I’m a a/c man. I’ve made many copper cuffs with my scrap. It’s a great way to relive stress. I have a over hundred year old anvil, that had made many a horse shoe. It makes a perfect design, all on it’s own! I like your technique for twisting the wire. Thanks for sharing 😎
All 3 looks really nice next to each other . It would look cool using all 3 into a design even though it’s a very similar twist , the effect came out different enough to add variety . Thanks so much for making this video . I have a drill I got on Amazon too for jewelry work , but didn’t think of using it to twist wire. Makes the work a lot easier .
So happy to see this. I have such bad arthritis that jewelry making is painful but I like to use twisted wire without having to pay for it. I haven’t been able to do this anymore but after seeing this, I’ll going to buy a drill!
It is a good video, I found this helpful, and I think it was great, to be able to see and compare the difference visual effect of each strand of twisted wire, I have tried twisting wire by hand before but it always broke, so this was really interesting to me, i feel i leared some thing. Thank you for making this video, I enjoyed watching your tutorial. Laura in uk
When you twist the wire hang the center on a nail with a nice flat head on it or a small screw hook and that will allow a more even grasp on your twisting hand. I have even used small vice grips and secured that end in them and then lay them on the floor and hold in place with my foot. I wish I could remember the name of a tool that I have for twisting wire. It reminds me of an old hand egg beater. You clamp the two loose ends in vice grips and lay the vice grips on the floor and rotate the “beater” using taut tension and within a few seconds you have awesome twisted wire. Thanks for the video you did. I didn’t have a clue how to use a pin vise. I knew it had to be simple though. Thank you.
Thank u I have the pen device I make jewelry but I didn't remember wat was the pen device for .I purchased it like over 3yrs ago .I was going to get back into it never used it n was wondering wat it was for so thank u so much God bless
Thanks for the video. I'm going to try twisting wire to make my jewelry a little more interesting. I just got my pin vise from Amazon and I have a drill so I'll try both to see which one works best for me. I came across your channel today while looking for videos to twist wire and have subscribed. Looking forward to some more of your videos. Keep them coming.
That's freaking ingenious. I haven't done twisting yet ... I've barely learned the basics. I bought a whole bunch of dog colors, gauges, half round, full round, flat etc etc LOL So now I've been watching videos basically all day So I have my own set of pink tools;)😅 including my drill. So tu so mich for this PS, you're videos are amazing. Keep up the great work
Wow, the second one that you did I have that instrument and I was trying to do it with the single-strand but it wasn't twisting and instead finally broke off. I did not know that you were supposed to double it. Thank you for the tutorial it was very very helpful. I learned something today.
I found a pin vice , that lil hand drill for resin, works really good for twisting wire. I hold the other end with pliers and roll the vice down my thigh while sitting and other end is hovering over the other leg
Great tutorial and thanks for showing us the different methods to get this accomplished. I've learned so much from this channel. Can't wait to to see next weeks vid. Love the Gertie dance at the end! Have a great week!
hi!!! could you please tell what is that handheld vice with the black rubber balls you use in part 1 for clamping the wires in your right hand? there is no mention in the description and I have been trying to find it online but no success so far. Thanks for this video and good luck with your work!!
Thankyou for all that you share with us! Your tutorials are amazing and have helped me so much :-) On the link you gave for the Pin Vise it says it is a drill? If I order that one will it twist wire I don't need a drill thankyou!
@@ZurickDesigns Thankyou so much for your fast reply I do appreciate it! I was confused as to if the drill would twist wire also Thankyou :-) They look a like but the one said drill and buying online I just wanted to make sure~ Thankyou for your time 🙂
Thanks so much for the link to the clamp you use. I order a lot from wire jewelry.com but just from Amazon so now that I'm registered directly to them I'll be getting a lot of great discounts and fun free tutorials.
OMG...took a woman to give us a way to twist wire!!! I tried the "tool" and no way! You would have to have bionic hands to tighten the tool. Thanks for the laugh in trying to use that silly thing. I loved your idea of the drill...that's my go too tool when wrapping wire.

Most definitely! 😃
How do you twist a single wire ?
If it’s square wire you can use a pin vise
First way is if you don't have any tools just pull out your clamp and pliers
In aviation we use a wire twister, it's very easy use..
Cool!
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much
