The Inflammatory Response
Вставка

- We touched upon the inflammatory response in the Anatomy & Physiology series, but now it's time to go much deeper. What is inflammation on the cellular level? Which cell types are involved with the response, and what are the mechanisms by which they take action? What do we mean by vascular component and cellular component of inflammation? Let's get a closer look now!

Professor Dave has taught me way more than Highschool ever has
And likely more than you'll learn in college. Master what professor Dave explains, be able to explain it to another (only proof of true understanding), and investigate further on what interests you.
Dont get the impression that these are high school biology topics, These are advanced topics simplified for us by prof Dave.
Also you are in an age where you are more interested and are out of the phase where you discovered the other sex 🤔😉
UA-cam been doing me dirty with their suggestions. Then just magically sends me Professor Dave. Like, how have you only just suggested this.
Haven’t even watched but I already know this is gonna be a good one! Thanks Professor Dave 👍🏼
If only you had shown a T-helper cell "shaking hands" with a dendritic cell then having them turn to the camera and wink, I would have given it a 100%. Still, a solid 99%. Another great vid.
I miss you so much for immunology videos.
This was well explained; I even understood some! This field has wonderful nomenclature.
I got about 2 words in 5.
Thank you so much for creating and sharing this video with us! It is extremely helpful to my understanding of the immune response, particularly within the skin. ❤
Is this a med class lecture? Learned so much, thanks Professor Dave!
My powerful professor,, you know to explain things and am following you channel💖💖💖
Fascinating. Thanks, Dave👍.
Thank so much Professor!!! It's clear explanation
Good presentation, thanks
Excellent!
Thanks.
We ❤ prof dave.
May God bless you professor ❤
Thanks!
Could you do a video about electron volt?
Please make a playlist for PathoPhysiology
Thanks ❤
Very detailed yet straightforward explanation on inflammatory n resolution system thank you Prof Dave.
I have been watching some videos and I was thinking about investing, but still don't know where to start from.
That's true most people today have been having a lot of failures in forex and crypto sector because of poor orientation and bad experts
@@sanimuhammed9734 Most people are scared because of the chance of loss incurred while trading

Came here for the debunks. Stayed for the valuable content
Hello professor. Can you do a video on supernatural /unexplained phenomenas like deja vu etc.
fascinating
thanks..
Question, how is it that vasodilation results in a reduction in blood flow? Should it not be an increase in blood flow and a decrease in blood pressure?
Literally when there is vasodilation blood pressure to that area is reduced and subsequently there is blood flow that is being supplied to that area though on a low pressure
Ray Peat and Georgi Dinkov have particular views on metabolism and health could you give us the lowdown on their claims?
Amazing😊
I can understand the the cellular response, but the biochemistry left me in the dust.

I have been watching some videos and I was thinking about investing, but still don't know where to start from.
How do you stop the inflammatory response once chronic?
I have H/EDS. Inflammation isn't my friend. My connective tissue is broken.
Hii profu Dave
What software did you use to put these together?
adobe after effects
You know what. Professor Dave and Kurzgesagt should do a collab.
Good video thanks
He is an university alone
For a second, judging by the title of this video, I thought it was gonna be another Globe Busters debunk video.
Leukotrienes and other inflammatory mediators, including how they are created, is an interesting one I want to learn more about.
After learning about NSAIDs, leukotrienes, etc, including the COX-1/2 and LOX pathways, I decided to reduce my dietary intake of omega-6 fats. Over a few year span have noted a significant reduction in my asthma, to the point it's pretty much gone now. One winter I was outside and took in a large breath of cold air... And nothing happened.
I made the decision to take this step after learning about leukotrienes, and that the best asthma drug I'd ever had was the leukotriene receptor antagonist Montelukast.
I presumed there must be a substrate which made the leukotrienes and other inflammatory mediators, and if I reduced that, it may reduce inflammation. While this may have been naive, such processes are complex, lowering omega-6 consumption seemed to have worked.
It eliminated all my arthritis and chronic pain, reduced my allergies to near non existence, and I no longer need any asthma meds nor allergy meds. I still do have eye allergies though, but a minor inconvenience.
I continue to study in hopes I can better understand the root causes and underlying mechanisms at action.
So, loss of function is "nomor", right?
😂😂😂
😂😂
You forgot the regulatory t-cells
consider this book .. it tells about the mystery of the universe.. Alien Interview ,,Lawarance R Spencer
Unfortunatly this stuff, reeaaaly overreacts if a hair grows into your skin. I even have a scar following 2 weeks of severe pain. Sometimes the immune system is stupid.
If you're referring to ingrown hairs, I recommend shaving with the grain rather than against it.
10th
That was fucking crazy!
Is UA-cam your only source of revenue or are you teaching in a school in the same time ?
I don't teach anymore, UA-cam is most of my income.
Um dave, this might sound stupid or irrelevent but i think you said that that humans evolved from monkeys but a google search provided that humans evolved from another species (not monkey), can u explain it?
I definitely did not say that, as humans and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor, and especially because this immunology series has nothing to do with human evolution. Visit my biology series if you want to learn about that.
Ok thanks
