Two ATT sponsored pro's review the brand new Head Gravity 2023 range. They test the Pro, Tour and MP models and pick their favourite.
We're trialing a new review format this week, we're trying to get a more authentic reaction from our players as they begin to hit by interviewing them on the court. Let us know what you think in the comments!

All rackets strung with HEAD Lynx Tour (Black 1.25mm) at 54 lbs. Let us know what you think of the new format - bear in mind, it's our first go at it! 😆
Solid format, good review guys and it’s a sexy looking stick..
@@TomSmith-il6pz You're the man cheers!
The way he asked the questions shaped the players answers.
Thought the same thing
Are you suggesting he manipulated the review ha ha :)
Thanks for the feedback - We always try to stay impartial but we will look out for that.
Too much pretext to his questioning. Better to ask a simple question first and follow up with his own opinions/facts about the racquet.
Overall a good review guide and review ultimately you have to demo.
My biggest challenge is to get any response from ATT. Emails, phone calls, FB, Insta and even WhatsApp never get answered.
If they offer to give Swing Weight, Balance and Weight on each racquet etc when buying pairs it will really help.
Great review!!! And very good questions.
Very informative video. Thanks very much. To me the major update is the paintjob. I am actually considering this one, now.
Very insightful. Maybe let the testers talk more
Oh yes!! The nice lady again!! Thank u❤
I really enjoyed the review format. I agree with other comments that some of the questions were a little leading, but that’s ok, like you said this is the first time out with this format. My view is stick with it.
Seems to be a good stick! Is there going to be a 325/335 gram version for better stability, (like the Prestige Tour /Pro Tour)?
Thanks for the great content. Nice format - really nice to hear the feedback from pros. Personally preferred format where compared / pitted different racquets to arrive at two finalists.
Yep, we will continue to do those. But will review rackets individually too
@@allthingstennis Great! Keep up the good work, thanks.
@@allthingstennis would you consider the gravity tour as a hybrid between ezone 98 and blade 98 in terms of spin, control, and power
I have a Wilson ncode pro open, which racquet would be a good equivalent/replacement?
Will the tour version be suitable for one-handed backhand?
The new format is nice.
Michelle is nice.
I would like to ask for your advice. I would like to buy a new racket as I unfortunately broke my old one (Gravity Pro 1st generation). I am looking for a racket that is similar to the Gravity Pro, but if possible minimally lighter (when a game goes on for more than 2 hours I sometimes notice slight fatigue.) and gives a little more "feedback". For me, the GP always felt a bit too "muffled".
My previous racquets:
About 15 years ago I started with an old Fischer racket of my father from the early 90s.
My first own racket was a TopSpin x95 I loved the direct feel with it. I could control the balls well with it.
Babolat Pure Strike 16/19 3rd Gen. I didn't get on with it and sold it after 3 months. Couldn't control my shots with it.
Head Gravity Pro: I immediately played better with it. However, I never liked this "dead" feeling. Nevertheless, I've been playing it for almost 4 years.
To sum up again:
So I'm looking for a racket that is as similar as possible to the Gravity in terms of the "result", but if possible slightly lighter and a little more feedback.
Sorry that I can't describe it in more detail, but I don't know anything about rackets. That's why I'm asking for your help and I'd like to thank you in advance. (Sorry also for my bad English)
One more thing about my game. I am 1.91 m tall and weigh 108 kg. So I'm not particularly agile but still quite strong... I would describe my technique as very good, although not perfect. I have a strong first serve, but it's not consistent enough. I go to the net rather averagely often. I play a one-handed backhand and slice very often.
I'll just name everything I can think of, maybe it will help to better assess me. Once again, thank you very much.
Will you guys review the Wilson Shift 300???
I just got this and it just might be the best raquet I have ever tried. For my game, it’s perfect. It has everything I could ever want. Solid, yet buttery soft. And even though it has. 330 sw, it does not feel like it. I’m in love.
which one did you get?
@@15284750pro, got 2 of them!
@@15284750the Pro. I got 2 of them.
I just bought the previous version of the Gravity Pro taking advantage of the current sale price. It felt a bit "weak" without customization, kind of unstable also, but after adding 4 grams @ 12 o'clock and 3 grams at 3 and 9 o'clock it felt amazing.
Jesus dude that's quite the swingweight monster you got there now 😅
@Cryptomás Wonder what the swing weight is right now. I might keep testing different weights to see the minimum needed for a good feel. I just put whatever I had on hand that day. Does feel good though.
Michelle, the racket for you is a prince tour 100p
A good way to describe the GP: it’s like a Ferrari, when you put pedal to the medal that’s when it shines. The faster you swing, the more the raquet gives you. Facts.
Hey. What about the Gravity team??
Good news that the tour will be available in the UK, you can't get it in all markets
good format but please can you invest in microphones, like rode video mic or the dji ones
I use the old 2016 radical XT MP at 295g and even have some 260g radical MP/Lite/Rev models which are obviously way to light but im able to hit this hard and serve at a comfortable 120mph. Would you guys reccomend me to go up to 315 or something along those lines because if i play 2-3 days in a row my tennis elbow will start to act up.
Try adding some lead or tungsten tape to your taste. You'll be surprised by what a few, well placed grams can do.
How does it compare to ezone 98?
I love the original pro. I'm going to buy a second and maybe a third while I still can.
👍
Gravity is about the thinnest frame on the market. I wish Wilson would bring back the PS 97s
Could you break down a bit more comfort/control/power between pro staff v14 97/X, the blade 98 18x20 and the gravity tour/pro? Would you say the Tour is the winner in most of these categories?
Edit: maybe to clarify, I'm coming from a v7 18x20 and I wish I had a bit more control without sacrificing too much power. Wondering if the gravity/staff/prestige lineup would be worth trying. I really didn't gel with the speed pro, was too slow through the air, too thick of a beam.
i usually use a pro staff 97, comfort of gravity pro was on another level. No harshness on the arm, felt so plush. I couldnt miss, just took some adjustment in hitting due to the string pattern. I also wasnt that impressed with the speed pro
@@samster978 Cheers my friend!
Would be interested in seeing how he weighed up his Blade 98 (3 & 9, 10 & 2 or 12)?
3 + 9 and under the handle
Good video format generally, just think the questions were quite leading at times
Nice Video, think it works better this way. Also, do you have these new Head Hawk Power strings yet?
Not yet - we are looking for people to review with us when they arrive in next week
@@allthingstennis Good stuff, getting rave reviews across the pond
I'm a simple man- I see a beautiful woman testing the new version of my favorite racquet line and I click, then like and ultimately buy a couple with a ref link if there is one. 😊
Taylor Fritz plays with 299 grams...kmon man, 295, 300 is the weight for almost every club player...I use to play with prestiges, old speeds at 315, 320 grams...and really love them, but, you have to be able to swing them for 2 hours...
Yeah fully agree the mp will be very popular at 295 with club players - for these players they wanted more weight
How does it compare it with Speed MP and pro auxetic?
Gravity has a softer feel, denser string patterns offer more control. I'd say the speed offers more power and topspin generation
@@allthingstennismy thought exactly
@@allthingstennis which one would you Say is more stable ?
I want the pro with the 16x19
Maybe Radical Pro is for you?
Agreed I have to use a 17g or lighter to get adequate spin.
@@allthingstennisI have to agree with OP- with 16x19 it'd be perfect replacement for my worn out old radical microgel pro 100s- gravity is essentially the same mold with the teardrop shape and wider upper hoop that I got so used to- new radicals are much narrower and when you add 98 head size, it becomes much smaller relatively.
Shes a natural beauty ❤
0:03 profesional atp forehand.
will you be doing a test on Wilson Shift with a comparison to other racquets?
Yes on the horizon!
@@allthingstennis great!
Shame they dont have the tour in the US, only MP and PRO
Dang, I heard that might be a possibility- that's confirmed then?
@@tdubbs684 Yeah, MP and PRO only
Love michele
👌
🎾🎾
how can us normal players do demos. ur shop is too far from me and shops near me dont do them. can u send them to us?
Yes we can send them out via DPD. These will be out in April
she couldnt answer the questions...dude, you ask and force the answer...I think she was ok with the mp, you just didnt allowed her, jajajaa
We didn't just hit for 13 mins 😁 over time she felt the mp was to light - I agree with her!
Bro wants to look like the gravity tour is gonna be his boyfriend no?
The woman is not a good model imo, she likes too many racquet. For ex. I hit with ezone 98 twice, don't like it both times, that makes thing super easy, I just won't pick similar racquet
Michelle is really cute
Dude what is so secret in that facility that you have to blur out different things and different people??.. You even blurred out something on her neck. Wtf??
