The patio looks great! I would put the spotlights on the trees and then I would just flip the one loveseat to the other side of the coffee table so it’s facing the other patio just to open the flow up!

You might use the stake lights under your small tree, highlight the tree. My Birches have lights that shine up into the trees. Maybe a fountain to attract the birds, the sound makes them come to the fountain. Love the patio!

What a beautiful backyard area!
You mentioned adding some tires to play on in the yard. Keep in mind they collect water. Water draws in mosquitos. Something I'm sure you'd like to avoid.

I would plant some privacy shrubs/bushes along the wired fence for some privacy and just to create a more appealing division between the two yards. As for the toys, nothing works better than a small shed! You’ve inspired me, your yard is beautiful! Now I want to work on my back patio, too! 😆
The birds likes the seed inside the apple so is better to save them the leftover and not a hole apple... love your patio is beautiful!!! 🌼🌷🌻🌿🤗
Hi... I use several deck boxes in our yard....pillows, decorations, candles, lanterns ...get stored in those, the dishes and placemats are stored in a large Rubbermaid tub. 😮 wow...nice grill...I cook outside all the time also...you have a very nice yard...thanks for sharing...Mil🙂👍🏽

Your patio looks lovely! You could consider planting tall bushes along the fence where you've put your kids toys. That way you could get some privacy for your family ;)
Very nice. I use old chests for storage. I have a smaller area and look vintage. The wood/cloth chests accent the green landscape well.

I’d put one of the spotlights on the tree. It would look really pretty lit up at night. Also I might move your new bench (the one in between the watering can and the green plant) to the opposite side of the patio. The seating area looks a bit closed off and that might make it look more welcoming. Love the new grill!! 😍
Decorating outside is one of my favorite things to do.. can’t wait for the rain to stop and temps to warm up. Everything looks great 👍🏻 you can get a mini shed for the kids toys

A shed made all the difference for us. Made storage of all patio items so easy to store. We got ours from Tuffshed and they painted it the same color as our house. But you can get sheds from all kinds of places. My opinion...do not get metal. Ours was wood and did great in Southern California weather, but it did fade after a while ❤💚💜💙💛

Just discovered you threw this video. I was a Decorator Designer and Personal Organizer for over 20 years. The spot lights that came with the outdoor lighting kit, 1 would generally be used as an up light/ spot light for the tree you put the apple bird feeder on & the 2nd could be used to spot light you beautiful new outdoor grill/oven. Also if you want to rearrange the furniture, you would put the couch part on the opposite side of the patio/seating area. Only because that way you "living room" area won't be blocked off by the back of the sofa & everyone would see the area more openly & your hard work at designing and decorating it. How about string lights in that tree? & a pretty colourful table cloth for the dinning table (I have a collection of table cloths for both inside dining & outside because u HAVE to have a change of scenery...i also have a pretty collection of bed spreads!. Wool sheep skin rugs in say red are also a good idea draped over the backs of chairs to cosy the space up. Love what u'v done..love from malta😎

The back yard looks great , love how u decorated everything ( pretty colors ) def think a shed ( we got ours a few yrs ago from Sam’s Club ) and yes def when u have the time and money a playground equipment for the kids ( slide and swings )

We just bought new outdoor furniture too. So exciting. Instead of purchasing a storage box for the cushions, the sales rep recommended buying one cover for the large sofa and throwing all the cushions under it. It works great and so easy so thought I’d share.

spot light the flours and side trees next to the house and flower beds .. this set up is beautiful
Looks awesome! We put up one of those hard roof gazebos and it's great - lots of shade in the daytime and we don't have to bring our cushions and table decor in an out every day because it all stays dry underneath. Ours came with mosquito netting too so we can sit out late into the evening bug free 😊

Everything looks great! We just added lighting to our yard & for the spotlights we put ours under our tree & positioned the lights to shine up into the tree. It's really pretty at night & makes a nice focal point to highlight!! I'd place 1 spotlight on either side of the beautiful tree between the 2 patios!

Very nice! As someone else commented I would put the high backed sofa on the other side. The high back is sort of blocking the view from the upper deck to the cute seating area.
