep up posted and through up a video once I have it in my grubby little hands!
Erik Buell is such an awesome guy
+Zone Television Indeed he is!!! I will return to their headquarters to interview him sometime soon.
+650ib I'm hoping to make the journey to his Mecca this year perhaps we'll run it to one another ..
+Zone Television Since you know who he is, is this the same Buell from Harley's Buell partnership?
+Nickolas927 yessir
+Zone Television Eek, hopefully these bikes are not plagued with the same problems that were associated with those... They appear to be very nice bikes, I like made in the U.S.A, and I'm glad they're chain driven instead of belt like the old ones... but now that I know this I'm gonna hold off on getting one for myself until some 1000-5000 mile reviews come out.
Just so pissed that it all fell apart afterwards. This was a beauty !!!
He’s so passionate. I love the look of Buell Motorcycles.
650ib youre a lucky man. Thanks for sharing this. Erik Buell seems every bit as passionate about bikes as you could expect him to be.
+Bradford Walker Thanks Bradford!
That really makes me happy they are making it back. I hope they pick up in popularity , its such great looking products and fast. I loved the Buell line when they was sold by Harley and even more with EBR on its own now. A huge goal to own a 1190RX.
+Mikie “darkensvt” Smith The bikes are awesome Mikie!
you can feel the passion in every single words... great man!
+650ib Thanks for vid man! Really like hearing Erik talk about his bikes. He is definitely not short on passion and knowledge, and I hope they fare better this time around.
+luKe Thanks for watching Luke. I think EBR will be very successful this time. They're already doing things right by lowering the retail price of the 1190RX to $13,995
sir eric buell the way he explained everything and his feeling shows his dedication his vision man i have never seen a buisnessman be so motivated

+The Black Smegma I'm glad they're back too!
Nice! Sweet looking bike. Can't wait for the test ride! I like his passion for his brand.
+TJ Sims Thanks TJ! I'm looking forward to the test ride too!
So nice to see EriK Buell back in action. His bikes are very impressive and gotta give it to him for sticking with his vision and never giving up. He looks very humble as well. I hope they succeed this time and sell a ton of bikes.
+DJ MotoVlogs Thanks DJ and I will do my best to assist EBR Motorcycles with sales and growth of their company.
+650ib Sounds like a plan man. You should definitely add one to the collection. lol
I'm glad to see EBR back in the production motorcycle business. Me and a friend toured that location in 1997. At that time they were partnered with Harley-Davidson. 650ib Haha! With gray, comes experience and wisdom. Welcome and embrace it. Lol! I hope that you get an opportunity to test ride the new EBR 1190's. Take care.
wow that was great .ib you got the big scoop this time.good stuff!
+Bill Weiss Thanks Bill!
This man is a real American hero. Best of luck to you Buell.
You can really see the passion that Erik Buell has for racing and motorcycling when he talks about the bike. It's a rare thing to see these days while innovation is often overlooked in favor of cost efficiency or conformation with temporary trends. +Shane Devers Thanks Shane! Great summary and I can't wait to see what the future holds for EBR Motorcycles!
+Henry Matthews Thank you very much Henry!!!! A turbo 1190RX would be amazing!!!!! Don't give me any naughty ideas. LOL!
Haha
there's no room in the middle of the motor......
+Mike Brink Hey Mike. I never played sports, sadly. I started working out when I was 29yrs old and fell in love with it. I'm still going at it. Thanks for the question.
Good video! I've wanted an EBR since the prototype drawing was released. America needs more guys like Erik
+HumblePie GSXR I agree!
He has such a passion for American made and a deep passion for motorcycles. Hopefully now that he has some business partners that share his passion they will stick around and produce some cool products for years to come.
650ib!!!!!You gotta get one of those Stars and Stripes 1 of 5 1190's :):) for your collection! Gorgeous bike!
+C Stephenson I agree! I'm looking into it but all 5 of them might be sold.
-Sarge
Thanks Frankie! I love the 1190RX, let's see what the future holds. Looking forward to your visit.
I respect Mr. Buell for continuing to believe in his life's work.
+Jacob Black Much, Much respect to Erik!
Good coverage ib... Real cool that you got invited to the press day and were able to film everything!
+J2Disco Thanks! I was very fortunate and appreciative of this wonderful opportunity.
Its nice to see a country embrace their own creations and respect the people who build them instead of shipping it overseas like Australia does.
i am a camerman and editor for news television. i really think you could easily walk into a journalist job or reporter probably for motorcycle related since thats your passion. your intelligent and ask great questions. one reason is why your channel is so great! very cool you were invited to the presser!
+Patricia Badeau Erik is an amazing human being.
Thanks dude, another quality vid of a place and experience that very view will have the pleasure of experiencing. So thanks for sharing.
+IrishKnacker My pleasure and thanks for taking the time to view and comment!!!!
@6:25 "wife is gonna kill me" translate to 650ib just order himself a new 1190rx ha ha ha another awesome video
Looking forward to the interview... I don't know anyone more passionate or committed then Erik Buell. I suggest you work overtime to make your lady happy( preparing a hot bath, back rubs, foot massages... Whatever it takes) that 1190 needs to be in your garage.
+John Arthurs Happy wife happy life lol
Man this channel just keeps getting better and better I'm tellin you!
+Ogre Doug Thanks Doug! Check out the EBR video I uploaded tonight, I think you'll enjoy it!
650ib
You got it buddy
I was ao happy to hear that they were back in business and now I look forward to seeing and perhaps one day owning one
+Garland Holland Yes! You should purchase one Garland.
7 hours thats commitment and glad to see EBR is doing well the bikes look sick and 650 your the best youtuber dude looking forward to more videos
+sam kovacs 7.5hrs there, 4hrs for the press release and 9hrs home. It was a long day but well worth it! Thanks for the compliment!
650ib I must admit.....it was pretty cool watching the assembly line of progression commence from ground zero.
Thanks for sharing an awesome and didactic video!
Forgive my sense of humor but I was "CrAcKiN uP" at (Time 2:42)
As you proceeded to the front door looking for your tour guy.
+Mr. Boegard You're right Mr. Boegard! BTW... what in the hell is your bench press max? If that's you in the avatar, your max should be over 400lbs.
I have always loved Buell since I first saw the xb9r when I was younger, I really hope this go around he's able to get his amazing product all the credit it deserves
they keep talking about the AX and a middleweight. but will take time and money to get to that point.
+Channing Kraemer Channing is exactly right. They mentioned this at the press launch and said they need to sell units and get revenue before launching more products. They're interested in middleweights for sure.
+Channing Kraemer thanks , I look forward to seeing what products are in the pipeline in Buells future
+650ib thanks for the response, can we expect to see a Buell in your stable anytime soon ?
+JGhost0812 LOL! They are only producing 5 of the red/white/blue special edition 1190RX and it's the one I want. They might be sold, we're waiting to see. Please stay tuned.
Back in 2014 at Phillip island I watch the WSKB These bikes drown the sound of the inlines 4s out. Plus they had a lovely whine.
I live here in Wisconsin and I was planning on attending that event and completely forgot about it!!!! Since you have made the trek to Wisconsin come on up north a little bit and do a track day at ROAD AMERICA you would absolutely love the track!
+Bigtymer38 I've heard GREAT things about Road America! I'd love to return and ride that track, maybe on a 1190RX.
+650ib I live 10 mins from the track lol definitely keep me in the loop if you decide to because I will be there! I would love to meet you and or do a track day with ya!
I hope EBR breaks out and does awesome !! Congrats EBR, leaps and bounds with great innovation. Would love to be a part of your sales team !!
Your comment has not aged well! I have an 1125R and hope the "new" EBR will survive. It's been tough.
He sounds like a passionate and inspiring guy. Those sort of people are who you want to make your stuff, not some business man sitting up in his office telling his subordinates to make something that will make him money.
+Moto Tayls Yup! Indeed.
true that man he looks like a good guy but i never heard of ebr till now lmao no one i kno talks bout them
Yeah Wisconsin!!! Go EBR!!!!!! Thanks 650ib!
You're welcome Jedi Master!
I have a new respect for you 650ib.
+John Green Thank you!
I believe that's well known author/writer David Egan in your video there....one of my favorites. Great job 650ib! I wish EBR success.
+Garey Cooper Yes, that was David Egan and I didn't know who he was until now. His article in Cycle World is great.
Jeez 650 it's 4yrs later & your still the definition of a Buellist.
Hey, honestly this would make a great track bike. All of your other bikes are to sexy to hit the track with all the time. This bike will be perfect for it.
+beeweezee718 I agree with you. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
+Okoang Baker Sorry, I didn't have a change to talk to him that day.
Love that EBR is back!
+Mk2Mike Me too!
He's done it all and I have so much respect for that man. That's the kind of person that makes America really shine.
+Tay I agree!
I'm gonna listen very carefully when you do your appraisal for the 1190!! Can't wait!!!!
+Lambert Hall Coming soon.
You need to add that patriotic model to the stable! Great vid!
+DC BIKER We'll see.
So when do you get yours?
+AjackLee4 LOL! I'm looking into it.
+650ib Sweet! I cannot wait for the V-Twin goodness!
Great vid 650, love we r getting back into the game. I'm kinda bummed though that they are only making 5 bikes with that paint theme. Would love to see OUR colors fly more on these bikes ya know. Anyway, thanks for the vid
+mark casserino Hi Mark, I agree that it's fantastic they're back in business. I also agree they should make more of the red/white/blue.
Liked the video. Did they reach out to you or did you reach out to them to attend the press conference?
Nice to see Peter Egan there (he is the guy that said touching the ground is over rated).
Mr Egan is a columnist that has written for Cycle World and Road and Track magazines. Big fan of his work.
+Ringding He's a cool dude and was very entertaining! His article about this event was nice too!
+650ib
I will have to look up his article, thanks!
+RareRider I will make a video with Erik explaining all of the technology in the 1190RX soon.
+650ib nice! I saw the retail price is only 14k that's nice! They previously were +20k I think which seemed too high for what they offered haha looking forward to your video buddy
I enjoyed riding that bike a little while ago, the front rotor vibration was my only real issue.
+oneonly xram Thanks man! I hope they've resolved that issue. I'm looking forward to my test ride soon.
I have been wondering what these guys were gonna do after the issues in 2015. I hope they can hold on and become more mainstream.
+ckryegrass11 I hope so too!
Thanks dude , I will definitely look in to it, and also when are the new video coming out for your 2016 h2 with new and all?
+Iffat Butt I'm picking up my H2 from Brock in April. He's working with Don Guhl to enable auto blipper and then it's all set. Just 2 more weeks.
+Nickolas927 Yup, Gregg's flush mounts would fit nicely on the 1190RX!
+650ib my brother congratulations on conquer another mile stone on you journey keep the awesome information and videos coming to us
+grullon76 76 You're welcome Luis! I'm looking forward to visiting you again soon!
Dude you are doing it Big super proud of you!!!!!
+R1 Kelly Thanks son! It's a fathers wish and dream to have his children show respect and admiration. Mission accomplished!
Ok sounds good, am looking forward to seeing it
The EBR has such potential it set the record time at Jennings with Nicolà Canepa It lapped within 200th of a second of the Panigale1199 .. Mark Miller really did some epic riding with Splitlath back in 2014 on IOMTT you have to watch the full lap of that video it's amazing
+Zone Television I can tell you that I prefer the 1190RX over my Panigale R just from a comfort point of view. I can't wait to ride it!
+650ib Sell the Duc by RX...MERICA!
+TheBakeryism I'm 13 steps ahead of you buddy. Lol. Stay tuned!
+650ib You are my hero!!
My brother just bought the SX and it is way better than the Buell's previously. It loves to be thrown around and the power is nuts.
l can't wait for the road test! it looks promising but will it hold up to other liter bike?
+hamed Cricket I'm looking forward to riding it and testing it against my bikes. Please stay tuned.
Possibilities of you getting one?? I really like the American one
+Brennan B We're looking into it. LOL! I LOVE the American flag bike too.
Looking forward to the test ride !
+N3wYorkKnicks Me too!
Very informative . Can't wait to see U ride that thing
+shayne m Thanks Shayne. I'm trying to arrange that now.
+Marlon Gordon Sjöberg Yes, that's correct. Please stay tuned for part 2 of this video on Saturday. The brakes are explained in detail.
you like the rsv4 even more then the h2 looking for something that Is comfortable for three to four hour rides but also will beat on most 1000s I live in upstate ny if thT holds any relevance
yo 650ib, ur doing a grt job as a motorcycle journalist too. grt job man.
+Shubhradeep Ghosh Thank you very much!!! More to come.
I could listen to Eric talk for hours on end
fantastic vid ib I didn't realise ebr got in financial trouble last year , can tell really Eric does love what they do.
+650ib hey bud can tell us how u got involved with the ebr media day
+Upunk I saw a post on their Facebook page and gathered the nerve to request attendance. They approved my request and my 20hr journey began. It was a long day. LOL!
+650ib man that's awesome totally worth it even just for the experience well done
Ib, awesome info and video. This bike reminds me more of a Benelli tornado for some reason than an rc8 .. Nevertheless it's a stunning beauty. Congrats on your new ride ;)
+JRDNGIXX Thank you! I see hints of Benelli too! More videos coming soon!
Mr. Erik Buell is to EBR as Elon Musk is to Tesla and Space X. These types of men are visionaries in modern day history. Just like Mr. Honda and Mr. Toyoda was back in the 1950's when they started Japan's motorcycles and automobiles.
+J Boy I agree with you J Boy.
Good Stuff ib .. Cant wait for the test ride comparison..
+Richard Casserly Thanks Richard! Road test review coming soon.
The 1190RS Carbon edition was the baddest sport bike ever made in my opinion. I know where there is one for sale.
$225.00 Really? That's just WAY too much money...
Replace it with another new one and tack weld it to the shaft (DONE).
Thanks Kenneth. I'm good with my EBR 1190RX ❤️
+650ib I think you should ask for one of the white ones, then do a trackday with it. It would have to be dropped off at Brock's first tho...😃
Great video ib! Don't listen to all the whiners and complainers. Can't please everyone! A motorcycle is a motorcycle whether it's the fastest or the slowest. Who cares if it's not better. It's USA made! 650ib is just showing variety!
+Casey King Thanks Casey! I love the 1190RX and if people have the opportunity to see it in person, they'd love it too!
Did you get a chance to test ride it?
+Richard Bibeault Not yet, will return to ride one soon.
+650ib I'm excited to see your opinion, especially if you ride both and compare the naked to the superduke
awesome vid, i would've bought one by now, i just want abs, any info on that coming on board the bikes soon?
+mark key I'm not sure if ABS is in their future plans. You can send a message to 'EBR' on Facebook and I'm sure they'll reply.
I want to ride that stars and stripes bike when you get it....I know you ordered one. That's a awesome machine.
+Daniel Williams LOL! If I get it, you will ride it...if I have to bring it to your private residence!
Very good video, thanks for the EBR info.
+Lonn Lawrence Thanks Lonn!
did you test ride ? lol what a fantastic video every video i watch its like winning the lotto your one very lucky lad keep up the great work all them bikes were fantastic i take home one of each if i had enough money
+Fast_N_Fearless The bikes weren't prepped for test rides that day. Please stay tuned, I'm returning to EBR to interview Erik and will test ride the bikes.
looking forward to your interview and test ride keep up the great work.
what is ur best bike overall h2 is not out of my range price wise what is ur thoughts on the zx14r
+tj mede The ZX14R is a nice bike. I test rode it and made a video review. I'm looking forward to riding the 1190RX and offering my opinion. Right now, the RSV4 RF is my favorite bike.ua-cam.com/video/Yw-f62pijtw/v-deo.html
looks like you've updated your camera gear haha awesome quality!
+GC8 Thank you! I'm using a stabilizing gimbal and recording in 1080 @60fps now. Thanks for noticing!!!
I hope they do well this time
+ARMONI555 I'm sure I'd prefer the 1190RX over my Panigale R. I didn't get to ride the 1190RX but the seating position was much better than the R.
+650ib interesting. on all accounts I hear about they are really good bikes. try to get a test ride and give us a review 650. I'd be really interested in the results
Well Done ib &
Great Share !!!
;)
Cool to be the fly on the wall POV hearing Eric tell the stories !!!
(Xram demoed a '15 on my Channel ;)
+Dracati Ducati Thanks man and thanks for the link to Xram's video.
Let me guess Ib you're buying one of these too huh? Lol
+Necho Hopkins no shiet haha.. I was about to say that
+Necho Hopkins If he does this will get boring after a while... Peace
+Necho Hopkins I'm strongly considering it.
650ib just buy it already...u buying it is the closest I ll get to buying it for the next couple of years. so do it for the fans.
+650ib how much is it?
will the rsv4 beat the h2 WhT is the difference in rsv4 models and what is the fastest common 1000 and is the zx14r really any faster than the zx10r srry for all the questions but ur the only motovlogers opinion I trust especially when it comes to spending up to 25 thousand plus dollars
+hzuiel They lowered the price of the RX to $13,995
650ib That is good, but I still think it would be good for them to have some other offerings.
+Teddy Wiezack I'm looking into getting a 1190RX Teddy. Please stay tuned.
+650ib Yee!! That's so dope!! I was looking through a few magazines and reviews last night. The 1190RX has a lot of great reviews. which color? The grey and red looks hype. word!
+Teddy Wiezack I love the red/white/blue special edition. We'll see what happens.
GREAT VIDEO MAN!
Well 650ib it looks like it's about that time for you to sell your R1 bro... So you can get one of those limited edition 1190RX Stars&Stripes !!!! Just let ur boy "R1Kelly" be the R1 King up north there Lol
+K Reems LOL! I love my R1M but would also love to own the stars and stripes 1190RX. Time will tell...
Hey 650 did they change much on the 1190 from before the BK or is it the same bike?
+1997TL1000 Same bike.
+650ib Thanks bro! Thought so, picking one up myself. You got the other bike I want already the RSV4 RF those are so nice congrats on the puck up!
+1997TL1000 Nice man! When are you taking delivery?
+650ib As soon as possible, they have some here in town, left overs from before the BK they also sell Aprilla, Triumph, MV Augusta, Moto Guzzi and Ducks! It's motorcycle bliss! I was worried that EBR was gone for good, and didn't want to grab one with zero parts support.
I'll keep up posted and through up a video once I have it in my grubby little hands!
