Marion, this is just so special. I never imagined that embroidery coud so beautifully create nature. As a painter, I believe this surpasses anything paint can do. Thank you so much for all the time you give us. It's just so darned enjoyable learning from you.
Ann that's so lovely of you to say...but it's not comparable really. Paint can do so much..a few strokes with a brush can evoke such emotion .. All art is hopefully a joy to whoever is creating it.... That other people like it to is a true bonus ☺️💐🌿🌼🧵🪡
Marion, this needlework page is turning out stunningly beautiful, and has given me new ways to go back and add into my crazy quilt. I am really excited about the work you are showing in this overall project. I have been going to my local thrift shop and buying up old table - clothes, and tucking them away for a big project down the road of time, because of all you have taught me. I can't thank you enough!
This was so magical, I am sure I saw a flower fairy flitting in Marion's Meadowland. Such a lovely sun kissed meadow where all is peaceful rest. The birds sing happy songs and the butterflies abound. What a joy to see your meadow grow before our very eyes. Thank you Marion, this was so delightful it made my day. 😊❤
I finally got my page done, it took me twice as long as you but I'm pretty proud of it. I've learned so much following you and I thank you. Looking forward to the next page.
Wow! I love this page. With each new page I think, "This is my favorite." But truly they are all beautiful. Can they all be favorites? Yes they can!!! Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hi Marion your little field of flowers is looking beautiful! I loved how you worked with the fabric and based your decisions on that and I love the fact that you just go with the flow. Thank You for sharing.
It's called not planning!😅 It can be quite freeing to just trust in your own self and let your needle and thread go where it wants to... I didn't know my page would turn out like this when I started it. I just had a loose idea and wanted to show certain things ☺️
Hi Marion! Wow this stitch page is absolutely beautiful! Your creative vision comes to life! Thank you for another wonderful video! Have a wonderful day!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another beautiful piece of fiber art complete! Thank you for showing us that we don't need to stitch a perfect representation of each flower to get the overall effect of them. I often plan to the point of having perfection paralysis where I can't even get started, so it is good for me to watch you create something so lovely in a more organic way. As always, I am looking forward to seeing what you will do with your next page.
I can definitely understand planning paralysis... It gets us all sometimes. That's why I just say pick up your needle and just start. By starting somewhere, anywhere, you've broken that thought and you can start moving forward. Then you can plan as you stitch because the ideas will arrive...💐
Beautiful. Looking forward to adding the extra to mine at the weekend after visit to festival of quilts. I am really enjoying stitching along with you and learning from you. Thank you so much ❤
Another enjoyable session with you stitching and speaking to us in your special voice which lulls in peace. I could listen to you speak all day. This is a masterpiece. I feel I could close my eyes and step into this piece...that's the fantasy ✨️ 🎶 of your pieces. Fabric and thread become magical in your hands💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I've really enjoyed bringing it together... I'm happy I didn't go with the extra flower in the middle. It just means I have to work that particular stitch into another page instead..☺️🪡🧵
I truly learn something EVERY TIME you post a video! Thank you for that. I am stitching along, but am way behind. That's OK with me. Trying to just take my time, enjoy the process, and do your design ideas justice. See you next time.😊
I'm so happy you're enjoying it... You stitch at your own pace and just carry on making it your own... I hope I'm helping you with your own creative process too ☺️🪡🧵
You never cease to amaze me with your beautiful and original creations🤗. I absolutly love your work - I had never dreamt that needle work could look like this. It is so inspiring to watch your process, and makes me want to let my imagination “run wild” and just create what comes to mind. Yours is the result of so many years of experience, but never the less, I want to try to make something beautiful too. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and process🌷🌸🌺🫶🏻🥰
Yes Lizette! This is exactly what I hoped to do... It doesn't matter whether you have years of experience..or just started yesterday... The whole point is just to realise that you can start with something simple and by just keeping going, adding other simple things, you can achieve beautiful work. It doesn't have to look like mine...or anyone else's... It just has to be your own. And the more you practice letting go and just letting your brain relax into it...the more you'll find your own style... ☺️👍🪡🧵💐
Marion, your meadow is a wonderland! I wish I could shrink myself and nap under a dandelion leaf. I'm behind in my stitch journal, but I might have to skip ahead and do this page next! Thank you for another inspiring video.

It's all about layering up Ella. Starting simply and then choosing to add extra things. You can then stop at any point and say it's done.. Some people might carry on until it's heavily covered in stitches and some won't. It's your choice when enough is perfect for you.
I'm trying to keep up with you ❤ I love how this field of wildflowers is coming together ❤ I feel it needs a special border or frame 🤗. What would you suggest? Absolutely lovely ❤. Thank you, Marion ❤
Oh if you are wanting to frame it as a standalone piece of work I'd probably go with something very simple. Nothing to detract from all of the stitching you've done.
Marion, at first I was thinking of blanket stitching all around the edges in the same green and blue and brown threads as what is I've used in the foreground, or the stitch we used for making the wreath. Definitely want something simple and neutral so as not to draw the eye away from the beautiful wildflowers 🤗. I really like the dandelions, and the whole process has been so enjoyable. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us 🤗💞

Thank you Marion for your video. Your landscape is beautiful. I really feel encouraged to add to my tiny A5 kit some Campion and daisies in the foreground to give the piece depth. Your sessions have also helped me to take the plunge and tackle a larger piece with my own design . If it turns out half as good as yours I shall be more than happy. I have also treated myself to a book on British wildflowers as I want to be as true to actual flowers as I can.
