A major problem on UE in my area is late at night most restaurants that are 24 hours have shut down early due to having no staff! $3 for spending 15 minutes with support to confirm the closure is not worth the time. UE will keep sending drivers for an hour! DD gives half pay and usually only takes a few minutes and the merchant will be marked as closed till the morning. DD also shows a map of drop-off locations in my zone. UE shows the text address of one drop-off only on stacked orders! Unless I'm making $25 an hour for a stacked order on UE, I always decline. JFC UE! DD has been showing drop-off locations on a map for freaking ever! Do better UE!
I feel like the best advice is to use the ‘why I drive’ feature. I started delivering and saving for my wedding this may. After putting that in the profile, I’ve received many extra tips, and even cash tips from people that put ‘leave at door’.
I have never ever been rude to a customer or just rude in general but recently I did a pretty big order I made sure that they got their food warm and asap. I left them a note that said “Enjoy and have a great day!” and they tipped me 1cent! :( it really just depends on who you deliver for out here.
Nalley Hernandez I’ve had this happen to me and, I got them their food ASAP you’re right it depends on the person….if they have no class they’re crappy tippers.
I had mentioned a week ago that I should buy a hot/cold bag or container for the food & my husband said I probably won't need one but after getting a lot of deliveries last week I now know I absolutely need one. I had to deliver ice cream one day & then italian ice the next & it made me nervous. Another day I had to deliver some kind of milkshake so I might need to find a sturdy bag for that too. I don't get that many deliveries but I only go out fridays & saturdays.
About 3 weeks ago I started sending the generic text "I'm on my way" upon pick up.1/2 of my customers respond kindly and about 1/4 of those orders bump the tip from the expected pay shown when I accept the order.
Yeah I always send a message when I am at restaurant and when I am on my way, people seem to appreciate it and well you are gonna get those that don't respond and that is ok, it's the thought on your part that counts!
I do have my profile info filled out. I have been a driver for Uber Eats only for a few days now and my profile says "Saving up for my son's "forever" home. I've mad 4 deliveries so far since I do have a full time job with great pay. So far 2 out of 4 have tipped more :) These videos help Mike!
A lot of them aren’t actually getting the tips upped. I found out recently that when it says you’re waiting on like an “8 dollar tip” it ends up getting upped, Uber isn’t showing the full tip when you accept the order for some reason, a lot of people have found out about it
Profiled hack is may be the best thing I learned from this Chanel as a Uber eat driver, very useful. Those 15 20 dollars bigger orders have a better chance to get those extra tips. Easily 20 become 25 or 30 after 1 hour when u drop off the food. I even wrote down some funny comments after a order delivered just for hack those extra tips 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for this. The issue I have is uber eats never even picks me to pick up orders. While not a booming metropolis, It’s certainly not a small town either. So I don’t know if the market is just flooded or what.
I just hit platinum and I feel like I don’t make as much money as I did when I first started. Recently some 3-4 hour days only made me $60. When I first started there were some 4 hour days I made $140 or even more.
After moving to Nashville and driving for a few weeks I still have not seen any promotions, boosts, quest etc. on the app. Has this happen to anyone else or is it something specific to me?
I did Uber Eats twice. I kind of gave up the second time after Customers were ordering from restaurants in Pittsburgh when they lived pass Cranberry without giving a tip. The first time I enjoyed it! I do more Uber/Lyft rides than Uber eats.
Why do I drive? Because I can make a difference one delivery at a time! Not only say it but believe it guys! Customers will appreciate that positive vibe and in return will show you the quan:)
I have filled it out, and put my favorite foods. But I just changed why I am delivering to this: Saving towards moving out/getting married.=) Thx for the tips.
I try to keep personal money motivations out of my profile and try and go for something emotional or funny. For example my profile says: "Delivering is a way I can help people feel safer" because a ton of people are ordering through UE for that reason, and it aligns with THEIR own motivations.
Door Dash maybe number one and tip before the delivery but I don't like being on a schedule...with Uber I can go online or offline anytime...very convenient for me cuz I live in the middle of a power strip so i can wait in my house for a pick up or use my own bathroom when I need to...
If you have an XL with Uber, turn off Uber eats and wait for trip radar to pop up. Then you can pick and choose without worrying about your acceptance rate. Since you don’t get as many XL rides you can do this when you are not trying to pick up passengers
Uber Eats killed it here in South Beach, Florida. They lowered the base pay to 2.00 them you have to wait 1 hour for the tip to kick in and to get something over 5.00 you have to decline like 10 orders, Uber Eats it's not really worth it any more here in Sobe.
Unless we all get together at the same time and tell Uber we're not delivering s*** till we get more money, and stick together, it's not going to change
UE is the only service I'm able to deliver on, as I'm wait listed on all the others. I'm in the north NJ greater nyc market, very busy, can be lucrative but I've never seen any boost greater than 1.5x unless it's middle of the night, I'm jealous. Thanks for the tips! Great value as always

My experience in California ( although I only did it a few days) it’s not worth it with gas being $5.19 a gallon. Uber should compensate for ridiculous gas prices.

I would really wish uber would be more transparent without expanding your screen whether a double pick up is in the same location I'd be hesitant in not picking up doubles if they are at different lications
Yeah also sometimes one of the pick ups out the two takes much longer than the other meaning one of the orders gets cold/ melts. Especially annoying when ice cream is involved.
@@minotaurseduction But if you specifically have to go with a limited monthly plan, choose no less than 10Gb, or 25, and use your phone on the 2G Network (or 3G) ... This will only work if all the data you will use on that phone is to use Uber... If you're gonna use it for everything else all the time as your primary phone, go with the unlimited plan
The first weekend I drove for Uber eats delivery they did a promotion where every five deliveries I got $10. And I made 300 in the three day weekend. The next weekend I did just as good. Now over the next three months. I am hardly making 140 over the three days. May be lucky to make 100. I think it’s a big rip off I think it’s because I don’t take the two dollar orders. Or the orders that are 10 1520 miles away. It Hass to be there because why was it so good in the beginning?
My largest tips come from people that live in urban areas and apartments but my smallest tips come from people that live in estates and suburban areas. I have no respect for them. Agreed!!! Thought it was just me lol ..:maybe that’s why their rich 😅…:no but for real…stingy mofos…it takes everything in me not to key their bmw 😂😂or at least smash a McDonald’s bbq sauce on their windshield ….now that would be funny 😆
When a delivery request pops up and for example it says $7.45 how much of that will you earn after delivery. What is the percentage uber takes away from every trip?
It’s an estimated total that you’ll get, for instance if it shows $7.45, usually that’s the trip and tip altogether so you should be getting the $7.45 but at the same time, it’s just an estimate it can be more or less than the amount
If it says 7.45$ usually that’s the delivery and tip together for that delivery but you gotta remember you get your tip an hour later so that’s why he’s saying customer service matters! Usually the base pay that Uber gives you is less so don’t be worried when you deliver an order and it says you only made 3$ you get the tip which makes it 7.45$ p.s. Uber gives 100% of the tips I’m pretty sure so whatever tip you make it’s all yours!
@@juanbrown8823 thanks for replying. But yes that is correct. I usually don’t pay attention to my complete earnings til the next day because sometimes i be finishing late around midnight
Awww man, I have noticed that after 5 minutes driving into a surge area, that area will clear completely, then another area Pops up down the road within minutes, so then I drive to the new surge area. Again, after 5 minutes the surge completely goes away. I took multiple screens shots showing this happening one day. I have also noticed that in the area I drive for, I have yet to see a promotion even be placed in the promotion area. I have been driving since June. I'm thinking it just might be my area (Little Rock) . I do appreciate you sharing this though. 😀
Exactly the same with Door Dash…It likely doesn’t have anything to do with it actually being busy necessarily, but they may be understaffed in that area… Someone canceled the shift… Didn’t show up… Or with Uber eats not enough people logged in… They tell you it’s busy and everyone rushes over there… Then it becomes oversaturated so the region goes dark.

DD also shows a map of drop-off locations in my zone. UE shows the text address of one drop-off only on stacked orders! Unless I'm making $25 an hour for a stacked order on UE, I always decline. JFC UE! DD has been showing drop-off locations on a map for freaking ever! Do better UE!
you find yourself on uber🤣🤣🤣, uber is the worst company to work💩💩💩💩💩
Yess so many pros 🙏🏽
@@alfo_o9752 which are your top 2 then?
I feel like the best advice is to use the ‘why I drive’ feature. I started delivering and saving for my wedding this may. After putting that in the profile, I’ve received many extra tips, and even cash tips from people that put ‘leave at door’.
how do you get to the "why I drive" feature? I have checked google. and in the app and can't find that.
Bro you r a genius I recieved €10 tip today 6 orders bro hahahah than you for the quote!!
Same. I put “I drove full time Uber Eat. I love tips” and often I get tip increases.
Smart

I have never ever been rude to a customer or just rude in general but recently I did a pretty big order I made sure that they got their food warm and asap. I left them a note that said “Enjoy and have a great day!” and they tipped me 1cent! :( it really just depends on who you deliver for out here.
Can’t please everybody
Nalley Hernandez I’ve had this happen to me and, I got them their food ASAP you’re right it depends on the person….if they have no class they’re crappy tippers.
That type of people are the worst :( sorry that happened to you nena
You deliver for Trump's supporters
First night doing profile hack, 8 orders in 3 hours. All of them tipped! Incredible! Thank you!
How do I access my profile hack
Bro, I just started doing Uber eats 5 days ago. I just want to say thank you for all of your great advice with these vids. Very helpful 👍👍
I started last week..the tips help a ton
I found out recently that when it says you’re waiting on like an “8 dollar tip” it ends up getting upped, Uber isn’t showing the full tip when you accept the order for some reason, a lot of people have found out about it
@@cassierose8654 i had a $16 payout one dy. but after i delivered the order the payout went down to $3 & some change smh
Do you drive near the restaurants in your area?
I just hit platinum and I feel like I don’t make as much money as I did when I first started. Recently some 3-4 hour days only made me $60. When I first started there were some 4 hour days I made $140 or even more.
My profile says “side hustling to pay off those student loans 😅”
Holy crap same here! 😂
After moving to Nashville and driving for a few weeks I still have not seen any promotions, boosts, quest etc. on the app. Has this happen to anyone else or is it something specific to me?
Me too in S Florida
I did Uber Eats twice. I kind of gave up the second time after Customers were ordering from restaurants in Pittsburgh when they lived pass Cranberry without giving a tip. The first time I enjoyed it! I do more Uber/Lyft rides than Uber eats.
You don't have to accept it if you don't like it
I love Uber eats best! The others I use as a fill when Uber is running slow.
Why do I drive? Because I can make a difference one delivery at a time! Not only say it but believe it guys! Customers will appreciate that positive vibe and in return will show you the quan:)
Wish I could choose my Driver's on Ubereats
I have filled it out, and put my favorite foods. But I just changed why I am delivering to this: Saving towards moving out/getting married.=) Thx for the tips.
I also take the photo of food w/my hot/cold bag and have also added a delivery time.
I try to keep personal money motivations out of my profile and try and go for something emotional or funny. For example my profile says: "Delivering is a way I can help people feel safer" because a ton of people are ordering through UE for that reason, and it aligns with THEIR own motivations.
Me 2
You gotta work nights for these! The times less ideal for driving are usually the best for pay, ie night(poor visibility, storms, rain, and snow.
It was hailing, I KILLED that night 💯
Phoenix is the same
ikr it sucks.. here in ohio
Orlando the same…..
Unless we all get together at the same time and tell Uber we're not delivering s*** till we get more money, and stick together, it's not going to change
I added a caption to my profile today and got a $54 tip! Thanks
You are the value King thanks again Mike!
Yes I have and ever since 8 filled it out my orders and cash outs have went up I gotta do it in a bigger city keep ya updated I'm in Dothan AL salute
@GrungyDude thank you same to you
Definitely invested in good bags. When I used my cambro go bag I always got good tips when those food were fresh and warm.
Thank you for your tips. I'm new to the side hustle gig and appreciate the experience you share.
I like your bag idea and I've used it for a while.Thank you.
1.6 boost is the largest I've seen here in No. Los Angeles County, CA, but there was a good quest promo last week
@@RetireEatsDelivers amazing quests last week.
I appreciate you greatly for this video. I'm adjusting my profile as I watch. I did fill out my "why I'm driving" section a year ago, but I didn't think about using it to relate to customers. Brilliant. I just changed it and going to keep adjusting my profile according to these tips. Much appreciated 🙏🏿💯
My experience in California ( although I only did it a few days) it’s not worth it with gas being $5.19 a gallon. Uber should compensate for ridiculous gas prices.
Move then. But don't vote in dumbocrats where ever you move too.
My experience in Phoenix is similar to yours so far
@@Imasasquatch I did it to stay busy; we are moving out of state but after you factored in gas, wear and tear on your car (especially if you drive a nice car), it’s not worth it
Cali ?? 🤑🤑🤑💩💩💩
I live in Dallas Texas in between Fort Worth and Dallas. I’ve never seen a surge pay but that high of an amount. The highest I’ve seen is one dollar.
Hi Mike, definitely put info in profile. I actually put lost FT job due to COVID-19 last year & delivering to support family until find a new FT job. I believe this has definitely helped with tips. Thanks so much for ALL your tips. ALL of your tips have helped me as a newer person to the gig economy
Isn't that a little extreme..giving a sad story like that to the customer in hopes of getting more tips?
@@onsenguy It’s not a sad story it’s a fact.
@@Matt-vg9hn I'm just saying it's probably best to not let the customer know you're struggling financially. It's a little awkward and cringy.
@@onsenguy yeah you don’t want to come off cringy, I have “I drive to support my daughter, I appreciate you 🙏” , I’m not begging, I’m telling them the truth which they might relate to and letting them know I really do appreciate the ones that tip well (which would be any customer looking at my profile because I don’t take orders that pay under $10 on ubereats)
@@joemiller2205 it would be cringy if a waiter said that. Seems to be the same if a driver says it.
Im going to a month doing delivers. Im earning pretty good here in Houston. We usually have good promotions every weekend. As far as trips i have to basically accept all trips to complete quest for the weekend to get the bonus. Highest bonus last weekend was 305. I try and stay smart im low pays and mileage travel during the quest. I got promoted to gold 2 weeks ago but got bumped down days after for my declining record. 😒😂
I live at in Houston and I NEVER see quests anymore. When I first signed up like 4 months ago I did but not anymore and back then I didn’t have time to do them cause I had another job.
Just got a tip this past weekend because the customer liked my profile message!!!😀
My profile says “Your satisfaction is what I do it for”😭😂
Lmao 😂
I would really wish uber would be more transparent without expanding your screen whether a double pick up is in the same location I'd be hesitant in not picking up doubles if they are at different lications
They know we’re less likely to go to the second restaurant, I wish they’d show it too
Yeah also sometimes one of the pick ups out the two takes much longer than the other meaning one of the orders gets cold/ melts. Especially annoying when ice cream is involved.
@@MrMarko4 then jeopardizing your tip 👌
I live in Ontario. for the past 6 months an average of $4 a order.
i hope you start making more brother💕
Stop taking crap offers!
How much phone data do you go through working for a delivery service? Is one GB per month enough?
Not enough, you ideally need “unlimited” since your phone will constantly be connected to the app and maps.
@@richardrodriguez2197 Thank you!
@@richardrodriguez2197 Fr
@@minotaurseduction But if you specifically have to go with a limited monthly plan, choose no less than 10Gb, or 25, and use your phone on the 2G Network (or 3G) ... This will only work if all the data you will use on that phone is to use Uber... If you're gonna use it for everything else all the time as your primary phone, go with the unlimited plan
Thanx for the info, love your apartment by the way!!
If they think so little about people in the service industry for whatever reason they don’t deserve what we have to offer…Imagine looking down on people that YOU NEED due to YOUR laziness and entitlement… it’s insane….
same here
Same here. I stopped delivering to them
Yess!!
Agreed!!! Thought it was just me lol ..:maybe that’s why their rich 😅…:no but for real…stingy mofos…it takes everything in me not to key their bmw 😂😂or at least smash a McDonald’s bbq sauce on their windshield ….now that would be funny 😆
Thank you for confirming some of my suspicions
When a delivery request pops up and for example it says $7.45 how much of that will you earn after delivery. What is the percentage uber takes away from every trip?
WOW!!! Massive thanks to everyone who recommended me to ox_hack10 on IG he's 100% trust worthy & reliable...
I usually make more than the estimate
Thanks so much for that profile tip Bro!!!!
Yes! Im in the LR area as well and the surge areas always go away when I get to them. I dont understand.
Been doing UberEATS off and on since 2019. My area doesn't seem to have surge and quest promos. I have only seen the boosts and highest I have seen ever is 1.6x, I don't even know what that means... Is that .60 more? How do I know what is good or not? I just always assumed that wasn't much and didn't worry about boost areas
I like your doordash masks they are soft and don't smell when you put them on. :)
I just started a couple weeks ago and I’ve only gotten one order for Uber E bike can you give me any tips or can you do a video?
I had no clue there was a driver profile section. Thank you!
I started driving in November and I’ve worked up to a Diamond and I also live next to a mall and right in the middle of downtown I also get large tips on my orders , but my orders have slowed down significantly. I used to get Walmart order but no more since Christmas. I get one order per Every hour and a half equal in five dollars what do you suggest I do I have called corporate several times asking them if my app is messed up or just what is wrong I’ve downloaded the current app I’ve forced shut down and I still get one order every one and a half hours
try parking at different areas to see if you get more in certain spots
@@marshallmaia8130 yeah I did that once and got pinged right away but then I went back home and got barely anything, should have stayed put.. I was only 5 points from platinum rewards and got 0 pings all day, gonna have to start going to different areas and just wait it out

On the profile, I want to say I am saving so I can someday own a home, but I feel so many others wish they could own a home too that it isn't very compelling. The real story is that I'm trying to survive after an abusive relationship where I had to quit my career I worked so hard for due to the stress and pressure. At least you get tips w Uber eats. I drive for Uber x and hardly anyone tips. 17 trips today, literally one tip. And I am nice: people are just cheap. I literally took a lot of Ubers before I ever drove and I never didn’t tip, not once! I just don’t understand what world some people live in…
