I mix equal parts cornmeal and flour, seasoning and corn starch as part of my breading. Thank you for showing something I have never made before. I love learning new things.
I have never heard of a microwave pressure cooker. That's pretty cool! I love gizzards and livers. I remember when things like livers, gizzards and neck bones were dirt cheap. Now not so much.
I love chicken gizzards, I am going to try this, And my mom when I was growing up would cook the gizzards in water and the make a gravy with the broth and have gizzard gravy over homemade biscuits. Oh so good.
I bought some livers and gizzards last week at the grocery!! Now I know how to cook them!!! Thank you so much! I even have the Tupperware pressure cooker! ❤❤❤
My mother always added the gizzards to her stuffing and it really amped up the flavor. I am also one who can’t keep her fingers out of the mixture but it’s the only way to get great coverage.
This is so funny Linda I just got some from the freezer and pressured cooked for a little while then seasoned them and my husband ate them for lunch he loves them so much
Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. I have been staying away from fried foods😢; however, I still crave FRIED gizzards! Thank you for sharing a great alternative.
Oh I can’t wait to try this, haven’t had them since I was a kid, thanks so much for sharing! I would absolutely LOVE to see your fried chicken recipe, love love love fried chicken!
I'm originally from Maryland but currently live in western Montana. Back in the 69s, my dad's brother came from WV for a vusut. Dad sent hum home with a large can of Old Bay Bay seasoning. My uncle and a buddy cane up with an idea tri pressure cook some chicken guzzards with the Old Bay like you would cook shrimp. He called to tell my dad about his concoction. So MT dad had to go but some gizzards and proceeded to pressure Cook them with warer, vubegar, and Old Bay. I don't remember how long they cooked but were they delicious! I guess I need to try them in the Instant Pot.
Your microwave pressure cooker is interesting. Have you done a video showing the whole process of cooking with it? A demonstration? Thx. We loved gizzards!
Mmm Yum... I never cook them right.. I literally live for the scoured part.. I have watched my grandma Sautee these since I was a baby every Thanksgiving she did it. And I still need to watch this to get them right. Thanks.. Oh yeah I always preheat my air fryer.
Linda, this might be my very favorite of your videos! I have always loved gizzards, but only got them fried at truckstops when I drove many years ago. Pressure cooking first? BRILLIANT! Pre-freezing for another meal? Mindblown! Question about your fried chicken in the skillet: tell me you make a cream gravy with the bits for mashed potatoes and gravy…Great video. Love the family story. And the crunch killed me, lol. Thanks!
I was the gizzard eater in the family. My sister liked the livers and hearts. I havn't had any gizzards since KFC stopped serving them. Those look delicious!
Yep, I'm that girl too. Wash up my hands, get messy making the meal, and then clean everything up. Hands were made for cooking! LOL. This is shockingly easy and goodness girl, I'd never have thought of it. Ladies, if you use that Tupperware microwave pressure cooker, it's so much faster than the instant pot...but make sure to leave your microwave open for a while after you take it out to let the moisture out. I ruined a microwave before I realized I should do that. Linda, I want to see you do beef liver now! What wonderful tasty ideas do you have for that? We eat our own beef and I've only sliced, dredged then fried with butter and onions. What do you do?
I bought hearts from my butcher for $ .70 a pound bought 40 pounds heeeee love it...man you can use it for so many things and can ground for a lean ground chicken num, and taste better than gizzards, I like gizzards too...
Hummm.... I'll try and step outside the box. This is not something that we see on our menus or in our traditions here. (here is French Quebec). I have tried them before but... my guess is the recipe and the cooking instructions were way off 'cause they did not look at all llike this. Thanks for the inspiration. ;-)
Can you not just assume that’s what happened? How much more confirmation do you need? Do you not imagine she would have spoken about it, if she wanted to? 🙄
You know she is so open with other things so why not Shotzy? She always talked about him, showed him and obviously wanted us to love him. So come off your high horse and put a comment I would like to hear. Thank you Bev from Oklahom
@@Bev-jt6by I’m not trying to argue with you. Sorry for the eyeroll emoji. Just maybe it’s a painful topic and she doesn’t want to address it - i know I wouldn’t/couldn’t. She shows us her kitchen and her canning, but she’s not obligated to share anything. She obviously reads the comments and has chosen not to answer.

My Dad and I used to love having chicken gizzards together. He would have loved this recipe!
Love chicken gizzard as a kid. Thanks for refreshing the memories. Looks and sounds good.

One of the very few of your recipes that I don't think my family would eat. I'm sure a lot of people will love this though!

I may have to try this if I see gizzards at the store. Looks intriguing.
Never had gizzard, but my elders used to fight for them at Thanksgiving dinner.
Thank you! They look amazing!
Yes indeed, I can hear them crunch! I love chicken livers too. I bet I could do them the same way😊
I never knew how to prepare gizzard. This is good to know
I have never eaten chicken gizzards but your video makes me want to try them.
Love chicken livers and now i know how to do them in the pressure cooker. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I haven't had these in a long time. Looks like I might need to try them in the air fryer!😊

OMG this is one of my HUbby's favorite meals. Never tried them in the air fryer.
thank you for the information and tutorial, it's nice to watch your video. good luck
As kids we used to fight over the one lonely gizzard in a chicken curry dish …😊
Looks really good! I can taste them now
I've never had chicken gizzards. I may need to try your method. Thank you for sharing
I’ll be trying this one out soon.
Thanks for the corn starch tip.
That is a great idea.
I love Chicken Gizzards, never thought to Air Fry them though Defiantly going to try this one 🙂
Not anything I ever wanted to eat but you make me want to try them.
Looks great!

Sounds great and crunchy 😊
YUM!!!
I used to love chicken livers. I might try these!
I love your channel but I can't do gizzards. It's a texture and mind thing for me.But i love that you love them.
We always ate the chx gizzards growing up!
Do like chicken gizzards never had them this way look yummy.
I love them so does my husband.
I guess I’m going to need to get an air fryer!
Getting gizzards tender takes a long cooking 🍳..... My grandmother would slow boil them for an afternoon........
I new adventure awaits me. I love gizzards and I would eat them right down to the gristle. Thank you
I'm not that girl either. Looks so yummy!
looks good
I was just thinking about taking two packs of gizzards out to fix this weekend . . . .
Yum
Grew up eating gizzards and hearts but can’t find very many recipes for those
Well hello Linda
Yummy
Can you make more videos using your Tupperware microwave pressure cooker?? I have one, but no inspiration to use it
Alright I have to get an airfryer now.
I haven't tried chicken gizzard since I was a kid and didn't like them. Maybe I need to give them another try.
I love them I hope your trial and if you don’t like them that just means there’s more for me and those of us that love them so it’s OK

Can you make hearts next? Just bought a pack and i have no idea how to prepare them! 🥺
I love gizzards. The turkey one is mine - chef's treat 😁 What happened to your dog(s)?
What does the corn starch do for the flour mixture? I have never done that. Hugs Linda❤
It makes it crispier
We call them meat bubblegum lol. Love me some gizzards
Wear a plastic food grade glove. Change, or rinse off in between batches!
My parents loved chicken gizzards, but I could never acquire a taste for them.
My mom liked gizzard.
Ugh!!! Spare parts! I hate Gerble gravy too,! What happened to the dog? She was so pretty.
I wondered why I hadnt seen your dog in any of your videos for quite awhile. What happened to Shotzie?
My fingers ger so messy 😂😂
I like gizzards
Uh, I can’t do gizzards. 😬 🙂
I have asked you several times. Did Shotzy die?
Can you not just assume that’s what happened? How much more confirmation do you need? Do you not imagine she would have spoken about it, if she wanted to? 🙄

I would love to see your fried chicken ❤. I love gizzards
I may have said I don’t care for gizzards, but these don’t look too bad. I thought you were going to fry them like liver.
I would love to see your fried chicken
They look good. But I just can’t bring myself to eat gizzards.
And that’s quite all right I totally understand
@@LindasPantry I am going to cook some chicken like that and use the same breading mix. That crunch sounded delicious!
As a child my grandpa cooked gizzards…RUBBER🤢
Nope. Not doing this one 😉
They were bland, and the coating was hard as a rock. Followed the directions but they just didn't taste very good. Oh well.
