Sun Rise not at all... Every year Apple bring out processors that are ahead of the competition, this year is no different. They have a great screen (Granted, it’s made by Samsung but designed and optimised by Apple), software optimisation, ram management... The camera on the Pixel 4 is pretty much the same as last years Pixel 3, they’ve gone lazy on the camera software. Let’s wait until the Pixel has a few software updates and Apple brings out Deep Fusion to give it a second chance!

The front facing camera has many cool features
Ultra wide is the best of all phones
*Samsung:* pictures have more saturation to make them seem more pleasing to the eye...
The 960fps slow mo feature is just amazing

Mostly good in low light, and astrophotography...
However the low light pictures seem over exposed

Believe • it must be an update but my iPhone XS Max is terrible in ram management now. Like much more noticeable. I’m running the later IOS. Everything else is good but we definitely need 6GB. It shouldn’t cost Apple that much since we are already paying a premium.
The note 10+ has a setting called HDR10+ which really improves the dynamic range

Overall I say samsung wins. It is so close in video despite being a three year old sensor and it has night mode that can be activated manually. Sharper wide angle lens with stablization and night mode. Super slow motion, better audio etc

I think I prefer the colors of the Note10 overall. It's definitely clear though that it does over blow photos but I think that can be accounted for by lowering the exposure a bit.
Also is it me or does Google make the colors look fake in their night photos?
Either way I don't think you can go wrong with any of these phones well except for the blunder that is the lack of wide angle on the pixel (seriously what was google thinking?)

Phenomenal comparison. Finally all caught up on where the top smartphones of 2019 are at in terms of camera. Glad Apple caught up with Google in outdoor shots. The face retouch of Google Pixel cameras makes the selfies a little less over sharpened or reduces the roughness of one's face.
Again, you can't go wrong with any of them, pros and cons cancel out when compared to each other. Though

The iPhone can also record 4k 60fps with the front camera and it supports OIS and EIS on the back camera even on 4k 60fps.
No OIS on the ultra wide, though. And no Night Mode on the front camera, telephoto, or ultra wide.
Skopin No phone on the market has OIS on the ultrawide because it doesn’t need it. And also there is a night mode on the telephoto camera. And the front camera is easily the best on any phone because of its HDR and 4K 60fps
@@aaronrajala4271 The telephoto does not get Night Mode. The only one that works with Night Mode is the main wide lens on the rear. Zoomed in shots with Night Mode use digital zoom from the main wide angle lens.
And the front camera also doesn't have night mode, which limits it's usefulness.

Not every segment... It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner, it doesn't support USB Type C which is just ridiculous, it doesn't have a high refresh rate display, and Siri is still atrocious compared to the likes of Google Assistant and Alexa - mind you though, it's still better than Bixby. The reason reviewers are referring to software optimisations is that that's exactly what made the Pixel camera so great, not the lens, but the software that drove it. Everything about the Pixel camera, like any other smartphone camera, can be altered through software, all it takes is one tweak here and one tweak there and it could be instantly improved, only time will tell, just drop the saltiness, it's a phone...
Apple have done good this year, especially relative to last year. Other Android phones have done better though I'd say; OnePlus 7 Pro knocked it out of the park this year. I'm talking about the overall package though - not just cameras.
Try the note 10 in everything but photography.

I'd say it's a tie with apple and Samsung in terms of photos. Samsungs sharpens and maps up the color quite a bit. Apple stays true to life. Agree that googled failed this year so far.

Both samsung and apple did a fantastic job with the camera...and even google (while not having the best camera) still having really good quality...you can compare the camera's all you want but are you really going to notice when they are not side by side? I think if you give a professional photographer an apple or samsung phone he/she wil make some incredible photo's and wih incredible quality hahaha my point is that phones are getting close to or even better than some 1k+ camera's from a few years ago

Google spent so much this year on gimmicks like the Soleil camera but forgot about design and standard flagship features. They aren't comparing this to the iPhone 11 they are comparing it to the pro.

You're waiting another 4-5 months for the s11, and once the S11 is out, it only takes another 6 months for the new iphone 11s which is supposed to be a very new design. Its a constant 6 months cycle between each phone lol

Dude it's because ultrawide was not normal at that time but at 2019 every premium smartphone should have Ultra wide camera and that's why everybody is being concerned for it Google does a very dumb job by providing telephoto camera instead of ultrawide camera
