As a 70 year old granny who only plays solo and doesn't do dungeons or raids I did my first delve today and loved it. This video is so helpful. Thank you 😊
I'm mostly a GW2 player, in which I play solo content the vast majority of the time. But every year I return to WoW because of nostalgic memories, and simply because the Blizzard marketing department knows how to sell people their game)) And every time I have enough for 2 months. Because I am faced with the end-game content, where there is no place for the likes of me. This time I'm really so excited :)
I started playing WoW in classic tbc a few years ago during the second release and i have to say on my first toon while i was learning the game some people were so intolerant. If u didnt know something and or made a mistake ( lol for example not knowing there is a certain order for picking up the quest for the Ring of Blood) (or why everyone would always open trade and want water all the time) (or not knowing the parkour trick jump shot for skipping a section of a dungeon or not knowing what straffing is i had no idea why they were saying that lol but for for god sake above all else scotty don’t ever say ur new to the game !!😂 So yes i think that these delves are going to totally work for me as ive not really ever tried to learn some other classes ive wanted to play.

As a solo player, I really love these. I hope that they decide to spread these out not just in the new area, but across all of Azeroth. Add new and unique armors and maybe even rare mounts in them, too. It would really do the solo player some real justice imho. And in my almost 20 years of playing WoW almost completely solo, it would be SO appreciated by players like me.
I agree. They have the AI part down to be able to do a party so now they should allow us to select alts and run. Ive always wanted something like this. Hopefully one day they will. Maybe in a major patch or two from now.

Delves as stated by Ion Hazzikostas is a PERMANENT end game pillar. at least that is what they hope the players will want it as such, but if enough players enjoy it, they will iterate on the system further and refine it in the future. much like how DF Crafting was well received and tweaked upon for TWW.

Yeah it got so bad even doing pug dungeon runs that i gave those up as well. Thats why i love the delves an follower dungeons. I really cant wait for the launch of the new story mode raid thing later in the expansion. I don't care about getting gear i just want to be able to see the story through to the end after all the time i put in to the campaign.

definitely not like Torghast where you had to blaze through it ASAP in order to get enough stars to progress. there will also be variances in objectives as well, so it's not going to get stale as quickly. plus Delves are not mandatory, highly recommended but not mandatory. they are what Torghast SHOULD have been, if anything.
yeah, i have a question, how well can you farm Crests doing Delves? can you even obtain the type of Crests needed to upgrade Hero track gear? and if so, how many Delves would this take, strictly doing Delves to cap out on Hero tier?
yeah, he's hilarious - like a real random shooting pugger! - I've seen lots of people complaining about the healing but I think it's been ok; just keeping stepping the bottles, and make sure you have the titan light orb thingy enabled and it's totally fine. The only death I've had in a delve so far was fall damage and wish I could blame Brann for it but ahem, I can't.
Aye agreed Brann can be a pain sometimes. Even getting in the way of stuff but he's having the time of his life doing it. Healing is fine too. Those sharks are a fucking nuisance tho.
If everything is dead, Brann's bird mount directs its attacks harmlessly at the character's location. I'm always looking around to see who's attacking me.

Alright, question, Should I just be saving my coffer keys for when the season opens since it'll reward better gear at higher level delves since we are locked behind tier 3 right now. Also is there a max number of keys you can earn each week and or hold in your bag at a time?
Everyone gets a buff that allows them to breath and walk as if on dry land. It's not much of an "underwater" experience outside of the aesthetic. And thank god for that.
@@gscgold I meant inside the delve. It's not a class buff. It's a just a buff that gets applied to you when you interact with a bubble inside the delve.
I don't know if it's just mine or I'm doing something incorrectly, but when I choose healing, the healing is so miniscule that it's laughable. Dude had a healing beam thing on me and it was literally doing 7hp per tick. The little potions he throws out does next to nothing as well. So, I swapped him to DPS to see if that was a little more useful but I don't think it was.
Random question. How do I get more renown from the Voldunai? :D I want to get the Alabaster Hyena, but there are no events that I could do there. Only the dungeon, but the last boss bugged out and did progress with the heals. I want to commit to the Vulpera meme
I know the coffer key shards come from world quests, radiant echos, and public events, etc… but after doing all of them, I was left with 21 coffer shards. Is there a better way to farm these Bc I’m boutta lose it if I have to wait 5 days just to get the delver Mount. If that turns out to be the case I’m quitting WoW again
i did the theater trope 3 times and never got a coffer key, ive never gotten a coffer key in my entire life honestly anyone know why? cant seem to figure out how to get them..
Someone in here said only the first three levels of difficulty are available right now so its on the easier side….but should get spicy sfter they open it up to the harder levels 🌶️
actually they are, but here is the caveat. you are only allowed to get so many coffer keys per week and this includes the events, i believe that it caps at 2-3 keys and you'll have to buy any additional keys if you want more Bountiful loots. this is to keep the neckbeards from spamming too much and the casuals from feeling left behind. this also keeps the World First Raiders from spamming keys to death in hopes of gearing to full 606 just doing Delves.
@@UltimateGamerCC Maybe it bugged out then for me and 2 guildiea. It was the first event we did and neither got a key. I did got my 1st key with an event in ringing deeps though today

They are soft locked at the moment, they will be better after the official launch. Gear, the keys you need for the epic chests and higher levels will be out when the first season starts.
How devles unlock the different tiers in the great vault is confusing AF. The tooltip wording is pointlessly vague. Also, I'm enjoying the delves. I despise mythic dungeons and raiding. These are nothing like Torghast, which I found to be a dismal and boring grind.
Somebody please help, my afk thing won't work, when I move still says I'm afk, so I typed /afk, it said no longer afk, I logged out thinking it would fix it, but it still saying afk when I move, how do I go back to game afk meter?

Delves are hard, take long to complete and i don't get better or similar gear than from dungeons. I don't understand what i do wrong, but i can't see the appeal
Literally just read from someone else they're so easy they're walking simulators. You can't go past rank 3 right now which is still easy mode, of course the rewards aren't great.

bruh, you're doing Delves in the pre-season, you wont start accessing good gear until Sep 10th when Season 1 begins and you can go deeper than Tier 3. just focus on gaining experience for Brann and he'll be able to help.
@@Jayco2855 --- That's why you need to level your companion or get better gear. You're not honestly saying you think you should be able to roll every tier in a matter of days. It's solo progression. Otherwise everyone would get to tier 8 on S1 release and have the best Delve gear in a matter of weeks...

Delves are pain, if the way to stop to void is in delves. I’ll join the void army instead of doing delves. Getting Shadowlands flashbacks, all hail to void not going into delves. That spore one was the last one I did. Candle was okay but on a melee that one feels like a pain.
I play ret and really enjoyed the candle and totem ones. Makes you think about your movement. I ddint like the underwater one though. Seemed breath went away too quickly
with 12 different Delves and varied objectives, you should stop listening to the doomers, they are merely afraid of losing their feeling of being special. besides, it's not as if the game doesnt get repetitive, anything can get repetitive when you do it too much. just dont burn yourself out grinding them.
People like different things, this is a way for Blizzard to keep the game relevant for everyone. Who are these "high-end" players? Wow is for everyone, not just the people that spend 24/7 streaming the game.

Delves are actually fun, people say it's the same as Torghast, but I'm having way more fun with Delves then I ever had with Choreghast.
Torghast got fun after they completely revamped it later during SLands.
But I do agree, delves are more interesting. More variety and features.
The different settings and themes in Delves are great. Tourghast was just grey, with extra grey and a bit of blue.

Atleast delves doesn’t require you to deal with the toxic player base! I don’t touch mythics or raids, haven’t for years.

It does sound quite a bit like Torghast to me, I haven't tried it yet, tho. It ain't a problem for me anyway, I actually enjoyed Torghast.
The concept is the same but the themes and the mechanics gave it a new touch.

as far as we know, yes. this still allows you to form a party if you really want to.
I’ve found Bran gets knocked out way faster as dps then heals.

Personally not feeling the delves which makes me nervous as they seem a big feature.
Why they locked tier 4+ behind stupid quest chain is beyond me.
HOW is a delve not just Torghast
Torghast was a barrier for progression. Delves are optional. And they provide solid gear pieces.
Torghast was mandatory because you needed soul ash. So you were forced to do torghast weekly if you pushed raid or high end mythics
Not a lot of XP in delves. AT least up to lvl 3 delves its not worth lvling in delves.
it's more an endgame feature than a leveling feature.

chunky, but do think of the XP being more for Brann than yourself. as it's meant to be endgame rather than something to grind levels with.

How devles unlock the different tiers in the great vault is confusing AF. The tooltip wording is pointlessly vague. Also, I'm enjoying the delves. I despise mythic dungeons and raiding. These are nothing like Torghast, which I found to be a dismal and boring grind.

Somebody please help, my afk thing won't work, when I move still says I'm afk, so I typed /afk, it said no longer afk, I logged out thinking it would fix it, but it still saying afk when I move, how do I go back to game afk meter?
Search for afk or away in your settings. There's an option remove afk when you move.
@jerryemert3251 ty ty ty that's what fixed it, idk how that happened, never messed with any afk stuff but yea, was titled " automatic afk on/off after moving " first category under options

Delves are hard, take long to complete and i don't get better or similar gear than from dungeons. I don't understand what i do wrong, but i can't see the appeal
Literally just read from someone else they're so easy they're walking simulators. You can't go past rank 3 right now which is still easy mode, of course the rewards aren't great.
@@Toastybees How are they easy? It takes me 15 minutes to complete a level 2 delve, leve 3 are impossible to beat for me. Level 80 Affliction Warlock, gs 538
bruh, you're doing Delves in the pre-season, you wont start accessing good gear until Sep 10th when Season 1 begins and you can go deeper than Tier 3. just focus on gaining experience for Brann and he'll be able to help.
@@Jayco2855 --- That's why you need to level your companion or get better gear. You're not honestly saying you think you should be able to roll every tier in a matter of days. It's solo progression. Otherwise everyone would get to tier 8 on S1 release and have the best Delve gear in a matter of weeks...
@@Liofa73 No no, that is absolutely not what i‘m saying. But people make it sound like as if that was possible and i was wondering if i missed out on something. All i wish for was more xp in delves, and i said that they are quite hard in my opinion for a rather low reward.

Delves are pain, if the way to stop to void is in delves. I’ll join the void army instead of doing delves. Getting Shadowlands flashbacks, all hail to void not going into delves. That spore one was the last one I did. Candle was okay but on a melee that one feels like a pain.
I play ret and really enjoyed the candle and totem ones. Makes you think about your movement. I ddint like the underwater one though. Seemed breath went away too quickly

I think the high end players were right. These seem like they’ll get really dull really quickly.
with 12 different Delves and varied objectives, you should stop listening to the doomers, they are merely afraid of losing their feeling of being special. besides, it's not as if the game doesnt get repetitive, anything can get repetitive when you do it too much. just dont burn yourself out grinding them.

No. Solo content is saving WoW, which nearly died in Shadowlands when all it had was repetitive grinding for sweaty packlords.
