    Sounds like the cat is giving you some good advice you should totally do let the cat come in.
    Seems like something that maybe 3d printing would help with or like the sort of thing real fake guns does.

      I’m sure 3D printing would solve everything, only I know more about 18th century French architecture than I do about 3D modelling and printing. And I know nothing about 18th century French architecture 😆

    I’d say go for it and make the necessary modifications, the proof of concept is definitely there pal.
    It would be amazing to have a WE G36 rocking GHK M4 mags, so much easier to draw and insert into pouches. I know you said the HK magwell adapter was expensive, however it’s not like we’re easily able to own real HK G36 rifles in the U.K...
    Do it! You won’t regret it!

    you could see about grabbling an aeg magwell adapter, since your going to cut it to pieces. that should be cheaper and then if it works well, you can do a better job with the hk one.

      I tried the AEG magwell first and the magazine locking piece is positioned too low and the magazine needs to index about 1cm higher. My previous video that I made on this project featured that version and I had to hold the mag upwards for it to cycle.
      Trouble is there’s not much I can do about moving the catch higher due to how it’s designed. This HK piece locks the magazine in place at pretty much the exact height.

    Now then Mr. Bing,
    Glad you are getting some downtime - from my perspective perhaps a through bolt with rollers at the trigger guard bottom edge of the magwell, two rollers that go either side of the gas valve to hold that gas router better in position - I believe that gas router seals are meant to 'bellows' up on release anyway to complete that seal.
    So in short a dumbbell shaped bearing on a through bolt perhaps?

      Interesting concept. I’ve had a few ideas float around. A clip-on wedge at the front to guide the mag to a solid and correct angle seems to be a popular method. I don’t know tho, I’ll see if I can acquire another magwell and see.

    Mate! That is not bad at all! Well done great work so far. Could you get a few copies done of the magwell converter by a 3D printer that way you can mess about till you work out how to modify it?
    All its takes is one wrong cut on OG one and it's tears all round the split milk.
    You made me want to get G39 but it's the huge mags that are holding me back.

      I’d like to have it 3D printed but I really don’t know what I’m doing with that. I suppose I could have the magwell scanned somehow.
      If you saw my previous video with the AEG magwell that I converted you can see how much more snappy the action is compared to the original mag. As a proof of concept it’s astounding.

    A flat top plate is needed to keep the mag from tilting. How much space is in between the magwell & gas valve? Without cutting magwell, you could design a lever arm that hits the valve, pivots above the magwell and interfaces the finger guard trigger area. Then incorporate a trigger safety mechanism.

      Hi bud,
      Thanks for watching mate. No they don’t require it. I had limited gas capacity with my magazines as they were among the first to be produced and removing the tubes inside would allow more liquid gas to enter. The side effect was you could easily overfill the mag and shoot liquid gas through the rifle.
      The rifle would choke up and liquid would shoot out of the ejection port and barrel if you charged more than 15+ seconds. They improved their design not long after so they could naturally allow more gas.
      To save people from potentially ruining good mags I took down the tutorial.

    Hey BadaBing! I'm writing to you out of desperation, because what do you know, another m*th*rf*ck*ng WE magazine has failed on me. I'm so tired of them! This time it's a Scar-H, you don't have a video about that gun but maybe you have some info about it's disassembly because I can't seem to find any. All I can see are two screws on top near the feeding lips and when I tried to loosen them one of them has stripped it's head because why wouldn't WE make it's screws from some sort of sh*t. Do you have any idea what I will find if I manage to remove those screws? The mag leaks somewhere along it's body so I have to disassemble it but it's not like other mags I've seen before.
    I'm so unlucky with these gd airsoft guns, I should just give up on airsoft altogether. I have a collection of 22 guns (short+long), sometimes I feel all I do with my spare time is fixing those.

      Hi mate,
      I’ve never had the pleasure of the WE SCAR H. Only the L.

    • @sogerc1
      @sogerc1 3 роки тому

      @@BadaBingPictures Unfortunately no. I managed to remove the screws and they only release the feeding lips, not even the follower. I wrote an email directly to WE, hopefully they will help me. Or maybe KYAirsoft or someone, it's a pretty pricey mag, I wouldn't want to throw it away.
      If you get the chance try the SCAR-H. It suffers from the usual WE crap, and in addition the rails on it are very sharp, I had to put larue style indexclips on them so I wouldn't cut myself, but it's really fun to use. It's my favorite from my collection. But this weekend my newly acquisitioned GHK AUG will have it's first chance to change my mind. You were right, the feeding lips required very little filing. More like taking the edges away so the BBs are better guided.

    • @BadaBingPictures
      @BadaBingPictures  3 роки тому

      Why over 500?
      Red gas alone won’t get you there. Longer tight bore inner barrel and stiffer rocket valve spring. And it doesn’t stop there as you need to think about using harder bucking and a brass nub as the stock parts are optimal for 300fps speeds. Your bbs won’t be effective so you’d need upgrades to see any real benefit.
      But even still it’s not a sniper rifle.
      You want to use green gas or red gas, upgrade the nozzle spring. Red gas only really in colder temps.

      @BadaBingPictures  3 роки тому +1

      In that case you need a longer (above 400mm) tight bore inner barrel. 70-80degree bucking and maybe a brass nub, look out for the SixG nub and this combination will allow you to lift heavyweight bbs. .36g and above.
      Look for pistols which have support to use CO2 as they are designed to take higher pressure gas.
      Ask a shop as they would be able give you advice. Aside from that I’m not sure what specific pistol you could use black gas with, I only use Propane.
