@@christophersheldon7088 honestly, from the first version, I loved the 2019 Gravity Tour, and wished they would release that again in 16x20 string pattern…I think that would be a home run…but I’ve since customized my MP and prefer that over all the other Gravity’s so far👍
Hi I'm 55 years old from Capetown I used dunlop since 10 years but since I have aged injuries came from dunlops stiff frames... Im currently using my son's gravity mp lite it change my game completely enjoying it very much with no injuries
This is my new stick (2021 version) from a V6 Wilson blade before that. Is a massive upgrade for me. I am string 55 pounds but may try dialing it down in future. Its improved my ground strokes and serve a lot
Such a solid stick…and yes, agree with the upgrade from the blade…just more freedom and action compared to the blade 💪💪 And good idea slowly lowering tension over time 👊
What stuck with me from the reviews I've watched so far is apparently the SWEET SPOT is higher up on the Gravity than on other racquets, so more towards the tip of the stringbed. I have noticed that I hit a lot of balls higher up on the stringbed than I want or aim for. SO the Gravity might be a good match for my technique inadequacy.
Hitting high in the string bed is not a technical inadequacy.. Most modern players including pros hit higher in the string bed. This is common among high spin rate players
Yea it’s a wider and bigger sweet spot imo, so sometimes you feel like you hit it perfect but the ball will just fly more…I don’t mind it though since I like some added action 👍 overall very nice stick 👌
@@chrisconformed That actually makes me feel better. I always thought the middle of the stringbed was the sweet spot / place to aim for (horizontally AND vertically). Thanks very much!
I have the original Gravity pro and I love it. Great control, decent power, heavy stability, soft touch. A little tough to generate spin with the dense string pattern, but I am a flatter hitter anyway.
Auxetic help for comfort ? I was in love with Gravity Tour 2021, perfect for my game. But sometimes a bite a of pain to my wrist 😢 So i was playing more with VcorePro100 (strung mono Ltec Paradox 19 kgs)
I think the reason that head put auxetic in the gravity line last is that because of the thinner beams and the lower flex, the auxetic only gives minor improvements to the gravity line. I have the gravity mp auxetic since late in oktober and the auxetic version of the gravity mp feels just a tad more solid. I think it does the most for the stiffer frames like the radical. I haven't played with the radical 360+, but i have with the 360 and that felt like a wooden board. The auxetic version is still very direct, but actually i like it this time. Better feel.
@@KiboTennis i know, and on the pro version tennisnerd confirmed that it was a very small nuances difference. Only the pro 18x20 prestige has a low ra. But the tour, mp and mp L have ra of 65 and 66. On top of that the prestige has a skinnier oval shaped hoop, so maybe the auxetic also helps a bit more with feel on the smaller sweet spot with off center hits. I'm just guessing here.
U mentioned about putting soft string in the mains for a hybrid setup. What would be ur go to tension for the mains and crosses for a prestige pro auxetic? I'm think of putting x-one biphase in the mains and ice code in the crosses but not sure about the tension. Thank you love ur video.
Good question. We string all of our rackets on a Wilson baiardo and it does string tight compared to a crank machine etc. Full bed poly I like around that 42-44lbs range. For a hybrid in the gravity pro for example, I did one back in the day with Multi on mains at 52, and poly on crosses at 50lbs. So I go up on both strings since they will lose a bit more tension quicker. I do believe players in general will have too tight of a string job and will eventually force their swing speed and power instead of using cleaner technique and feel.
Thanks for this video! I've been using the 2021 for a little over a year and love it. I can take huge rips and the ball rarely flies away on me. I just got the 2023, and while the feel is improved, I find it has a lot more power, and the balls fly so far, they need a stewardess! Both are strung with poly mains and multi crosses at 50lbs. Any advice on how I can dial down the power on the 2023? Full ploy at 55lbs? Or would that be too dramatic a change? THANKS!!!
You’re welcome, and thanks for the comment. I would keep your current string setup and string it at 55 to 57 lbs, and see how you like that. If that doesn’t work, then yes try full poly, but don’t string too tight, that can be hard on the elbow/wrist. Lmk how it goes 👊
@@tennisviking Awesome! Thanks for the tip. My elbow is already a little twingy, but my blue TheraBand works wonders! 🙂 I switched from a Pure Drive because it was too much power and going to 55lb with a full bed of RPM Blast still didn't bring down the power enough. I suspect I won't have the same issue with the Gravity Pro.
Definitely not too firm of a poly because of the very dense string pattern. Alu Power Soft is one of my favs, it’s a bit softer than the Hawk Power and still has nice pop to it👍
Hello and thanks for the first online video related to the new Gravity Pro. I couldn't figure it out from the review: does this new version guarantee more ball entry into the stringbed than the previous one?
Thanks, they are very similar, with the new one being slightly more stiff….I mean slightly, so just a little more stability when making contact with the ball…string patterns and placement on strings are identical, so you’ll just get that little more stable feeling from the new one….if you like going for your shots, and like being in charge of the points, swinging full out, you’ll like this.
Thank you! Good question...I would say a bit more spin on the PS X, and more control on the GP...I feel like I can swing faster with the GP though. Its definitely worth a video to compare the two!
Question about the paintjob: does it feel matte or glossy? Matters a lot especially on my one-handed backhand. The Boom Pro's green paint felt quite cheaply made.
Man that TFight 305 is awesome, I would give the edge to the TFight on clay, you just get a bit more action and rip on the ball…I’ll be playing on clay this summer, so looking forward to that, by far my favorite surface 👍

I like them strung loose in general. I don’t have rapid fire swing speed so the looser tension gives a little more drive. Also the pro is very dense string pattern, which gives a lot of control, so again the needed power from the stringing tension is great. Lastly, we string all of our rackets on a Wilson baiardo used at the us open, it seems to be stringing quite tight. I think you should string as low as possible while still being able to control it under pressure.
Great question. The G. Pro will have a bit more flex and action imo, especially on the stretch . The blade is more stable but lack some punch, unless you can generate power and drive on your own non stop (I can’t 😬😟), so I prefer the G Pro over the blade.
