Huge fan! I really enjoyed watching House hunters. Happy you and your family found a nice home. You have inspired me to start making jewelry. Putting in a order for supplies this week. I loved love loved the custom made wire wrap you did that looked like the goddess symbol. The one with the two moons. 🌙
Hi❣️ new subscriber here. I’m loving your videos. I’m a new beginner. Meaning I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m really getting into wire wrapping. Could you tell the story of how you’ve started and some of your challenges? 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi, Oxana. I love your tutorials as a newbie to wire wrapping. I look forward to advancing with your help. :) My question is this: I’m about to use this pattern to make a 30-inch length to attach to a lamp spider -the frame for the shade. According to your instructions here I need to cut 12.5 feet. Is this times 3 for the wire needed as per this tutorial? Or do I divide the total length of 12.5 feet into three pieces ? Thank you for however you can help me.
oh you mean because I said cut your wire about 5 times the perimeter of the stone? I am honestly really bad at estimating lengths and so I overestimate to be safe, I just meant that your lengths becomes much shorter after braiding as they were before the braiding, so people know to cut extra long wires. So your perimeter is 30 inches? So times 5 we'd get 150 inches, that's what we'd want the wires to be after they are prepared for braiding but before they are actually braided. So that means each of the 3 single wires is 300 inches so when you fold them in half you get the 3 double wire pieces that would be 150 each. So that's 75 feet of wire total. But my guidance of times 5 was very much overestimating what is needed because it is always better to have too much wire than not enough, so if you go with 75 feet you will likely have lots of ends left over, but copper wire is inexpensive and my personal opinion is that it is better to have too long of wires just to be safe.
@@OxanaCrafts Thank you for the clarification, Oxana. That’s A LOT of wire to handle. As a longtime crocheter I immediately wonder if there’s a way to weave in wire, but I’m sure there is not, or it would be unattractive. Maybe I need to hang it from something like macrame ponder ponder
Hi, Oxana. Here’s my finished project that I was able to achieve because of your 0:12 tutorial here. I hope I can get a photo attached… sorry I can’t add a photo, but I’m so completely grateful.
@@OxanaCrafts Can you pls tell me if you are making a beaded braided wire bracelet at which point of time do we have to put the bead .Pls let me know. Thankyou. God bless. Tkcare.
You really have a way with wire. Beautiful work. I have a question for you. I have a bunch of beautiful large lampwork beads. The problem I'm having is that the beads are lumpy. They are lopsided and the holes are not too pretty either. The beads are beautiful even with the problems and are definitely worth the effort. I would like to work some beautiful wire around them while covering the ugly holes and still allowing the bead to spin to see all sides. Can you help me?
It'd have to be thicker wire so it wouldn't be floppy. Just use round nose pliers to curl wire ends so they will not poke, and then bend into cuff shape
Thank you for all you do to help others! You are a blessing and an angel with the sweetest voice?
Thank you for your tutorial, it's really easy to understand and super useful! So kind of you to share all these tips to us, thank you!
It's amazing what a difference it makes to put your finger over the wires to hold them flat while braiding! Excellent tip!👍

Thank you very much for your video tutorial 🙏.
It really help me a lot in learning how to do the braid.
You’re welcome 😊
This is great its going to be really helpful for when I make my gf's family a house warming gift going to incorporate this into it
Good video but I’d like to see how you attach the end to the first loop. That’s where I have problems. Thank you!
I don't attach them together, but I do use the braids in various ways, I have a few tutorials where I incorporate the braids into pendants
Yes I understand but I have made before & form a clasp to wear as bracelet

How would you turn this into a bracelet/cuff?
It'd have to be thicker wire so it wouldn't be floppy. Just use round nose pliers to curl wire ends so they will not poke, and then bend into cuff shape
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you !😍🤗💝
How many millimeters is the wire?
24 gauge round dead soft wire, sorry not sure what is mm size, it was just called 24 gauge size when I purchased it
@@OxanaCrafts oh ok then!
Its up to me how I do it. But my way looks like a bird's nest compared to your's! Think I'll stick with your way!
Are you able to show how you use the braid to wrap a cab?
I actually just wrap the cab like usual, and then just use thin wire to attach the braid around the pendant.
Thank you.
Hablas mucho y haces muy largo el video para un simple trenzado que se hace en 2 minutos. Wow
Al menos escribelo en inglés, así como ha entender tu comentario.
This video would have been good if you didn't talk so much and just fing did it
What's the use of watching if your not gonna make anything
