If you click in the app to stop sending more orders when you are in the process of picking up an order would that mess up you trying to do a Quest of 3 orders?
Just did my first Uber Eats delivery today and it was a nightmare. WHY DOESN'T UBER HAVE A VIDEO LIKE THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE AND/OR IN THE APP?! Thank god I just found this video and I'll be much better prepared next time.

This way if one app is slow to get me orders, I can make money with the other app. Uber eats is slightly different than the doordash app. Yesterday it seemed it would not let me out of the picked up order screen to go to the next phase for the delivery, now I think I know why.

I couldn’t believe it! I made my first couple of deliveries yesterday & made more in 2 deliveries with UE than I would have with 3-4 DD deliveries during the same time. I also work for favor and they make you watch videos on how their app works. I think Uber should require anybody that wants to use their app to watch videos like this one before they're allowed to use the app. I had to learn the hard way how to figure out the app and a video like this would be very helpful if Uber offered it
Same! I work for Favor and actually started in the days where you had to ride along with someone first. Uber must think that it's a waste of money to train it's employees, I'm thus thankful for UA-cam. Especially since I got an email from Uber about my first day. Shoulda told me beforehand!

One thing I don't like is when the customer leaves a note in the app telling you to meet at door but then texts you later saying just to leave it there. Now you'll have no proof that you left it there.
Yeah, that's why always record all my deliveries! I just have my wife's old iPhone in my breast pocket recording. It also makes nice videos for my ridealongs lol.

having trouble figuring out the app. i am a bicyclist and generally set the app to not give me any more deliveries while i am on a delivery. if i do not do this the app will automatically give me more deliveries while i am on route with one delivery...difficult to do multiple deliveries.
Hello my friend! I've been having some big struggles with Uber lately. This has only been the last couple months. My issue is, Uber eats is literally making more than me, from me, excluding tips. My base pay is ALWAYS lower than what Uber takes. For example, I can do a delivery and say my base pay is 5.00 after delivery excluding tip. Ubers cut is 10.00. This isn't sometimes, this is every time. I understand Uber has to make money also but it's getting ridiculous and just seeing if anyone knows why. I took a stacked yesterday and my base/fare was 5.96. I look at what Ubers cut of that was and it was 14.00 from both orders combined. I've driven for nearly a year and this has only happened recently. I took an 80 dollar sushi order the other night and was 3 miles away. Uber paid me 3 dollars but Ubers cut was 12. What????? Am I missing something or did they change things? Thank you in advance for any responses
Good video and very informative. My one critique is that there was a section on setting up the Uber Eats driving option but I did not see where through and arrow or a person finger on what to hit in order to actually set it up. Aside from that it was very good.
P.S. If possible, leave out those pesky prompts to like the video or subscribe to the channel (both of which I did); they cover up the sample screens in the app.
The gentleman conducting this video is a gifted instructor. Excellent! He should get a PhD and teach at a prestigious university. Plus he's very 😍 😊 cute! I'd be the first in line to sign up for his class.
My only curiosity is why more people don't use a body cam to prove they delivered the goods. A photo of the order sitting in front of a door, without the complete address in the image, doesn't prove anything.
Thank you for the post, did my first delivery this morning and it was awful experience had to get on phone with support which did not help. The app was not letting me move forward after picking up the food, but I see now there should have been a checkbox next to their name after I picked up the order that there was not and the support did not explain anything..
Imagine you waited the 8 min gap. And the customer did not left a specific door #. Then you decide to eat the food then after the 1 min the customer comes out and ask where is my burger??
I don't know, but the trip you posted in the video was for $7.49 for 24 min of drive time for a one way trip, they are not considering you have to drive back from the boonies to the "hot spots" , not mention gas prices , wear and tear & possible meter fees. It just does not seem worth it. I need to know how much I need to make upfront to make at least $20 an hour ( including all the mentioned above issues), because you can wind up working for free since the gas prices are like $5 a gallon, thanks mr pres :( I put $30 in my gas tank and made $24 yesterday and used up all my gas! So I just chalked it up to a very expensive learning experience, that I won't be doing again!
Now I know how to stop getting new requests during my trip I’d rather do one trip at a time to be faster and getting new requests is kinda annoying when I’m trying to complete an order I’ve encountered so many issues with restaurants and it always happens when I’m doing two orders and makes it where I’m super late for my second drop off I’d rather avoid that it makes getting my money slower but better service
I did my first delivery today. It said leave at door but the guy was waiting outside apartments for food. Couldn't take pictures because he took the food. Damn lol 😆 THANKS FOR THE TIPS wish I found this before I delivered

I have not used ubee eats in almost 2 years. Back then they were not showing merchants or delivery area until after you accepted. Glad they fixed it.

Well, in this case you should insist the customer to meet you at the door, because he/she chose that option.

It's not this simple in mountainous areas where signal is bad. It's a whole other basket of problems.
