Nate, that is insane that you custom built that bumper all by yourself!! It is absolutely perfect!!! 👍 You could have your own business making those if you wanted to. This quickly became my favorite build on the channel
Good observation! We definitely have different fabrication styles. I never really have a plan I just apply ideas that I have and hope for the best! I suppose its kind of like art in a way. Thanks for watching!

Awesome bumper Nate. I am not a fan of stingers, but I really like the look of the one you made. Low enough to be functional, but doesn't distract from the lines of the Jeep!

This method is a total match with my thinkin. Looks great. Meets my structural integrity and build logic. I think the shackle should be a continuation of the frame attach plates in all of them. Just welding to the plate is very suspect. Dandahermit.
Definitely a bad ass winch bumper one off styling I know you will probably catch some grief over the techno style music but it dig it I have a Comanche project that I’m eventually going to start on once I finish my Ls swap Tj project

Awesome job on the bumper! Looks awesome.. should be super durable and no one else in the world has one like it! I have a similar shop to yours. Filled it with welders (mig and tig), 40A plasma cutter metal shear and brake, JD2 hydraulic tube bender, horizontal and vertical band saws, Bridgeport Mill and Southbend Lathe and a crapload of other fab tools. It is truly my happy place to just be in there building stuff. Building a rack for my JK hard top now and a set of 1 ton axles for my buddy's TJ. Keep it up. I love your projects!
You built one of the best looking bumpers I've ever seen, so sleek and modern looking but suits the boxy truck really well 😍 now you need a matching rear 😂 P.S. no premieres please, everyone hates them
Thank you! I never no how this stuff will look when it completed because I never have a plan lol just ideas. I happy with the way it turned out as well
Looks awesome man. I enjoy your fabrication process which is take an idea and make it work one step at a time. Sometimes I feel people over complicate it. Makes me feel more confident to just try it and work it until it’s right, if that makes sense.
Great video! As an airframe mechanic, I don't know why I haven't thought about using lightening holes on my jeep! I don't mind the music as much as the others because I use the grinder all day and don't want to listen to it at home.
The premier thing works just fine. When you see it you can click on to get a reminder that the video is up and you can watch it. I like it! On to the bumper, I think it looks amazing. Not anything that I could ever do. Nate, would you build me a bumper? I will buy the materials.
Thanks for watching the video! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. Unfortunately I dont do side work anymore but you can do this! Everybody starts somewhere!
I love everything about that truck. I love watching you build stuff on it. It gives me ideas on what I might want on future builds. But dang the music sucks lol
Sketching out bumpers and have my back one down, but the front one was a bit of a puzzle. Now it looks like I'm going to be buying the dimple die tooling...LOL Really nice bumper and project. Great ideas on it!
Bad ass bumper!! Should be plenty strong. As for thinking the frame of the truck being weaker, I never drove my Wagoneer off road, but I have pulled trees down, pulled stumps out of the ground, pulled cars and trucks sideways down the road in a fit of rage, pushed people out of the way driving forward and backward, drove through 2 feet of snow, and pulled the foundation of a house back into place. I did all this while still in the city. What you built and attached to the frame of that truck should do OK, LOL. No worries.
it looks great. i’m not being critical but you might want to invest in a new pair of gloves. i have old underwear that have less holes than those green things you call gloves
Bumper looks good, I’d maybe round the edges of the shackle points. Also I’m glad your part of the team, like the mix of wheeling & wrenching oh yeah and the diesels. Little jealous of all your fancy tools.. lol but I like watching people built stuff (learn different tricks) and it doesn’t have to be show quality just needs to gets the job done.
