- **This video may help you with bolt catch problems**
This video is a guide on how to take apart a WE G39 (G36) gas blow back rifle magazine. During the video, I talk about a couple issues concerning the magazine as well as how to clean and maintain it.
Hey man, thank you very much for making this video, it really helps me ALOT especially with the magazine spring problem.
If u break those thin O rings, go to pep boys and get the liquid o ring. It's the high pressure one, it's blue in color and $6. U can't find those thin o rings any where.
Thanks a lot. It just so happens that I did break an o-ring so I appreciate you sharing that info.
Thanks this video helped me with my little problem :)
Dude i have the same problem in my WE G39C also like what you explained on your videos the bolt action is stock because the magazine spring is not long enough. thanks
The mag fix only works in cases where the mag is the issue. Check my other videos, I have one where I talk about the bolt catch itself.
Thank you!!!
Since green gas or propane gas is not that really reliable in cold weather, I was wondering, is it possible to fill a mag with compressed air from your bicycle pump?(because you need only 80 PSI or so). Can a mag like this hold compressed air?
You would have to replace the fill valve and I don't think there is one that would fit the mag and have a bike pump style fill end. You'd be better off converting/tapping the mag for hpa. But yes, the mag will hold compressed air as long as the seals are good.
Hey ! Thanks for the video :)
But I did like you say, but it didn't fix my bolt catch problem. Actually, I think it does not come from the magazine... So I don't know where it comes from the gun !
Thanks a lot for this.
ware can i get a inlet valve from in the uk
Late to the video for 4 years. But can the internal fit into a M4 magazine shell and perform properly? Thanks.
Very late with the response but I doubt it would. I don't have a GBB M4 mag, but this G36 mag is very thick, even thicker than a Scar Heavy mag, which I do have.
hey where did you buy your g39
Okay so it won't let me add a web link. Here is the name and part number for the sealant.
Pep Boys Automotive
Permatex Gasket Maker and Sealant Ultra Blue Multi-Purpose RTV Silicone and Gasket Maker
Part # 81724
Here's the link. Make sure its the blue one and it says high pressure. The black one doesn't dry hard enough. Red and Grey dry like cement. Blue is just right cuz it provides a good seal and if you can still disassemble the mag. Also make sure it is the gasket marker kind, not the one meant for threads. Shouldn't be more then $6
Thanks. Can you send me a link?
