I enjoyed and learned the more details of the variety of circles- Watching you makes the circles shows us more how to use with more details and colors- i,e, thickness, direction and how to start in the middle, etc. . I tried embroidery 🪡 last week and it wasn’t pretty, not as easy as it looks , it might be my needle 🪡 so ordered some special ones on Amazon. Love ❤️ your work .
I was working on cotton dress fabric maybe 🤔 that’s an issue .
It takes practice Soul like anything worth doing, so don't be hard on yourself! Cotton fabric is good to use, but yes make sure you have good quality needles; we have good ones in the shop on our website here: www.sarahhomfray.com/myshop/cat_264747-Embroidery-Equipment.html.
You also need to make sure you use the right needle size for the thread you are using so check out our video on that here:

Sarah, your videos are wonderful + I'm learning SO much! I was wondering what you use to trace your circles to begin with? Do you draw them freehand? I'm a bit of a disaster when it comes to drawing for my embroidery (especially circles!). Any ideas?
Try a compass or a circle template Patty! The prick and pounce method is very accurate

I didn't use a stranded thread in this video Eve, I used a Madeira Lana which is a twisted wool/ blend fibre
