I love these videos. I've just came out of a skeeter and now own a gambler and it's the fastest boat I've been in so far at 78.7. And that is parting hair so I cant imagine 135 that's just s.i.y.p.f. lol. I'm sure you know what that means shitting in your pants fast. Awesome video
Lol i was waiting for it to go into guardian do to low block pressure.... He Will be needing new props due to blade failure and in the .003 seconds after that happens he will need a new prop shaft.....i know this because i have 10 sitting on my work bench right now.... All props never to be found again Mercury is playing hard ball about the warranty claims on some, so FYI on trying to run the jack plate so high they might cover the prop shaft but good luck getting them to cover the prop.
Good job! Sick Skate!! I ran a Talon 18 w a Bridgeport I bought from Jumping Jim back in tha Day. Northeast Florida Cracker. My life long friend is running a STV @ about 120. Plus, One Hell of a Sprint Car driver.
These Skaters are unbelievably fast. Years back I had a 25 Cougar MTR with twin 4 liter Johnson V8s two strokes, modded to almost 400 h,p. each, it could get no where near this fast. Maybe 102 on its best day (this was pre-gps).
Dude that is a MONSTER of a CAT. Alva Run, maybe next year, brother. The Action is still down and the powerhead needs some TLC and $$$$. Keep the videos coming, brother. Great videos
I would miss that sound of a 2.5 mercury though lol. In my opinion if I was to ever get a big cat if you are going to have to use 4 stroke engines these days why not just go with inboard motors and 150 mph would be easy to accomplish. Plus you could have some sort of swim platform on the back instead of those big ugly motors in the way if you go to an island or something
Nice Video! I am assuming you're running on the Caloosahatchee River? I am not familiar with that river but, I am assuming it has a current. GPS is SOG (Speed Over Ground) which means you have an additional current speed of 3-4-5 MPH when running down river, its more of a 129-130 boat when running on a lake.. Still a fast boat but, pretty standard with fastest MTI, DCB, Skater and Eliminators?
This was on the N side of Lake Okeechobee in the rim canal. No current or wind. That and the canal being long flat & wide were the reasons for going all the way there. Don’t worry 140 is coming soon.
Nice boat but fastest in the world 🤔Bring that boat to Lake Havasu AZ and get spanked but DCB and Eliminators running 165 all day every day. Check the You Tube videos if you don’t believe me.
@@crbcairo.1633 I just remember watching this Talon from my parents lakeshore as a kid....and I never seen a boat actually go into hyperspace. Forest Lake in Minnesota is known for fast boats. This TALON was something from another planet. By the way this was like 25 fukkkin years ago as well.
Great job on the footage & congrats to Warren, that thing is moving and accelerates pretty darn quick!!
Great job , Warren Duke. Your boat is amazing!
That boat may have some bragging rights, but it ant sh*t compared to a blue and white GS. You win bud!
Thats crazy though 134 on the water must be great getting to your destination in that thing

Bad A$$!! Great Job Warren!
That's nuts 134 and can have a regular conversation without yelling. Tech has jumped leaps and bounds

Bragging rights set in the seat w the man that has the BALLS to put it in the wind.

Love the Grand Sport.
Back in the day of the 2.5s we could never dreamed of those speeds
Those 2.5s could get these in the 120s tho, they were no joke.
I have a 24ft skater, it’s being worked on right now, but before me it was clocked @ 124mph and would love to get a 28ft skater!
Ive rode in a 24 and 28. Love them both!

Loving it! ❤❤❤❤❤
keep the videos coming. Like i said before you got good content.
I like the Alison boat you used
Man Starting at about 7:20 and right at 7:30 that thing looks a bit squirrelly.

Ok we’re a little ahead of ourself with the ugly but agreed
lol I don’t think many of us mind those big “ugly” mercs, inboards are nothing but problems, things blow up all the time.
The sound!!!!!!
External pickups at your 6450 you can trim in a touch with bigger wheels
Seeing temps
You may have already im not sure
Just looking in awesome effort !!!
Awesome!!
Did he figure out the water pressure issue?
On the water pressure, Would a transom water pick up help?
Possibly but that voids the warranty
Sounds wicked! Too fast for me.. Thats cooking
Can we see the stv? Thx
So is this Skater built by a dude named Wildman from Screamandfly
Who made the windshield?
Dude put 500s on it yet????
Turn the props in
driver weight reduction mod
Racing offshore since 97
It may b a fast boat but I’m a bigger fan of the grand sport as I have a bullet with a alien 2.5
I love my single engine fast boats but these cats with twins are fun!
he's to lost! i see it. over. way it goes. can't really let go! i have the same problem! ha. way it goes.

This boat has seen plenty of rough water 👌
Oops no helmet in back seat

Theres definitely faster boats but this is the fastest outboard 28 skater
😩 P r o m o S M
Nice boat horrible drone photography
TALONS ARE FASTER. IN MINNESOTA IN FOREST LAKE A GUY HAS A TALON WITH DUEL MODIFIED 2.5 MERC BRIDGEPORTS THAT CLOCKED AT 138
Look at a talon and look at a skater. Also take that same talon on this skater and put them in rough water and watch the difference😂
