Oh my gosh, sir you have a talent! Haha this was so relaxing! The softly speaking/whispering mixed with your accent and the sounds of the paint was just incredibly relaxing :) thankyou.
Those beautiful trees in that already beautiful river bank made my night :) now, perfectly happy and relaxed i can go to sleep! Great as always!! Tnks ;)
:( I could paint lile that when I was younger but I stopped because I couldnt afford the paints, canvas etc. Never let anything get in the way you are great mate.
Truly a masterpiece.... I just saw that you have a website and Etsy shop :) Going there to look now.. Keep up the amazing work, and yes, I'm most relaxed, like in a trance watching your video once again. So calming. Thank You Brad.
Oh hello Brad. I have not been able to watch for a while. I see you have been busy! I just knew when I signed in I would see something amazing! I was right!
brilliant! You inspire me to do more painting, as I've always had a knack for pencil drawing but recently got an acrylic paint set. If you recommend other paints for semi beginners I would love to know! From a young artist
cellogirl136 e Well I just went right ahead and dived in with oil paints after watching some Joy of Painting episodes so yknow =P... Whatever you feel comfortable with really =D For this wet on wet technique i personally can only really recommend Oils as that's all i've used with it - howeverrrrrr, I've seen some wonderful paintings by (I think) Dana Jester and (definitely) Davy Turner done in acrylic - Davy Turner did some large wall paintings (murals) for various places/people, one in particular i remember had a lot of wildlife on there, and it looked to be the same technique used as with oils, although there are some differences on which paints/colours(dark/light) you apply first when using acrylic (remembering also: "Our golden rule, a thin paint will stick to thicker paint" as bob says) though i'd have to look into it again to find out for sure... its worth noting oils will generally give you more time to work with them as they dry much slower ;D Best of luck! And most importantly, Enjoy in joy! ;D
David Williams Cheers man! :) Yeah with this one mumbling asmr for sure ;D I tend to mumble away anyway when i speak softly as i paint =P Thanks a lot =D it just came to me as i painted
=) Also looking at nature, really looking { *SEEING* nature } && Looking at, say, Bob Ross's art and seeing what makes it what it is, precisely, shapes, contrasts, etc - eg i remember a revelation i once had with the patterned shapes of some evergreens :) its worth adding that i also watched some joy of painting bits in slow motion to see exactly how Bob would move his hand and hold his tools, and which parts of the tools would touch the canvas and at what angles
Tada! As in, next one is uploaded :D (There's two more videos/parts to this one, and then I didn't want to get it too crowded - also not shown is painting some bushes on the right, but no worries! You can see me painting bushes on my "Pretty Bushes...." video =) ) Additionally, Thank you Bill =)
You mean as a medium to paint with? Nawp :P I'm using oils and odourless paint thinner =D (and some other stuff like liquid clear, liquid white - Bob Ross products)
hei guy I do not doubt your talent, but I noticed a "mistake". the first tree you have drawn is tilted to the right at an angle too unnatural, beyond that your voice is very relaxing;)

It's nice to see a fellow Bob Ross fan actually dig out his brushes and paint. Well done, Brad.
