- This Extreme Patio Makeover will be one of many home make over videos we will make on this channel. The biggest question is what to do next! We considered moving a few months ago and decided to stay in our home and make it what we really want. Of course it can not all be done over night but we really look forward to the process. Thank you all for watching and please don't forget to subcribe and let us know what renovation video you would like to see next. We are considering the laundry room, living room, basement and garage right now.

Absolutely love love love your backyard makeover............GORGEOUS.
The green plants with big leaves are Hostas.....they grow to about 17: and usually flower in the center......nice cover plants.
The larger dark greenleaf on the end plant with buds looks like our rhododendrons of the pacific northwest.......they are gorgeous when flowering and stay nice and green all the year long. When their blooms die, be sure to pluck them off. They are hearty and healthy plants. Looks like the smaller ones are azaleas perhaps but I couldn't see the leaf......some look perhaps like the ornamental bamboo if they get a red looking leaf in fall.......not sure on that as I couldn't see a close up. LOL
Looks like some yard ferns also! Your landscapers did a fabulous job and I can see you all enjoying that for years to come.
Absolutely stunning! Love the huge blue rocks for stepping and stairs..........so so beautiful.......very lovely for mom and dad too in the evenings.

I love the patio, its very clean and contemporary, and family friendly, an idea is to have the sand/water table with a cover and in one corner of the patio, for the kiddos and definitely put a living room type furniture there a sofa 2 matching chairs out door friendly, plus when you have BBQ and family over it will be ready to go.
Would love to see more renovation ideas. Your new outside area looks great. I would put a play forte in your huge backyard. You definitely have the room. Your Kiddos are young enough to get the enjoyment out of it.

It really looks amazing! They did a great job. I cannot wait to see it completely finished with the grill and grown in plants/grass. I love the idea of a fire pit eventually but definitely make it kid friendly for now. Definitely need some lightening, so fun!! Looks amazing.
It looks amazing!!!!! Beautiful job!! We have used the water table on the patio and on the grass. Kids prefer the grass. I love the idea of sectional on that lower patio. Great spot for the whole family to snuggle up on. And a fire pit with a cute smores area would complete the space!! Kids would love that!!

Absolutely love the patios. Would love to see more tours when everything is in place. I see lots of hosta plants. Please show us a tour of them all in bloom. It's going to be gorgeous. Congratulations to you both. Your family is.going to make so many memories out there.

Turned out great!!! I would still have the lower part with a sectional and fireplace and get rid of the 2 chairs so there’s room for the kids toys too.
I think we might have to do that! Maybe put those other chairs by the swing set for a place for adults to hang while the kids play

Love it!! It looks great! I like how you can have two completely different spaces. I like how the lower patio can be more of an entertainment area. It'll be a nice space for the baby shower. After that, I'd say keep it somewhat easy down there, so you can change it around as needed. So it will be easy to transition from kid's play tables to hosting get-togethers or kids' birthday parties. Lots of potential! I'm sure you'll have many fun days in the back yard now, especially with the nice spring weather, before it gets really hot!

I think the plants you had was a peony and hydrangea and they put in hostas, a rhododendrum, fescue grass , azaleas and some other things :)

I absolutely love it! The stone work is incredible, love how it has all that contrast! For the bottom level, I would still put a sitting area but then keep the sand and water table on it as well maybe to one of the sides. I mean it’s basically like an outdoor living room and all of us who have kids have toys in our indoor living rooms so it’s the same thing! It will still look really good no matter what u decide to do! So excited to see you all enjoying this fresh new space😊

I love watching these kind of videos! Espeically with your little family. It's so sweet to be able to turn your own home into something you all truly love! We are currently building a home, it is in the works as we speak. And it's coming along super fast, much faster than we had expected. So I can't wait for this new chapter coming soon. Enjoyed watching the transformation! It turned out beautifully! I’m not really knowledgeable about plants either, but the small bush to the left of the house and next to the old plant is a rhododendron. I only know that because I have a few in my yard and they always bloom at the end of May for me and my husbands anniversary. 🌸 Looking forward to the rest of your “manscaping” videos 😂

More renovations!! The two patios looks so nice. That tree looks like a dogwood. They planted some hostas. Not sure about all of the plants. Looks like a hydrangea on the end left of water faucet.

And I would definitely leave the second patio for the kids! The sectional & fire pit sounds amazing, but might get more use once the kiddos are bigger. That’s how it would be at our house anyways lol. We have an almost 3 year old, a 16 month old, and hope to have our third next summer! ❤️❤️❤️
