German cannon can even Pen the upper plate %90 of the time if upper plate is looking at them without angle.

CUPOLA. If u see any new tank (you've not seen before), cupola shot is 99% guaranteed to kill turrt crew.
As the IS-1 has 3/4 members in turret. Cupola shot = 1 shot kill

best way to destroy jumbo: Use Stuer Emil
definitely one of favourite tanks, 128mm gun with armour piercing rounds that have 248mm pen at 4.3, and lets not forget its gun depression, more depressed than an emo girl

@@liamboyle9199 that's only if it's out in the open, the sturer Emil has some excellent gun depression, that it can be on a hill but on the slope where the tank is angled upwards, but the gun level and pointed towards the battlefield
the Waffle tractor is a good option aswell
Its easy to kill it when you are in close distance, but its pointless when fighting in long range since it will depend on your luck.
If you find yourself facing it from a distance, ignore it. When you get a bit closer you can destroy it.
not like the jumbo can even fight at long ranges anyways

As a jumbo Player, you can also shoot the front sprocket
Shooting the corner of the ufp also does it
The proof that americans have reverse volumetric, the overlap of 3 plates resulting in 300mm of armor gets penetrated by things that couldnt pen any of those plates by itself
You can shoot the edge of the ufp-side armour and it kills the whole crew and detonates the ammo
a well placed HE right under the mantlet will splash into the thin deck plates every now and then, works in a pinch if you're somehow lugging 120mm and above HE shell.

You’d be very surprised how many people don’t know where to shoot a Jumbo. Still probably my favorite tank to relax in right after the T-95 (don’t judge me)

The turret also has a finicky frontal shot trap at the bottom left and right edges, makes the round bounce downwards into the turret ring causing spall back into the hull
Another one is if you have a slight high ground advantage, you can basically shoot the top frontal hull and is more reliable than the shot trap (not the ufp, literally the hull top)
I love using the jumbo and fighting three to four tigers who are despretly trying to kill me

jumbo pershing was extremely sad when they heard about this, T-30 was sad too.
The cupola and MG port work on the Pz.IV 75mm and the machine gun port can even be used by this same gun to kill all Pershing types with a machine gun port in the hull, generally one shotting
area above the tracks on both sides is susceptible to 88s and Panthers and anything larger too
Its quite simple once you've got the trick;
-With a Tiger, your best shots as either the track if they angle so slightly, the machine gun port or the neck (bit tricky tho)
-With a panther: track if they angle works but the funniest for me is just to shoot the very upper part of the hull right under the neck. Insta one shot even with this damn sharpnel lacking shell. However don't shoot if its not a somewhat flat terrain or they angle
In a long range fight I'd suggest you don't try for the reasons that you won't pen them and they won't be able to pen you in either tank, unless its a 76.
the cupola one doesnt work due to volumetric, so MG port and side is best, or if ur using tiger 2 just shoot its upper frontal armor
A funny thing I learned is that if he is angled a bit, you can hit the track and it will ricochet into the weak side armour.
Coming back into this game after a long time, this is kinda helpful I'm back to 4.7 in 5 nations again. . . Ps I gave up for years because I was forced to restart all progression
I use bushes or signs to cover up the weak points on the front to try and make other uses rely on memory on where to hit
I main italy and i point on weak spots. The only place where you can put bushes is your ass and roof, so you can counter CAS.
I killed one the other day with a zis-30 by hitting the underside of barrel and it went straight down into crew compartment 🤟
for the capolar shot you need "prime" the aphe by hitting that front vision port or you will go straight
through without the shell fusing
step 1 get italian lunchbox.
step 2 go cart yourself to the sides of the jumbo.
step 3 shoot between tracks.

What round is that with? Because if you’re using regular AP I don’t think that cupola shot is nearly as good
This is why i always try to bring an he launcher or a tank with high angle pin, i hate thejumbo since it has a sstablizer it can blitz around corners you can not do much when on console due to how inaccurate it is to aim

Those tips seem like they would be very inconsistent in battle, like there is little chance to hit the capola directly without overpenning or scraping the turret roof and non penning

I simply use the Ikv 103 with HEAT-FS and front pen it. That is if there is no fences and poles in the way.
PS: that thing got 400mm pen in all distances xD

I with my Jagdtiger can shoot anywhere with at the Jumbo because the Jagdtiger can penetrate any area without any problem

If you are using a panther and close enough to a jumbo, you can penetrate the mantlet. Trust me, I've done it
That one shot shouldn’t really work though because volumetric same with the shot underneath the gun mantle

I think it's because if you kill it in one-shot you get rid of a threat that could kill you, even if you take out the gunner the threat still isnt gone. for all yo know you could miss all your following shots and get taken out by the replacement gunner

Use the german upgunned 88 you than upper front plate jumbos which is major disrespect . Jumbo is easy go pick up and play which in turn makes its brainless to play same as the kv1 .

OR JUST USE A LATE COLD WAR SPG. Because Gaijin, knowing that most of it's players EXCLUSIVELY PLAY WW2 thinks it's a great idea to put current artillery pieces and early ATGM-launchers in the mix. There should be a cut-off, Jan. 1st 1946. 3 categories based on that: pre-1946, post-1946 and mixed, a.k.a if you choose to put cold war tanks in your line-up, you'll be fighting others with a mixed line-up.
