My normal tounge piercing was absolutely fine, didn’t hurt whilst it was happening and literally had no difference or anything after. However, my snake eyes fucking killed, I couldn’t talk or eat for 3 weeks. Everyone and their body is different so don’t let people’s experience scare you

If you try this again with anything else definitely recommend putting some vaseline on the needle to make the process smoother.
Honey, this could have been seriously bad! This is the kinda piercing you definitely need to get done professionally. You could have pierced through a vein or nerve. The tongue is very sensitive with tons of nerve endings and veins, if you pierced through them you could lose a lot of blood! Please be careful with self piercings and make sure to clean it!

They’ve now gotten over it although I can not get any other piercings til I’m 18 but I am extremely happy with it it is placed correctly healed fine and looks great. So happy you were safe but I don’t recommend doing it at home to anyone you can literally die. It looks great I’m happy your happy with it!!

Friendly tip: Always keep a spare barbell with you. Tongue piercings close up really fast so it's good to have a back up with you in case you swallow or break the current one.
