Hi everyone, it's been a while! I know I kinda disappeared again, the thing is, I had to get another surgery done, this time on my right hand and it took quite a bit of time for me to recover - I had to stop playing for a month and it took another month and a half to get back into shape for recording. In the meantime I've been quite busy with writing new music, including a guitar cycle, a suite of sorts consisting of five pieces. I'm planning to release the whole suite once I record it, so it probably will take a bit more time, but I might share some snippets before release, so stay tuned! Anyway, today I want to share with you a fragment of the classical guitar piece I'm currently practicing, two variations from Weiss' Passacaglia, apologies for camera going crazy a few times with lighting and colors :D, hope you'll enjoy this one!
It does! This piece is written by Silvius Leopold Weiss, baroque lutenist and Bach's contemporary. He is perhaps the closest thing to Bach we got in classical guitar repertoire that is not Bach himself :)
