Castelobrxo is in Brazil with a very warm humid climate. This may explain why Severus Snape was able to modify the potions instructions and get better results. His changes compensated for the different climate and ingredients grown in Brazil which would have somewhat different properties. That's a good theory.

I think what a lot of people are saying is that, the school for South America is located in Brazil the country where they don’t speak Spanish, like the majority people living in South America, and probably Central America too, are Spanish speaking people, I mean there’s nothing wrong with it, it just doesn’t make sense.
In another video someone said that it's not a "Portuguese Speaking school" its bilingual! Just because it's situated in Brazil it doesn't mean you need to speak Portuguese this school was intended for South American countries Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Guyana, Guiana, Suriname, Falkland Island. Haven't you people realized that most schools are place in every continent to connect the countries of those continents. I don't know about the Middle East Central America or Australia but there are schools for everyone! So stop with the dumb arguments
The Falkland islands are British, so people could use portals/floo network/disapparate and go to Hogwarts. Likewise for the French Guiana being an integral part of France, therefore Beauxbatons. Guyana and Suriname would be the exceptions by speaking English and Dutch. So I wouldn't know what they would do. :p

Severus Snape. He was such an interesting character. He is so complex, intelligent, brave, cunning and magically talented but he was misunderstood and negatively judged by others but despite all that he still managed to save the son of the love of his life and sacrificed for him even though Harry tried to get rid of him since day one, he tried his best and eventually died for Harry even though he is also the offspring of James Potter, a human he hated for bullying him and embarrassing him in public.

Yeah, he did crucial things to muggleborns, but don't forget that he actually wasn't a racist, he loved a muggleborn girl and he didn't care what she was when he met her. He grew up in a bad home and Lily was the only light he'd ever known. He is not a nice person, but he is probably the character who loved someone the most. And as we know love is the only power Voldemort has never known which shows Snape actually being a better guy than we think. Not a nice guy though, a really bitter person actually but that's because he lost the only good person in his life. He's a really complex and interesting character and that's why many people like him.
Freya Swings this is the same as me but also Evanna lynch and her story on anorexia helped me a lot and I love how different yet natural she is and she is the only on screen character I can Connect properly with also Evanna is perfect to play her and she's such a cool person and she's vegan (I'm vegetarian and want to be vegan);)
I relate to Luna a lot, I always got teased and bullied because I was autistic and “different” but managed to stay strong and get through it with only a teeny tiny bit of depression and self harm

Well,it's quite hard to choose just one character,they are all amazing in their own way but I have to say that Harry and Dumbledore are two wonderful complex characters. I love Harry's selflessness ,his desire to understand and help others and his huge loving heart. I love Dumbledore because he's a man who chose his own way,who worked on improving himself and his heart,refused to be bad, most importantly he gained his wisdom from his mistakes which to me makes him one of the greatest characters. He gives me hope that you can always change your ways and you can choose your way.

According to wiki Spanish and Portuguese are pretty evenly spoken on the continent, about 200 million speakers each, not including the Caribbean and central America. But Hispanics aren't just going to wake up one day and learn Portuguese to attend a magic school. There may have to be two schools of magic in Latin America.

My favorite character has to be either Sirius Black or Remus Lupin. They are both very interesting and very different ways: one is loud, really handsome and smart but also super self-distructive and hot-headed while the other one is more quite, self-conscious and very caring and supportive of the people close to him, but is also very closed off and selfless. Over all both their personalities have so many layers to them and that is why they are my fav characters. :3
Snape. Fueled by the love he had for Lily he turned away from the death eaters, did all he could to protect harry and was a spectacular double agent, bamboozling the greatest dark wizard of all time. Finding out Snape was a good guy was the surprise of the series.

He'd also make my day whenever I was sad and it's such a shame that Fred died, George was never the same after his death. 4)Ginny Weasley. For me, I think that if Ginny existed, she would be my best friend. She's just so cool and she grew up to become a powerful witch.

I'm from Chile (South America) and it sounds kind of weird for me the fact that there's only one magical school in that part of the continent because of the following reasons: number one; most of the countries of South America (including mine) speak Spanish, being Brazil the only one that speaks Portuguese, so I'm curious of which would be the official language in that school. Number two; there's a wide and varied ecosystem in South America, from the Amazons jungle, to the driest dessert in the world (the Atacama Dessert, Chile) to the Patagonia (Chile and Argentina), to name a few, so the question is if the studies would be only focused in the flora and fauna in which the school is located (the amazons)? Number three; how would the sorting work? Taking into consideration the fact that the school accepts students from all over South America. Thank you! Love your videos!

Ilvermorny is the one which accepting North American students, including Canada, not every country has its school of magic. Each school of magic is responsible accepting students for a continent, not a country
Durmstrang Institute accpets students from Scandinavia; northernmost reaches of either Norway or Sweden, they're accepting international students, but presumably mainly northern Europe

1)Fred Weasley. Fred will always have a part in my heart. He was always so cute, sweet and funny. When I was down I knew that by watching him would make my day and when he died I got really sad, almost depressed.
2)Hermione Granger. Let's just admit it,Hermione is flawless and without her I think that Harry Potter wouldn't be the same. She is strong,smart,bookish, friendly, loyal and always follows the logic side.
3)George Weasley. Even though I prefer Fred, George is a very cool guy. He'd also make my day whenever I was sad and it's such a shame that Fred died, George was never the same after his death.
4)Ginny Weasley. For me, I think that if Ginny existed, she would be my best friend. She's just so cool and she grew up to become a powerful witch.
Luna Lovegood because she is kind, intelligent, weird, and a good friend

I'm from Chile (South America) and it sounds kind of weird for me the fact that there's only one magical school in that part of the continent because of the following reasons: number one; most of the countries of South America (including mine) speak Spanish, being Brazil the only one that speaks Portuguese, so I'm curious of which would be the official language in that school. Number two; there's a wide and varied ecosystem in South America, from the Amazons jungle, to the driest dessert in the world (the Atacama Dessert, Chile) to the Patagonia (Chile and Argentina), to name a few, so the question is if the studies would be only focused in the flora and fauna in which the school is located (the amazons)? Number three; how would the sorting work? Taking into consideration the fact that the school accepts students from all over South America. Thank you! Love your videos!

Aelyn Greengrass i was thinking about this as well! personally, i live in south america so i'd probably go to Castelobruxo, but i speak spanish and this school seems to be portuguese?? i don't really know. not everyone would learn a new language just to attend a school, y'know? but i am aware that a bunch of people i'm costa rica actually speak english so i guess you'd have the choice between these 2 schools. or who knows, maybe there's another school for you guys!
