I have one of these inflators for 3-4 years now. It’s worth it’s weight in gold. It’s come in handy more times than I can count. I drive with one of these and a plug kit in my truck most of the time you don’t need to change a tire you can fill the tire with inflator while plugging the tire still on the truck when you get a screw/nail etc in your tire. On vaca it fills floats and air beds nieces and nephews bicycle tires. . You can own a compressor but most people can’t drive around with one this is perfect for behind the seat or in the trunk etc. middle of night on the side of the road. I’ve helped friends neighbors myself with this tool .

I got this deal as a combo last December it came with the inflator, battery, 3/8 impact wrench and a socket set and ratchet for $150 it is a great combo set the inflator is a great product use it almost once a day to top off tires. The impact wrench is not meant to take off lug nuts but good to work on under the hood

OPPPS got out of the van and realized immediately that i had left it connected, except for some cosmetic damage this thing works as new ....love my milwaukee tools !!!!

They're convenient. Works good for just topping off car tires 4-5psi but great for mowers too. Nice part is that you don't have to have a tire gauge. Just set it hook it up and walk away.

I have a few of them and they're great. This summer they had some "special buy" labeled kits with the inflator, charger, battery, and the top off for $99. As long as you're not trying to air up past about 85 psi it works great (I killed one trying to air up a tire on my service truck).

Honestly this thing is worth the $120 tool only. I got it for the $99 a couple of years ago and it gets used on a regular basis. Fits under the backseat of my F250 with about a half inch to spare before it hits the bottom of the seat. All of my trailer tires are 14ply 110psi and my truck tires are 35x12.50R20 12ply 65psi. This inflator will get a trailer tire up to 70-80 psi with a couple batteries and will get a truck tire to 65 psi no problem(both from 0 psi). It doesn’t bother me to take a sec (especially if you just plugged a 14ply on the side of the road) and sit in the truck while it fills up. Auto shut off a nice feature. It’ll get pretty hot after filling a trailer tire, but it works every time I use it. My girlfriend calls me with a flat 2-4x a year and I can meet her wherever for 10 minutes and we’re both back on the road. This is one of the most underrated milwaukee tools and $99-$120 to not be on the side of the road waiting on AAA is a move

I have one of those. Used it for a few years, it inflates quicker than any other battery inflator. It is great for topping off small tires and occasionally a large tire. Mine started acting up after a year of regular use, I dissected it and found the reciprocating piston is very cheaply made, Black and Decker even uses better materials. I gave it to my wife for her to top off her car tires until it dies. I do give it to Milwaukee, it is fast and efficient, a 10/10. But durability is a 3/10. The Black and Decker 20v inflator, although slower, is much more durable.

it works good for what it is, specially for atv's but i have also used it for vehicles as well. However my dislike is it is bulky and it does not have a 12v cord if the battery dies which it will on a large tire. a better choice i feel for storage and usability is the Ridgid 18v digital inflator R87044 (hybrid) this one works much better and comes with a 12v cord if you dont want to use the battery and a quick release for connectiong to the valve stem instead of having to screw it on like Milwaukee. I carry the ridgid in my SxS and ATV with ease unlike the Milwaukee. The both work much better then any other 12v compact inflator i have used in the past. Oh and the Ridgid come with the LSA so how can you go wrong with that. If you use a larger battery it will just extend the run time not make it fill any faster generally speaking obviously there are things that can affect output.

Hey! I've had this tool for a long time.. For smaller tires like bikes and things.. Id recommend setting a 2-3 PSI less than the PSI you actually want, as there is a delay between when the reading shows, and what it actually is. I found that it would routinely go a few PSI higher than I set it. Hope this helps. Also I would recommend getting a 6AH battery for this thing.. Definitely fills faster and lasts quite a while.

the version with the 2.0 isnt even listed on the HD website. Just the 4.0 kit or the 4.0 nd 2.0 kit.

If you are slightly forgetful, you might want to pick up more than one for just yourself. I have taken off in my vehicle with the inflator still attached. It is robust, and still works aside from not having a roll cage

Was gonna say, either got a dud, or dirt on threads and not sealing good b/c it shouldn’t cause a flat or leak, at all. How funny that would be though if did every time, 🤦🏼, trying to fill a tire or float etc….. Personally, I don’t use for tires, I use for pool floats and bike tires, as use compressor for tires since little more beefy and faster.
    Loved play on words……✌🏻

I got one of those the first winter they came out in Special Buy. I knew it was going to be good. It’s not really for inflating from fully empty and flat, just quick maintenance and such. Should have enough guts to top off a Bobcat tire also.

Air should not be leaking and should be tight . I use the inflator on the job for an air test on gas piping - new or retro fit . It’s not the fastest but I can set pressure and walk away 👍

Just got this compressor in Ireland 160€ down to around 85€ on Black Friday, it’s decent for vans with heavy loads to fill up the pressure

Vince that little inflator has saved my ass .being an carpenter got to have a tire plug kit and this guy. Sometimes I do have a compressor on the truck or trailer but hey you know you drain the tanks.do not drive around with a 130 ps I steel bomb at 65 mph...really this guy is small set it lock it on valve press button and It will inflate to set psi and shut off no squeezing a nd checking the number another squeeze. Check oops to much let some out ...not with this guy "set it and forget it" did I just do the late nite infomercial.? ?
But it's a real day saver
Add tO your orroadside kit . Or not get it's not garbage when your trailer is fishtaling cause of a low tire .unhook and go get a compressor puptank ?'triple A? No way

Works great for me. Keep it in each car. Good to top off lbs. Have to make sure to thread it and not gorilla. I think you have a return item there and exchange. Use with a 4ah and 6ah is quick enough. Consider if it's pumped up cold or the weather is too.

This thing isn't junk. I have many, many Milwaukee tools and any time my tool nerd friends ask me what my most under rated tool is, I tell them the inflator, no question.

I got a couple of kits about 2 years ago. The kit It also included the M12 power source. I believe it was about $70 or $80. I got two one for my car and one for the wife's car. I couldn't believe the price considering the power source is about $49 on its own. I got very lucky that day.
