LINx린 I used just a normal sewing type needle for my nose, lip, and ears. And for my belly button I did the same. I marked the top and bottom hole and pushed the needle through. But I accidentally used too small of a needle and had to go back through with a bigger one!!! Not going to lie, that one hurt! The others didn’t hurt at all. Surprisingly none got infected. I took very good after care of them all. And still have all to this day nearly 10 years later (I’m 23 now). Although I don’t wear the lip ring anymore. Hahaa

I pierced my septum myself but I used a real piercing needle and septum jewlery I wouldn't recommend piercing with a safety pin because of infection and you cant thread the jewlery through. Love your piercing content :)
I used a safety pin when I pierced my own lip when I was 16, don't recommend it lol. I'd highly recommend to use an actual piercing needle if your gonna pierce anything. Lip rings are bigger than a safety pin so when I tried to put a lip ring in I basically had to stretch the hole so it'd go in. All piercings are different in sizes so it's always best to do a bunch of research before doing it. I give you props for piercing your own nose, I want one but could never do that one myself. To me piercing my own lip is a whole lot easier. But to anyone wanting to pierce something theirselves just make sure to do research and just be safe bc there's risks doing anything like that.
make sure you don’t change it until it’s fully healed :) the time that i kept mine in was for around 5 weeks, but it’s totally different for everyone else :)

i haven’t pierced my own nose before but i’ve definitely felt that same frustration and panic when my jewellery wouldn’t go back in 😭 it took a lot more force than i expected
I pierced my nose a few weeks ago and I’m 12. It didn’t hurt, it only stung when it went through all the way. I didn’t tell my parents and I pierced it with an earring. The recovery kinda hurt, it was sore and i could hardly move my nose. I clean my nose with rubbing alcohol every day, and deep clean it with non izodize sea salt 2-3 times a week. My nose is now not in pain but I DONT recommend piercing it urself if u see this comment. My nose got infected shortly after piercing it. If it gets infected (ik this isn’t recommended) mix hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol and use that for a few days. Don’t shower with ur nose ring in.

For me when I pierced my nose the actual piercing didn't hurt at all but trying to push the needle through enough where I could start putting the jewelry in was when it got painful.

whenever you take out the needle or stud from a fresh piercing the hole will close rather quickly so that's probably why you were having a hard time
And because a safety pin is a lot smaller in size than a normal nose stud. A good nose stud/barbell should be 1.2mm. A safety pin is like 0.8 mm.

I want to do it but just need alcohol to clean the bacteria. When you push your needle or pin in don't pull it out because the hole will slowly close
