Honestly this is pure torture watching you show us all these beautiful great priced items that I live to far to buy.I can never get over the items and prices when our restore is nothing like this and pricey. The wood entertainment cabinet at 3:33 with all the drawers in the bottom would be a neat piece to refinish. You could use it for a lot of things and it had a unique look. Give me the lead glass candlestick holders at 10:36, they were beautiful. And who can resist getting the mini cheesecake pan to make pumpkin dog treats in. I liked the 2 old children's books too. How did you leave the store without those candlestick holders? Let me wipe the tears from my eyes. See you next time Kelly!

I did a quick google search of Billy Joe and found he passed away in December. He was a beloved teacher and principal for many years. He had many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with his wife… Janice. I guess it didn’t work out with Mary Jean.

Loved everything in the silent auction. Who doesn’t need a death star wall hanging? 😂 and I loved Ernest Hemingway’s bamboo bureau. The $80 storage cabinet was amazing!! The $80 oil painting was amazing. Those are all red poppies in the front. They’re all over France and Italy. I too love the nostalgia of the old slamming screen door on the spring!! Love the Disney selection of books, I would’ve loved that as a child! My son would love the Star Wars selection of things! Loved the coffee table on auction, and the two piece entertainment Center, gorgeous!

Beautiful multi-seasonal shade garden design! Love the luscious drifts. So dynamic and impactful! One of my full sun gardens has become much shadier as trees have grown MUCH taller over the yrs. It now gets about four hrs of early morning sun and the afternoon is full shade, so would that be considered partial sun for plant selections or would you err on full shade? The garden is 10'x10' but could be expanded. I'm thinking a circle garden would be fun to design! The previous owners installed railroad ties for edging, and 24 yrs later, they are still there. It's the only garden space we haven't drastically changed, except for installing a decorative metal square gazebo with four columns and a slotted roof. Trumpet vine climbs two of the columns.

@@comegowithmetoday I should have gone to a thrift store. I went to buy a light colored purse but the only one I found that I really wanted was $129 so no purse. I bought a pair loose light weight pants and an aqua linen shirt. I needed some hair products for this fine thin crazy hair of mine. Sooo!

So many memories today! The smell of the leather ball glove and my brother's oiling them and tossing a ball in them for hours on end to break them in...tennis racket presses to keep your wooden racket from warping.... Margaret Wise Brown illustrated so many children's books.. . The painting that had a field of red poppies! Oh! And those white dishes with the blue relief, so country. Nothing better than starting our week with a fun shopping trip with Kelly! Nothing better than a diet cookbook that says eat what you love, that’s my kind of cookbook 😂. I always loved going to the library as a child too and still an avid reader, just love everything about actual books as opposed to e books. Yes to perfect attendance for me too 😂. The lead glass candlesticks were beautiful. Oh, and the cabbage patch kids were such an item that flew off store shelves in the early 80's. If it weren't for my Mom working the toy dept then, my one year old daughter wouldn't have had her Cora Deliah. All these 40 years later I remember the names of all 4 of her cabbage patch dolls. I have 3 original ones myself. So fun going down memory lane. ❤❤❤TYFS

Ugh, I fell asleep and missed it!🥱😅 I loved it when you quoted your mom about the chicken pox..."You got it there you can take it right back"!!!😂 What a practical, no nonsense, intelligent lady your little Mama is!!! Love it! I never got perfect attendance, I was a sick kid, caught everything going around 🫤. But one of my besties, Tonya, (yep we're still friends since 2nd grade), she only ever missed 1 day of school from middle school thru HS! She got all kinds of awards thru the years! Our back door had an old screen door with a spring on it too. I told you my Mamaw lived with us and helped raise me. Girl, if I let that door slam, she'd yell at me to "Get your tail back in here and go thru that door again without slamming it like you have some sense. This isn't a barn!"😬😆 I'd have to go back up the porch steps, back in the house, and out the door again making certain it shut quietly😆.I'm convinced your mother and my Mamaw would have been great friends! I really liked those blue and white dishes with the petite flowers, so pretty! That antique sofa, the Ginger jar lamp and that mid century coffee table in the auction. And I loved Raggedy Ann and Andy too! I had The Little Golden Book of Raggedy Ann and Andy went to the Fair...it was one of my favorite books! So many great memories with all The Little Golden Books! I still have many of them from my childhood that I was able to share with my children. I would scoop up any of those books now if I found them out. The sweet stories and pictures, they just don't make kids books like that anymore. Great walk thru as always! Say Hi to your mother for me! I live in south Florida and those good vintage items are not in the few Habitat Restores in my neighbourhood,, can I purchase items on line from any of the stores you visit?
