Can we just comment that Emile feels grossed out by a CLOSED CAN of fruit juice inside of a trash can but not by a HAMBURGER? I mean, the hamburger obviously had much more contact with trash than the juice... You only need to clean the can and you are ready to go

It's amazing that Earthbound's localization was able to translate the game's humor almost spot on

chuggaaconroy Paper Mario: TTYD, Pokemon Soul Silver, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Okami, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time + Bowsers Inside Story, Super Mario Galaxy, Pokemon Black, and Xenoblade Chronicles are games that I bought because of your influence. Without your Lets Plays, I probably would have never experienced these games for myself. So thanks for that.
This LP has been so laid back so far. As much as I love Emile's usual dedication to detail, this feels so much simpler, like it's just another playthrough for him. I love it.
Well this RPG is no Pokemon so It might be why it feels that way but it does start to pick up later on in the story.

14:11 "Hint men" don't actually appear on the map until you've spoken to them at least once. In a true completionist run, that's just one more checkmark to make as you play through as you'll need to talk to each one to add their location to each town's map.

Problem is not "power of friendship" but when it is used as cliche. There need to be reason why friendship is relevant as there is a reason why simple melody defeat alien overlord in the first game. Worst offender are shows where it literally give people powers, just because. Though to be honest as great this game is, it has weakest ending in whole series.

I forgot how useful your let's plays are, you do a very good job of providing accurate information to the game, like a walkthrough but less intensive, more lax, it definitely keeps the feel of a let's play which I haven't bothered watching in quite a while.

The hint guy is honestly helpful because if you come back to the game after a while there are points where you could forget what you need to do next and saves you time instead of going to try and finish all of the things you may have done already

I've become a huge Earthbound fan from watching Chugga's original Let's Play of it (even though I don't have the skills to play through it myself) and I'm so happy he's replaying it for us!! I can barely wait for each new episode, especially with all the new little tidbits of info he's throwing in! LOVE IT!!!!

chugga, this was the lp that got me into the Mother series for the first time, 10 years ago. Mother 3 is now my favorite game ever, with EarthBound not far behind it. Watching you play through this game again is awesome, and hopefully we'll see the other 2 games again as well.

Syndicates and Cartels are official types of business organization (BBC is Syndicate and OPEC is a Cartel), what only is popular amongst crime organization due to they decentralized nature. When I was growing up, we had a SNES, but not a copy of EarthBound. In fact, I didn't even know it was a thing until I unlocked Ness in Super Smash Bros on the N64. I can see why you love the game as much as you do Chugga. Just these first three episodes alone have so much charm both in-game and from your commentary. Keep it up!

Hey CC, I'm not one to leave comments usually, but I just wanted to say your series on Xenoblade Chronicles made me fall in love with Let's Plays. I had never gotten to play the OG Xenoblade myself and truly felt like I had missed out on what I had been told was a great game. Playing such a massive game with my busy schedule seemed impossible, but I loved the journey allowed us to tag along with you on. You do a great job with these classic/timeless games. Thank you for what you do my friend. Giving you the props you deserve!
