I could see that, but I think it would be ungodly expensive. Just think how easy the rest of the game would be of u could do that. Fly to kryx and destroy every single CF ship and still have 90% shield left
@@TheOnefalcon07 all the best ship parts in the game are already level capped so I guess they would cap all the M class ones higher still. I just got to level 60 recently and unlocked the last 2 engines. And an M class ship can’t land on a planet so there would have to be some sort of mechanic of flying your M class ship around and then having to change to your smaller ship to dock or land anywhere, so they could restrict things that way. It just seems likely because I’m pretty sure people found some relevant stuff in the games files, and if you look at Fallout 4, building mechanics were totally avoidable in that games story but I think 4 of the 5 DLC were centred around it because it was so effective and they were so proud of it. Wasteland Workshop, Automatron, Contraptions and Vault-Tec workshop. All DLC focussed around building shit.

That would be awesome.. and yes I'm sure the m class stuff would be level locked.. maybe level 75 or 100, but imagine how expensive a M class reactor would be if the top of the line c class reactor is 100k credits

I wish we had the chance to build stuff like this! We could have our own flagships that we can store our normal ships in and use to fly between systems and use in space combat! Could do it so we have to purchase a starstation and have to upgrade it or something to unlock the ability to build flagships or even unlock/upgrade the starstation to unlock new parts for our flag ships! 100% I would be building an imperial star destroyer!
Hoping they add more weapons slots then 3. I would keep the current 3 as is but with class C and battle ships you would get turret decated slots on top of the normal 3. This would let you deck out your biger ships with alot of turrest and still have powerful forward weapons. Of corse speed of ship and the masive power cost would be the down side.
@@chuckles2035 I do but starfield is miles better! It’s has a story line it has ship building, weapons, armour, quests, cities, shops! All you can do on NMS is change the colour of your flagship! I’m talking about a system them could put in which would be so much fun! Maybe you would have to do missions to unlock different parts! Maybe you could craft your own experimental parts like the grav drive on this with all its pipes it would make the experimental perk actually worth something maybe with it you could use starborn powers to enhance your flag ship! It would add so much more to the game!
That may sound cool and i would agree, however just like building a dedicated cargo ship there is no point in having it when there is no game system that can take advantage of it. Even a basic cargo ship is pointless becouse there main use would be to move cargo from planet to planet but u get a free ship coming to pick up your resources if u put down 2 landing pads and connect them. In a game where u build mining outposts and need to move material betwinn planets they made cargo ships completely useless.
I had to fight one as well, my jaw dropped and then I had to power up for a very tough fight for level 20, my ship was close to disintegration by the end, all the allies were wrecked but one final missile barrage took it down. Brilliant encounter
Yeah me too, 400+ hours, only in my first play through and couldn't encounter one or didn't remember seeing one. Maybe it has something to do with the perks, same with the oil rig thing POI, only with perks related to mining or resources, those start to appear, same with labs if you have science or weapon facilities when you have more perks related to guns.
If they make dlcs for starfield I hope it let's us use these. What if since the ship can't land normally we got like a drop ship instead. Or maybe for an outpost you could build a huge landing platform for it.
The minute I saw starships like the Vigilance and Trident luxury liners, I knew that should've been the endgame for Starfield, and it's a damn shame that its not. I do think they'll add cruisers and flagships in future updates. It would be incredible to also add hangar bays in addition to regular docking ports. One other thing I think they HAVE to do in the future is give us the ability to build space stations. All the building blocks are there. And what is a space station or staryard if not just an outpost in space?
Hey Quill, I dont know if anyone has mentioned but you can tell how much backward thrust you are using by looking at the thrusters. So far I havent seen them going full blast once they reach proper range from target.

was lucky and ran into this ship and also found the spacer one that was the outer planets i ran into the spacer one far left on the map those systems cant recall what system but it was a fun fight, especially since i was in the Razorleaf

This game has so much potential, i was kind out upset about the landing and takeoff cutscene, i would’ve preferred to enter the planet myself but i guess we can’t have everything
I met the shroudbearer at level like, 13 or 14 but i just kept trying for a few hours untill i managed to destroy it. Worked out in the end, but i regret not waiting with it!
I wish there were more Class-M ships present in Starfield, even more so, I wish we could build/pilot Class-M’s too. Just recently ran into the Blattodea, the spacer Class-M and got annihilated
I'm currently lvl 24 and back when I was lvl 21 I encountered the Legendary Ecliptic ship Camulus. I quick saved and decided to try to fight it..needless to say I lost hard lol

Fought this last night & it did have shields. After I took out the shields that took a while it wasn’t long till my missiles took out the ship. I only need to face the last one now, so far Ecliptic & Varuun. Must be The Spacers one. Doubt the Crimson Fleet have a capital ship. Also does it bother anyone else when folk say universe instead of settled systems or galaxy?
The Varuun ship was honestly kind of a pushover when I fought it. Although I ended up using a lot of EM weapons and missiles. So i kind of just turned off their guns.
only thing i can think of right now that sucks is that you cant make a wide ship but you can make a tall ship and seems like the power and that never really matches up to build what you want without mods..
I got the Shroudbearer to pop up as a quest some time ago, but I either missed it or forgot to check it out, because when I went to visit later, the quest bugged out and the ship wasn’t there.
They need to fix the save bloating that happens in this game where the longer you play without going through the unity you start experiencing more crashing during saves and more crashes in general
Your able to build ships this size but its all dependent on mods. The ship will land like normal size ships if you attach landing gear to them. The ship will just clip into buildings and everything else around without any issues. Same goes for landing on planets.
These are awesome! I've encountered the spacer and ecliptic versions. Destroyed them and thier support ships. You have to take out the support ships first or it's bad news bears.
If they wanna have us build ships that big I’m all for it (landings might be weird looking) but if they do then they HAVE to add the feature to place our DAMN DOORS AND LADDERS where we want. Theres already a mod that does this on Nexus and it’s so simple, they “added” all the habs that are edited to not generate any doors or ladders and then added “new parts” which are the doors and ladders.
Absolutely agree! If they want us to build ships that big, then being able to place doors and ladders wherever we want is essential. It’s frustrating when you can’t customize these basic elements. Its a great mod but I'm not sure if it impacts NPC ships,
Its all unique experience, maybe for you and the way you play you found them but theres a ton of people that didn't even no they existed. I've found the Pale lady more often then the legendaries until understood how to find them.

I found the shroud bearer and couldnt kill it. It disappeared eventually but then i found the Ecliptic legendary. Took me an hour of dying until i said fuck it and changed my ship to my upgraded Star eagle and fucked it up.
I don't know if it's a glitch or what but iv gotten the shroud 2 times and both times no xp or any cool cargo rewards. What's the point of fighting these things if their no rewards
Now I know why it destroyed me so easy. It is somewhere,but thinking it was just a ghost i had to take out, i attacked and lost. Just not paying enough attention, spending way too much time on grinding for adhesive ( Fallout flashback) and other resources plus cash . Take contraband from jail,sell,wait 8 days, do it again plus looting 2nd floor mag tech at the same run. Now i have cash just not a license for anything bigger than an A. Time to move.
I totally get that! It's easy to overlook the danger when you're focused on other things. I've had similar experiences where grinding for resources takes up most of my attention. That adhesive hunt (Fallout vibes, anyone?) can really consume time. Your strategy with the contraband sounds like a solid plan for quick cash, though. Too bad about the ship license-having more ship options would definitely help. Maybe it's time to tackle some missions that can get you that license upgrade. Good luck moving forward!
Managed to find the Spacer Blatoda and the Shroudbearer in one day lmao. Kinda surprised i managed to kill the Shroudbearer with a dicky little class A longsword 3 lol.
From my understand it can and some comments have confirmed this but to honest I'm not 100% certain. I have a video on how to find them that might help.
These things are not as dramatic as they sound. While they are pretty tough for early game, once you get to class C you can tear them to shreds in seconds. And it's not that hard to grind in this game. They don't actually give you much reward and you can't board them. They are not part of any kind of story arc that I'm aware of. And there's a glitch where they sometimes despawn if you don't destory them the first time you encounter them. So all in all, I think it's a missed opportunity on Bethesda's part.
Thats all very true, PC players have mods to increase difficulty so these can be rather nasty. But your right at the moment its a bit souless experience and need more to it.
I bumped into 3 so far all from different hostile factions all I’m missing is the crimson one. Sucks u can’t steal it or at the very least board it to idk kill and an probably find legendary gear..
I really can’t remember them all but I do remember one of them being Serpentis, Nirah, and I think I remember one being In alpha centauri system. I wasn’t trying to find them it just randomly happened this is the first I seen 3 in one gameplay. Just have to check all those icon that says hostile, ship, and even sensor contact.
I've seen 3 and only ever defeated one the varuun one was my first abd i defeated it with a suped up Razorleaf but the next 2 were the Ecliptic battleship AND i was in very hard difficulty... needless to say it was the hardest fight of my life in game EDIT- if you compete the faction quest of crimson fleet and side against them i don't think the crimson fleet one will ever spawn afterwards
It’s honestly criminal how long it’s taking them to actually fully develop and give access to the rest of what this game potentially offers. I have a big feeling the new dlc is going to be a disappointment.

Only seen it once when I jumped to a planet with the Shroud Bearer and an armed escort. I was low-level and got melted pretty fast.
At low level its a really tough challenge. Good on you for trying.
I took out the Ecliptic Legendary one and his buddies. But I never saw another since.
Have you spent much time looking for them? It can get bugged which might be the reason.

I stayed at max 3000 range of my weapons and just grinded it down.

For some reason, I encountered both the ecliptic and the va'runn legendary ships at Porrrima
I wish it would be both at the same time. Thats crazy rare to happen. 1 in a million surely.

Another note: I've seen them twice as often during my playthrough while my game was on VERY HARD difficulty than when i was on normal

There are some mods now but the normal ship parts you have to use don't integrate well with the snapping points on the normal ship parts
100% the mods now fix this for the most part.
So, do you need your game settings to be at VERY HARD for these types of ships to spawn? Or do they just pop up anywhere no matter the setting?
They pop up no matter the setting but very hard increased the encounter. I suggest checking the video I did to help find them.

There’s an ecliptic encounter you can get as well with their capital ship. It is not an easy fight

They're actually really common and I've found them in every playthrough with no difficulty. They're not even 1/1000th as rare as the Pale Lady.

I found the shroud bearer and couldnt kill it. It disappeared eventually but then i found the Ecliptic legendary. Took me an hour of dying until i said fuck it and changed my ship to my upgraded Star eagle and fucked it up.
Nice the Star Eagle is a beast. You have had better luck then me :)
I don't know if it's a glitch or what but iv gotten the shroud 2 times and both times no xp or any cool cargo rewards. What's the point of fighting these things if their no rewards
That's is odd you should at least get 1500 or 15000 xp or something I can't remember. At least you can get the event some people have that bugged.
At 240 hours ive seen 2 and both times being on very hard at low level so had to jump away
They should stay as a POI on your map as they turn into a mission once you get close enough.
Now I know why it destroyed me so easy. It is somewhere,but thinking it was just a ghost i had to take out, i attacked and lost. Just not paying enough attention, spending way too much time on grinding for adhesive ( Fallout flashback) and other resources plus cash . Take contraband from jail,sell,wait 8 days, do it again plus looting 2nd floor mag tech at the same run. Now i have cash just not a license for anything bigger than an A. Time to move.
I totally get that! It's easy to overlook the danger when you're focused on other things. I've had similar experiences where grinding for resources takes up most of my attention. That adhesive hunt (Fallout vibes, anyone?) can really consume time. Your strategy with the contraband sounds like a solid plan for quick cash, though. Too bad about the ship license-having more ship options would definitely help. Maybe it's time to tackle some missions that can get you that license upgrade. Good luck moving forward!

Really wish I could keep stolen ships with out them falling through the landing pads lol
We are soon to get a patch which hopefully fixes some of these issue.

I was disappointed that you couldn’t board them too, wasted opportunity to have a great fight with a lot of loot.
Managed to find the Spacer Blatoda and the Shroudbearer in one day lmao. Kinda surprised i managed to kill the Shroudbearer with a dicky little class A longsword 3 lol.

From my understand it can and some comments have confirmed this but to honest I'm not 100% certain. I have a video on how to find them that might help.

Unfortunately not. You can pilot them on PC with mods.

The trick to the 3 legendary ships is to keep disabling their weapons.
They are extremely bad vs em weapons except the Camulus who has a decent shield.

These things are not as dramatic as they sound. While they are pretty tough for early game, once you get to class C you can tear them to shreds in seconds. And it's not that hard to grind in this game. They don't actually give you much reward and you can't board them. They are not part of any kind of story arc that I'm aware of. And there's a glitch where they sometimes despawn if you don't destory them the first time you encounter them. So all in all, I think it's a missed opportunity on Bethesda's part.
Thats all very true, PC players have mods to increase difficulty so these can be rather nasty. But your right at the moment its a bit souless experience and need more to it.

I bumped into 3 so far all from different hostile factions all I’m missing is the crimson one. Sucks u can’t steal it or at the very least board it to idk kill and an probably find legendary gear..

In alpha centauri system. I wasn’t trying to find them it just randomly happened this is the first I seen 3 in one gameplay. Just have to check all those icon that says hostile, ship, and even sensor contact.

That really is strange. Ive never seen it with a shield.
I've seen 3 and only ever defeated one the varuun one was my first abd i defeated it with a suped up Razorleaf but the next 2 were the Ecliptic battleship AND i was in very hard difficulty... needless to say it was the hardest fight of my life in game
EDIT- if you compete the faction quest of crimson fleet and side against them i don't think the crimson fleet one will ever spawn afterwards
I dont think the crimson fleet one spawns outside the quest line but I could be wrong there.

It’s honestly criminal how long it’s taking them to actually fully develop and give access to the rest of what this game potentially offers. I have a big feeling the new dlc is going to be a disappointment.

What's funny, the first ship is so strong, THERE ARE NO SHIELDS 😮
No shields but still has a huge Hull health. But for sure no shield makes it easy target for EM weapons.

I found the shroudbearer n it was lvl 35 not 45 maybe it scales with u 🤷♂️
I think your correct there. It should scale with your level but might max out at 45. Good job finding it so early.
