I've had 2 different Spark incentives that I was never paid. It seems to be common. I enjoy working for Spark but I only take jobs that are worth it at their value...I don't count on their incentives.

Why can't people just be honest, every where I work Flex/ Spark all! Scammers making it hard for us that are honestly working Legit! They come with a Bot snatcher, from diffrent towns and 2 accounts etc. I hope they get caught, amazon Flex caught about a dozen hope it happens at Spark all they do is brag about stealing orders from others and using airport mode which they were told not too!
I just started Spark on Saturday and made close to 500 Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Pretty good tips in app and cash. Waiting on 80 bucks incentive pay. Easy money. The only thing I don't like is when Walmart is short on employees the wait time is ridiculous.
In both zones I work spark delivery we can experience pick up wait times well over an hour…I cancel now at 30min to not affect my metrics but then the pay is only $2.50. Spark in general is a real mental frustration game & challenge mainly because it is so corrupt & mismanaged… but if you can handle the inconsistency & random crap~there is money to be made.
Man I want to drive for spark so bad because the Walmarts around me are so active but the spots are filled 😢 will I ever get a chance to join with you guys or should I give up my hopes? (Genuine question)
You gotta go to indeed see if they are hiring in a zone near you - these are stores they are short on drivers or hiring more post DoorDash - these applications are accepted immediately - other zones people wait for months and never hear back from spark on what the deal is
That $300 isn't an incentive in my area. They messed with me really bad once, recently. 13 cases of water delivered to a 2nd floor apartment, no elevator. The order was dropped by 4 drivers before me, during pickup, so it was already late before I took it. The store canceled the order while I was delivering, but the app followed through like normal. I had to email for a week, got approved to get paid and then rejected again. They kept saying someone else had a photo of delivery, but the order required the customer's signature. On a different note, if you're waiting at the store for more than 30 minutes from scheduled arrival for pickup, you can cancel without hurting your metrics. They say you get paid for pickup, here it's $2.52, plus compensation for your time. I'm trying to find the compensation pay in my earnings, haven't found it yet. I do about one trip per hour, $20-$30/hr, and sit 20-40 min each hour. 4 to 15 miles round trip each, normally.
Love your videos you've helped me so much considering I'm in the pittsburgh area as well. Carniege walmart is 1 mile from my house so I'm very lucky with that.
Get an OBD2 reader so you can see what is wrong with your car before you take it to someone so they can fix it. When they want more money out of you and they know you don't know anything about cars they break something else or don't fix what you wanted them to fix so you have to come back. Definitely use an OBD2 reader and UA-cam to learn about your car. My boyfriend taught me things and I work on my own car now. I go to Ebay for parts and UA-cam for knowledge. I also have a manual on my car. I have a 1996 Toyota Camry 2.2 l 4 cyl with almost a 140,000 miles. It runs like a top because of my boyfriend and I. Don't let no mechanic shop take advantage of you again.
I was thinking the same thing when Mike said his check engine light came on and the engine wasn’t running good just a week or two after getting it worked on. Some auto repair shops, especially dealership repair shops, will charge you for doing nothing and just reset the onboard computer to temporarily turn off the check engine light only to have it turn on again 50 to 300 miles later. I have my own OBD2 reader also. I try to do any maintenance and repair work my car needs myself. I never owned a new car and had to learn to make my cars last.
Mike. your market is terrible. I make deliveries and I am 7 minutes from a different Walmart. I get 14 deliveries a day. also. apply what you do for things like Uber. cherry pick. small item count, short distance.

You could always try to multiapp to find orders that go back to a Walmart. Granted, that is not always possible and many Walmart orders go out to places without other restaurants around, or very few. So there is more dead miles with Walmart orders but it's not too bad of a difference.
This is comparable to what I gross doing DoorDash - I work five to six hours per day and usually make around $100 gross including tips. I keep considering trying Spark, but every time I watch one of your videos about Spark it seems like more hassle and strategy thinking than I like. So: Thanks for doing the work showing us your experience, it really helps to know this stuff.
I just made $212 in 5.66 hours yesterday doing solo Spark in the hood. Spark is way better than DD where I am. But I don't count any app out, I have 13 apps on my phone.
So i just started last week. And they didn't post the second incentive pay of $60. For a total of $110 in incentives. I haven't done another delivery since. I wont until i get paid the plus $400 owed me.
I have one store in my area that I have to sign for the pick up. This particular store will not allow me to place any part of the order in my front seat, either (I like to put bread, eggs, ect in a 'safer' area). The other 6 stores in this zone do not require signing. The associate stated that all stores are supposed to have the driver sign, but I have not seen this anywhere else. Also, the placement icons are an option the associate has on their software. Most stores don't do it, but I have two that some of the associates will use the directional icons.
Just curious. When doing Walmart Spark, do you avoid Self Checkout? Because I heard Walmart is notorious for prosecuting people who |"accidentally" shoplift like mis-scanning items.
Gig insurance is almost always for Gig's ( Lyft, Uber. Uber eats etc.) that offer insurance while you are on the paid portion of the ride. Spark doesn't offer any insurance at any time so you need Commercial Insurance - not a gig rider. In my area - for me - an extra $230 mo.
state farm gives a huge discount if you insure 2 cars. people always say it's expensive and I think that's because they only insure one car. even if both you and your roommate have state farm, it counts as two cars in the household so you get the discount. my sister and i live in the same place and have separate billing and everything but get the discount. state farm is excellent as far as their support and willingness to pay for accidents etc. i had a couple incidents with my car and thought I was going to have to duke it out with them but they just paid me
Signing for the pickup at least in my market seems to depend on the store. I heard lot of drivers picking up and not marking picked up and then canceling order to basically keep the goods. Stores where that has been happening enact the sign for option
Ok so in my area, Spark is awesome. There are many walmart stores here. My problem is I'm getting my degree right now for hospitality and tourism. I'm gonna have a decision to make. Sigh
I want to get on Walmart Spark. Not sure what the hang up is. Shows my W9 and car insurance missing from my phone and won't let me log in on the app. When I go on the computer they are there, but my account is still pending. They haven't even attempted to access my background check yet.
Great demo...do you have any video's that show label scanning at pickup and drop off... i did one walmart grocery drop off and employee used my phone to scan a code,but at drop off it makes you scan again and i did not know which label??? so i was not able to do... i tried scanning label on an item in bag,but it would not work... thanks
The customers names & order numbers are on the labels & on your phone in the app delivery process. You simply read the customer info & match the label. The item bar codes have nothing to do with spark delivery at all.
You maybe understand wrong if you don't get 300 in 15 trip you get the difference if in 15 trip you only get 250 they gonna make the $50 dollars to make it

I got an incentive bonus of $48 last night and it usually just went into my branch on Tuesdays but now I have ONE and It’s showing it came in last night on my spark account but it’s not in my ONE account? I thought it was supposed to be immediate now. Has anyone else had this problem? I know it says 14 days but it’s showing on my spark account so I’m not sure why it’s not in my ONE account.
Your Walmart isn’t that busy my stores got 30 or so pick up spots. Weekends are terrible wait times. Nights they are ready faster or early mornings The associates put the location on the app
State Farm let's you go up to 20 hours a week (part time) doing gig delivery work with no extra cost! They did quote me about $11 more if I wanted to do ride share. I like that they now label the back seat and trunk but last weekend they mislabeled it twice! I am now making sure I scan the sticker BEFORE I take the items out of the trunk. Last weekend though one label was ripped so I had to get a code from support because I couldn't get it to scan and I got all the way to the second customer before realizing they had the trunk order marked as the back seat and I had to drive back and give them the right order. I'd say 80% of the time I wait less than 5 minutes to get my order. Every now and then I wait 10 or 15 Why would you not drive your Y?? It's so much cheaper to drive. That's why I love my 3 and I do not mind as much taking longer runs when needed and I get too drive my car that I love and it's fun. I can't wait to get my Y next year or I may now wait for an Aptera.
If it's 15+ plus wait, what about doing a food delivery after you get the Spark order, or will they not start putting it together until you get there, resulting in a 15 min wait regardless?
I do that all time. I take a spark offer, start trip then I try to take whatever delivery from other apps that drops me off near the store. Its been awesome. And no they are working on the offer as soon as its shown. But depending on how busy they are, it can be back logged pretty easily. To clarify I am not confirming my arrival, I am just taking orders inbetween and my metrics are all green. Once I confirm my arrival and choose my parking bay, I stay put til I get my order.
you aren't allowed to check in and leave. a lot of the time the order is ready but you're just waiting for them to have someone to bring it out. so to avoid waiting you would have to check in, leave and do food delivery, then come back which isn't allowed
Best way to get your Spark account deactivated. If you check in on the app & leave & they bring the order out & you’re not there it’s like fraud/lying & saying you are waiting but not & the store will report you & your spark life is over.
I've been driving a long time too but gig driving is different and exposes you to more risk regardless. you may be able to get insurance at the same price you're already paying. you could have a medical issue while you're driving. you'd want to be insured for that
Also what I found out Grubhub and sparks are the same per hour $27 in my market if I had to choose which one to do it would be Grubhub wayyyy less work.

I got paid like 260!!! My total for the week picking up 15 orders was $481 thats approximately $32 an hour! :) I was pretty happy about it :)

They'll pay up, as long as you meet the requirements. I've got over 500 trips and haven't had a single incentive not pay when I hit it.

yes. they actually paid. I have had pay issues with spark occasionally... but only when there is a major outage in the app

Good luck getting that wait time pay. I’ve had them tell me several times I would get additional pay for my wait time, but it has never shown up.

I always get the batch orders only about 99% of the offers they send me are all paired batch orders !

I agree you just have to find a sweet spot for Spark in your area where you can do 2 orders in the morning and 2 in the evening.

Prius for gig work best car for it in my opinion big back to fit those 65 inch tv and plenty of room for orders from spark.
Just buy an OBDII reader, they are really cheap and will give you an idea of what that check engine light is pinging on.

so its saying that will make the difference up if those 15 orders dont equal over 300. lets say you made 250. they will give you 50 more...

Sometimes they dont send it till the Tuesday regular pay period. I don't know why.

could be a fuel injector issue with car...
been driving 45 years and been lucky only had a couple of fender benders... If i do get in accident it will be very unlikely my fault...
