This is that song that makes you want to just sing your heart out of sadness, frustrations, disappointments, and anger towards yourself and the people around you for being unfair, unjust, irrational, and merciless. Yet, it's downstraight candid, frank, and poetic.

"I don't like Mondays." Can there be any more meaningless reason for shooting up a school yard and killing people randomly. And yet we continue to live through these horrors regularly, because we haven't learned the lesson.

Wasnt until i was an adult that my partner explained what the song was about. Geldof is the man, nothing will ever surpass what he did with live aid
