I grew up one town from him.😅.I am not going to say what I told him sitting in his front yard when I was 18.Oops 😅.I am a retired carpenter he bought his own baseball team he shut me up 😅.And he is one of my favorites of all times.A living legend.
I lost my Mum the month before I saw Bon Jovi for the first and only time live in Southampton in 2008. I hadn't shed a tear either when she passed away in my local hospital or during her funeral. But during the concert they sang Always, and although it was written for a different scenario, the line 'I'll be there forever and a day... always' suddenly hit me as the realisation that my Mum was gone and wasn't with me any longer. My love for her was still fresh in my heart and my memories, and I couldn't hold on to my emotions any longer as I began to cry... I sang and cried in memory of my Mum. She may have been in her seventies but she was surprisingly quite strong-willed and in her last two years had experienced a number of falls, pneumonia (twice), chest infections, etc and yet bounced back. But then she finally succumbed to Sepsis leaving me numb and Bon Jovi opened my heart and allowed me to grieve. Thank you Jon and the guys.

@@lorirose3846 Many thanks for your greetings. It's the 16th anniversary of her passing on 5th May 2024 so the next two or three weeks in particular is a time I reflect on it the most. June 11th (date of the concert) is a special day to my wife and I because neither one of us imagined seeing a 'supergroup' like Bon Jovi in our lifetime, and it was my Mum who made it possible six months prior when she encouraged me to book the tickets and paid for us to go. A very special time in so many ways.

My deceased husband, Richard and I were onsight for "Bed of Roses" in Red Rock Canyon LV. Richie Z was totally amazing! He was a gentleman in the trailer. He let me be in his presence without seeming like he was superior. . I didn't recognize Jon Bon as he walked across the desert with his new hair cut! Still love you, so does my daughter. She has Downs syndrome but knows every song you perform in 2 beats or less. Thanks for all you do! I'm certain I've posted this before 🎉

I’ll just chime in with this: one of my oldest friends is a professional roadie - and has worked with his wife, and son building stages for the top artists (Madonna, Justin Timberlake, etc.) Well, he was a part of the Bon Jovi crew and he has always said that Jon (and the Bon Jovi team) was the best. I never knew I loved bon Jovi... But l was drip fed his albums through my bedroom wall at 6 am by my then 14 year old daughter getting ready for school,,, back in mid 80s........ When the songs made it to the charts I knew ALL THE WORDS 😂😂😂my daughter is now 52 and still a huge fan after Paul Young.. Jon was her SECOND TRUE LOVE . ❤️ I CAN SEE HER NOW DANCING AROUND THE KITCHEN WITH A WOODEN SPOON FOR A MIKE.. 🥄😊GREAT MEMORIES THANKS BONJOVI YOU WERE A HUGE PART OF OUR LIVES BACK THEN 👌💕

I absolutely love Bon Jovi i started listening to there music when i was only 9 years old and i now 48 and still loving there music they was one of very first rock bands i started listening to as a kid in 80's along side other great bands like Motley Crue Def Leppard Posion Warrent and many great other bands around that time

His voice has been failing for years because he shot his vocal cords with steroids in the slippery/jersey tours because instead of taking nights off to rest his voice he instead chose to chase the money.

I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously. And hes been married to his highschool aweetheart for years! Hes also very caring and giving. He has a restaurant in New Jersey that homeless people can eat at for free. And he actually works there. I saw a picture of him washing dishes in the back. Hes awesome 😎😎
