On the topic of Inverted mode on Scale helis, here's my advice to any company making scale models:
Instead of putting 'inverted' modes, concentrate on making the model even more "scale". Maybe give it more lighting (strobes, markers, spots - adequate for night flight) which can be controlled remotely. Maybe put more advanced (yet scale) flight modes like high input rates, and a mechanism to PREVENT going inverted. Maybe try to add a beginner-friendly simulation of autorotation. More scale gimmicks to consider: add a speaker with simulated scale turbine sounds or the ability to record and playback announcements. add a remotely operated drop hook you can use to move a scale cargo from a take-off point to a place of the pilot's choosing. Just think of all the things (appearance, functionality, or mission simulation) that could be done for scale models, which would tick more boxes than "push-button inverted flight".
Inverted flight doesn't really belong on "scale". Now if someone has a scale model (e.g. XK K123) which is capable of 3D, that's another story. If makers of 3D heli's (scale or otherwise) want to add "beginner friendly inverted" modes (such as FlyWing has done), that's fine.
wish they could think like you and us and they will be the leading heli company. but they are still living in their close shells where they think what they offer is what everyone wants LOL. I totally agree with you that instead of offering pointless features, they could at least offer us a BNF version to radiomasters and that would be more than enough. what you said, if they could do, these would be the best helis out there.

Hello aliexpress is now selling the f06 rc helicopter flight control kit DFC controller for $44.12.all you need to do is get a SBUS receiver board that works with it and then you can bind it to any radiomaster transmitter

Excellent flight. Would you be willing to open it up and show us the frame, servos, motor, controller and wiring?. Please, talk about the head speed of the main and tail motor, flight time, battery charging time, battery alarm (in which voltage it is triggered), show us the charger. In case of loos of radio connection, what happens? How far can it go safely? How about the durability of the motors? I have seen some cases of F09 and F09-S with failed tail motors. Thank you for the brilliant info always!

Great review, Q so i presume its not fix pitch if it can invert but why not go whole hog and make it true 3D rather than push button. Does it use cp to go up and down?
they have their own reasons to do these strange things. When i spoke to them about this point, they said, no scale helis should not do 3d but then they put this pointless click and go inverted feature saying maybe some people want it. its a funny thinking

Hello !! The manual says nothing about the "trim buttons" except two beeps for the small trim and one beep for the large trim? I don't understand what it is, can we trim in a classic way on the front rear, right side, left side, etc. like a classic helicopter? or are they completely different functions?😀 I find myself better in the F09 and F09S that I bought from RC GOING but with this f06 helicopter I am still in great hesitation, especially since I fear that it is a duplicate purchase!! 😀
i do not think so. they just made the trim too complicated because possibly their radio which they bought from someone, just comes with such complex trim feature, nothing simple like others. sadly we have to use it. you can bind F06 with your F09S radio and have better option to fly it

One question Ali: This sweet little machine does this inverted flying "automatic" or do you have to fly it by yourself with negative pitch like a 3D collective pitch heli as the OMP M2 is? It's a very sweet machine!!
once you go inverted following a process that works only when helicopter is 10 meters or higher, then you have to control throttle like a 3D heli to make it come down or go up. warning, all controls are reversed and confusing so careful

Nice flight. Agreed that inverted looks stupid. Obviously the radio isn't very good. I am told Yuxiang developed a proprietary 2.4ghz protocol. Trying to limit your radio options to theirs. Still unsure if the board will take a satellite RX as the F09 does. Were you able to use the Boxer with your F09S? My F06 got stuck in U.S. Customs on Friday. Still waiting...
It's a shame Yuxiang wastes so much R&D on redundant protocols and silly parlor tricks.
Meanwhile, RC Era has a new 4ch offering in the MD 500 that looks interesting. Being so similar to their C187, it is strangely almost twice the price.
yes and i really hate to say that their new proprietary protocol is just to limit people from using other radios. not only that but also if any reviewer mentions about the radio, they get warning that they will be blocked from getting yuxiang productsin the future. seems they do not welcome any improvement feedback, nor they want any positive criticism. this is a very arrogant behavior and they are playing a same dirty game that has bankrupted many companies in China over time. if they listen to us reviewers and listen to customers, they will build a trust to their names, and stay in business longer. but the cocky attitude to block other radios, limit options, not welcoming feedback and criticism, its only gonna hurt them in long run
i will do some experimentation once i find time. these days in thailand, too busy to go around with family. i hope i can bind it to boxer and if so, i will post a detailed video about this.
yes rc era, it seems its coming from the company that is owned by yuxiang owners brother and again, they just want to sell at higher prices to make more profits.
if yuxiang makes their helis BNF to radiomaster or other opentx, edgetx, futaba, imagine how much more they can sell. but again, as i said, if they keep it up, they will only hurt themselves.

Poster "I am fly dragon" on RCGroups works at Yuxiang in some capacity and is very defensive of any criticism of Yuxiang or their products. "Just buy our other radio if you don't like it." 🤣All while groveling for everyone's support.

If we can get it to bind to a less proprietary Tx (e.g. RadioMaster), it would be a hit. Thanks to ALISHANMAO showing us how to bind the Esky 150 to Boxer, I placed an order for one (and the Tx it arrives with will go into a box with all the other RTF transmitters I don't use).
i 100% agree with you, they are losing a big chunk of sales and loads of profit by limiting our options to their crappy radio that no one even wants to look at. but again, its their company and their future they want to decide. we can only give them suggestions sincerely
