Danke David . R. I. P.
Bin 56 Jahre alt, geht mir ganz genau so, der Lebensfilm läuft im Kopf vorbei und die Augen werden feucht......ein Meisterwerk der Musik, thank you Mr.David Bowie 🤘
Totally agree, Galina...the British took the world by storm with their own unique Rock n Roll invasion back in the 1960s, predicated upon a long standing tradition of excellence in literature, particularly poetry and thespianism...
i'm currently 19 and i had and still have a huge crush on him and his unbelievably unique voice and style. but, to be honest, he looked the most handsome during this time, both his looks and as a person. and it makes me so happy that he lasted so long. he's not only a legend but definitely some kind of extraterrestrial being that just happened to pit-stop on earth to enchant us with his beautiful voice. i'm sure he moved on to the next planet, that starman… truly a hero.
24 now still love him. if you like eccentric people like this check out hideto matsumoto i'm on a mission to let the world know about him. he's a legend in japan
He looked so much better as he aged than when he was young. He cleaned himself up by then and had a stable marriage to Iman and a daughter to live for.
+Elaine Riley I've been thinking that. Name a song and I'll tell you what my life was doing right then. David's death was a natural finale to Life. Sing to the angels, I've got some darned fine music to experience xx
I was there too. Spine tingling stuff. "Heroes" was and is my top Bowie tune. To hear it in the flesh on a night like that was a dream come true........... " Though nothing will keep us together We could steal time just for one day We can be heroes for ever and ever What d'you say?"
This man was a musical genius inside and out. I can remember growing up in the 70's, listening to him, getting every album that ever came out, and following his career my whole life. Such a sad loss, geez! They are leaving us one by one. Really makes me think. His music will certainly live on, and so will he in our hearts
I love you David Bowie, may you rest in peace. I played Let's Dance and Rebel Rebel with tears in my eyes today, on my Strat and Les Paul, and both sounded so good I just cried. I did see the thin white Duke back in the 80's in Chicago for support of the album Let's Dance, and I thank God for it. He is only 7yrs older than me. He is one of my many Heroes of music. I had too many good times while listening to his music in the '70's, and it continues.
I love you David...I thought my heart broke when Freddie Mercury passed, but when we lost you, it has been shattered. Love and prayers to Iman and your son.
I have see Bowie live three times over the years and this is probably one of the best versions of 'Heroes' I have seen him perform. I would love to see him again if he ever decides to tour at least one more time.
I was at the Wiltern in Los Angeles concert… same tour. Amazing show. Never in a thousand lifetimes will another David Bowie be with us all. True original.
We still love you and miss u beautiful starman who felt to earth. Hope you're now the "black star" waiting in the Sky among all the stars ! Miss u genius, the man/woman of so many faces. 2022
I think this was the best live version. His band and the backup singing really brought out every color and emotion this song captures. RIP Ziggy Stardust 🤘

I wonder how often, at these moments when he and his band were nailing it, the crowd was wild, and everyone was on top of the world, that it occurred to him that one day he would be doing this for the very last time.
Watching this great performance makes me remember what my Dad said when Sinatra passed away. My Dad has now passed on as well, but he said that when Sinatra passed it was odd as Sinatra had always been around, for what seemed like, all of his life and that it was it strange that was the end of Sinatra. I got the principle at the time but I now get exactly what he meant. Throughout my life there were always new Bowie albums, where he used his Chameleon persona to surprise us, but that is no more. RIP David and I love Heroes......Thank you....
What a performance. Saw him play in Glasgow about 20 years ago. It was fascinating to watch fellow audience members who looked well to do and respectable, but after 15 minutes into the gig they had their jackets off and were dancing away. It was like Bowie had somehow managed to transport them back into their teenage years. For just that night they were free. The power of music. Its one of God’s great gifts to humanity.
ICH BIN 75 JAHRE UND EIN GROßER BOWIE FAN. ICH LIEBE BOWIE IN SEINEN JUNGEN LEBENSJAHREN GENAU SO WIE IN DER REIFE SEINES LEBENS .BOWIE FOREVER AND EVER .🎶🎸🎷🎵💋❤⚡🎼🎇⚡REST IN PEACE DAVID ❤🖤🤍🖤🤍🕯

Bowie was definitely a supreme specimen, though as a straight guy I am more interested in that bassist there next to him.
Mr Allah
