MC Command Center is a MUST HAVE for ts4
I think its too complex to be honest. It feels like there are 1000 options and different tabs Which force you to spend quite some time on reading them all until you get to the setting you where looking for....
The Pancake 1 has a more traits in cas mod which I find very helpful

Ive used this mod and never had problems and they update quickly ❤
My story with Sims 4 summarized:
-Spend a week getting mods and CC
-Optimize it to work without setting my PC on fire
-Play for a couple of days
-EA releases a new update, breaking half of the mods
-Rinse and repeat 🥹
That's what got me annoyed and I completely stopped playing it

Hah yes! This is why I now pick two or three most usable mods to me and use very little cc, or I won’t be able to figure out what’s broken and stop playing lol.
mine is getting mods and cc, play the game for a day, game starts to lag like crazy after a few hours of playing, exit the game, not touch it for a few weeks, ea releases an update, i can't be bothered to update the game and mods, so i go months without playing the game, until i feel like playing it again, so i go an update the game and mods, and then rinse and repeat

I’m trying to optimise this whole process for myself cause it’s getting ridiculous, especially since every new pack breaks the game now 🙄
I’m recently working on a ‘update safe’ mods folder, so all my mods that wouldn’t normally be affected by ea edits aka non scripted or functional cc usually 🤔 then trying to create a save file for it that I can play with without too much disruption to my gameplay.
And considering most of my must need mods update pretty quickly, I don’t have to lose too much, so ui cheats, the extra columns cheat, mccc, and of course tmex. So if those 4 break, I don’t bother playing until they’re fixed, I can’t stand my game without them 😂😂
I can play without any other cc but I still need those 4 😂, I was testing some new cc that’s mostly for storytelling so it wouldn’t be necessary in every gameplay, it’s basic cc testing and I was pulling my hair out without those 4😩
But yh same dude, rinse repeat! 😫
tbh i prefer when youtubers use cc and mods over packs 👍 mods r free so more accessible and its good to support mod creators. also unlike packs, mods arent broken and overpriced 💀💀

Satch, i think i speak for all of us when i say that we would love to see a playthru of the sims with all ur mods installed, doing all the crazy and fun things the mods have to offer. not necessarily a showcase of the mods, but just a normal let's play experience with mods installed. we all watch for your personality and sense of humour!
Better Build Buy, UI Cheats, and remove sims from conversations are also must haves for me, along with another 50 that fixes annoyances and speeds up the time it takes to do something

I've used to have over 36GB of Sims 4 mods. (Ive uninstalled Sims 4 once an update broke my game and lost a family I've played for years.) Interestingly enough- roughly 25% of my mods were bug fixes, 5% overrides, 20% cas, 10% add ins, and 40% bb items. Now I'm just a Sims 3 player with hardly any cc. (Only 5 and honestly because my old Sims family in Sims 4 had a transmale and I missed him. Also they had three kids who were absolutely adorable and cuddly so I had to add more interaction mods with that)
Honestly thought about making a doc file full of links to cc creators who deserve attention.
Wait there was no way to get your old family back? That’s so scary. I’m literally terrified of losing all my progress. 😭
I found a very useful way to use MCCC, I tend to play with aging off cause Sims lifetimes are so short, it's just easier than trying to edit the lifestages to realistic settings, but I did use MCCC to set the pregnancy duration to match 3 seasons on the long season setting, which makes the pregnancy last a more realistic length of time, one reason I did this was cause I have a childbirth and realistic pregnancy mod that lets your pregnant sim go for an ultrasound to find out if the baby is a boy or girl and how many babies your pregnant sim is carrying, and with only 3 days of pregnancy there isn't enough time to do all the things to prepare for the baby or babies, so it helps to use MCCC to make it longer, also it lets you play some other households while your sim is pregnant.
I do a similar thing but I do go the extra mile and change the age ranges with aging on. Ended up making a spreadsheet for it that if I change the season length it will work out all the age lengths and pregnancy lengths I need to change to according to my predefined age definitions. I still need to expand this out for cats and dogs (screw horses. I'm not paying separately for those!) It definitely makes a good difference if you want to expand on the playtime of those particular life events.
Saying the internet didn't exist in Sims 2 era makes me feel very old... :P It totally did, there were even crappy dating sites back then! Thank you so much for your mod videos. I've played forever but never really bothered with Sims 4 mods til I saw some of your past videos and I'm having a blast exploring them. I am going to go get the Smarter Pie Menu for sure, it's so impossible to find interactions in EA's menus!
The internet existed before The Sims 1 came out. My high school had internet connected computers back in 1993 even! (which was considered a "big thing" back then)

I literally cannot play without chingyu's trait mod anymore. Those are genuinely good, they actually affect the sims quite a bit!
@@rosvokisu I used to love Chingyu's trait mod! But I had to stop using it because it kept me from sharing my Sims to the gallery. :(
I'm highly surprised that you didn't used or mentioned Ravasheen. They're a really talented CC creators with new object that have good animations, also they upgraded items that are already in game packs such like in-counter washing and dryer machine

I hope you DO have the more trait slots mod… 🤭 It allows you to pick whatever version you want and lets you give sims those traits. I usually go for the biggest which is like 24 I think? Just to not limit but I don’t find myself adding more than 8 usually. Since moodlets go crazy
i only ever have at most 5 traits on adult sims 😭. like you set moodelts go crazy + the with get together u can get 3 extra traits

sometimes I wish people would share their mod folder somewhere online to download. This is one of those moments. lol
There are plenty of those, just search in UA-cam my whole mods folder. But I would never recommend doing that.
There are a lot of Cc creators don’t allow that, and would prefer their cc being used to be link to their website/download. I guess it would be super tedious doing that for each and every CC link so it’s easier (for the yojtuber) to just credit them and have people search them up on their own
There is not one thing worst than merged ccs and those folders with all of mods /cc. I used to look for them too on yt etc, half of the items were later broken, not in my style etc.
The best thing you can do is to support creator by going to their page.
Whenever I am on creator's patreon instead of one thing /mod cc etc I usually download 5 or more new interesting mods/cc. This is also a chance for mod creator to have some support from people, I have no money, but some people may support some creators, and how we can discover new creators without going for their sites.
I love the comments my personal mod and cc folder is almost 20 gb. My actual issue is that I don't have time to organize it, so I want someone else's folder LOL

I've had the same CAS screen for ages and I just cannot play without it anymore!
I like the CAS screens with the mirror, cause I have height slider mods for adjusting the height of sims or to make teens shorter than adults, and to make the children appear to be different ages, and the mirror really helps adjust the height correctly, without something to compare their height to, you just can't tell what the difference in height is.
I have some cas screen in basic colour I think I have them now in some beige, from time to time I use another. Got them from creator named shasims.

With MCCC, I actually edit how hard it is to raise relationships as well as how fast it decays for a nice challenge. I can't remember but I know there's also a mod that I had that makes sims bored if they do the same thing again and again unless they really love that as a hobby (That way you can't spam things from interactions as well as basically anything lol). Which, combined with the edited decay and leveling percentage for relationships makes for a really realistic gameplay honestly. I get to have incentive to try different things with who my SIm is interested in whether as friends or lovers.

Your mods folder was stressing me out lol. I put all my mods and CC by creator unless I only have less than 10 files from a creator then I put them in a general mods folder. So much neater and easier so update by creator.

I installed KiaraSims4Mods's every mod due to her career mods. It would have been easier if I had been a Patreon and thus gotten them as a bundle, and not separately like I did. Mainly because of her and LittleMsSam's mods, my Mods folder is filled with over 1000 gameplay mods and with all the CAS (I prefer Alpha hairs) and Build mode stuff included it takes 120 Gb, and counting. Flight Simulator mods have usually taken over 1 Tb 😝. MCCC, NPCC, Wicked Whims, Control Any Sim and TwistedMexi's occult toggles are probably my favourites. 🤓
i tried that real estate mod and didn't care for it.
it took forever just to get one family to look into the house i was renting. and then when rent was due, they didn't pay, and i had to evict them. and i had a few places set for rent, and out of all of them only that one got rented, the others never had any tenants. and after those tenants got evicted, it was gonna take so long until the next cycle of possible renters that i got fed up and uninstalled the mod
This is how you see that EA doesn't care at all about the Sims! Why could they not think as far as these talented modders to add to the gameplay 😢😢

Urgh I miss the sims 3 high school/teen experience, aka the sims 3 calendar! It was simple but so elite now that I’ve dealt with sims 4s nonsense, having 1 prom usually after 4week semester or usually the base game teen age, so just before, like the week before, your teen ages up, the final exams happen, they get to pick their prom dates and outfits, they get their finals results, then go to prom 😭 usually in a limo cause my sims were that extra, that would always happen on a Friday, so on the Saturday your sims can have their birthday party and age up with their friends 😢
It’s similar with the child sims but without prom, and urgh I loved deciding what teenage love drama was gonna happen by who aged up looking normal without my editing 😂😂 sigh I miss that, miss the scouts, miss teaching the teens to drive…

Does the traits mod work with switching traits/personal development? Or still just the ones from the game?
It does not, but u can change manially every trail directly from the interactions wheel. There's an option (i think its in the 'actions' section) that open a menu where u can select the traits
The Boring trait can be interesting, but is positively atrocious when a kid who ave it tries to complete the Social Butterfly aspiration.

There is a mod called «Lot traits as challenge» that transform almost all lot traits into challenges.
If you have Realms of Magic, the Spell Injector mod allows you to add some interesting new spells to your game.

Babe, bro, gorge, we use the same mods and we play the game in the same way, and because of you, I get people who would fight wars for littlebluesuburban, I'd do the same for you. Plus, as people, we have really really similar personalities and I just appreciate you so much.
This is why The Sims well never be all that it should be because we have amazing talented people creating mods that fix bugs and add life into the game for free (why would maxus add proper game play when other people are doing it for free).

Ccs too. It basically scan ur whole game and then open a pdf outside the game with all your problems, how to solve them, and the path of the files causing said problems
@@mikrokosmochi does it give u a notifaction of what is broken in your game in the notification wall like the other Sims things?
@Meowish101 only if there's an error happening in that exact moment. In that case it start to scan, but all the results are always in a page outside the game. The only other notification it gives u it's at the start of the game, suggesting u to either start a scan for "patch day" (to see if ur mods have become obsoleted after a game update) or a general information about what u can do. No other notification that can clog the bar
The best thing with that mod is you can scan your sims outfit and appearance and tell you all the cc that sims is wearing with exact names after you shift click on the sim and choose this option.
It is especially helpful when your sims have broken gloves/socks /t-shirt etc you forgot the name and you have like 3k cc, it tell you exact name so you can easily delete it after the game.
I have like 14gb of mods lol my laptop runs fine. I just have stuff like adult careers for teens etc. I love my script mods, I have less on my other laptop. BUT I cannot play without mods 🙃😫🤷🏽♀️

How do you manage and keep track of all of your mods? Do you use cursed forge?
I can tell you by my experience, curse forge is the worst tool to manage mods lol.
I am lazy so I am still using it cause I got so many mods from it that it will take at least a day to take them from mods folder and reorganize but yeah...
I can also tell you why I think it's the worst, it's because you cannot keep your mods organized at all. I used to have perfect order in my mods folder, they were sort by creator's name or by name.
And then curse forge came, where after downloading you cannot take your mod to for example those creator's folders made my me cause cf doesn't recognize subfolders. If you take it and paste in new folder you won't be able to update it by app /delete by app or manage it by app at all.
So now I have like 150cc and 30 mods all scattered without any folders and it makes even finding some cc so difficult in that folder.
Another thing I don't like about cf is this app's managing of downloading some addons that creator added to the mods. For example simda app mod, curse forge is downloading all addons that creator's had in mod's files, you have to choose manually in your mods folder which of them you want to leave or delete (cause simdada have like 5 addons only with chances of getting pregnant I think? but it's for example 0,15,25,50,75, 100 chance and you need only one for it to work, yet cf just download it all) and after every update it installs all of addons again, you had to again delete some of them etc. It makes the process tiring, cf should ask you which files(eg addons) you want to install and which not. And it's not only simdada mod, there are more of them,without installing it by cf you can just choose one addon done, it 's easier.
Also curse forge still have some broken cc, I saw at least 15 in my game from this app which in theory should help with having updated and working mods, not mods from year ago, broken since 3 updates and yet they are still there.
I have probably even more problems with cf but that's it at the moment, I don't recommend this app at all lol
Hope that I will be having a lot of time one day to take all my mods from there, unistall the app and organize my mod folder in proper way.

How do you have so much mods without having your sims crashing. I only have extreme violence and spinning plumbobs occult mod and its already having a hard tine loading. 😭
What's that Mode about? Can you tell?
One important thing is to make sure your game version doesn't require a new update of the mod, or that the mod isn't for an update of your game that you haven't updated yet, it's easy to fall behind if a patch or update to the game requires a newer mod version, and if you still have the older mod it can negatively affect game performance, even if the mod is still working normally. Every game update requires checking your mods to see if they have an updated version.
@@sieschonwiederj.5794 Spinning Plumbob has many occult mods, there is Witches vs Fairies which brings witches that have a different way of getting magic and fairies, both of which have their own magic books, there is also a better mermaids mod which adds different types of mermaids and some new abilities, their is also a Unicorn mod for the horses which lets unicorns be able to have certain abilities, and you have good unicorns and bad unicorns, and a trait that lets a random unicorn show up on your lot. The Extreme violence mod adds different types of violent responses and use of weapons, it also adds the ability to have your sim be a serial killer, or to have a serial killer show up on a lot, adds a bit of danger to the gameplay, the same modder that makes Extreme Violence also made the Zombie invasion mod, which is basically if Resident Evil was a sims game, will your sim or their family survive the zombie apocalypse, try the mod and find out.
Got rid of simda a while ago. After an update to the game it wouldn't even show up on the phone and if I got a call for a date it broke my regular dates would leave right after arrival. 😅
Are you sure the regular EA dates leaving right after arriving is because of this mod? Cause I and many others who play vanilla or without that mod had the same issue. It's an EA bug unfortunately...

hmm... I was just being salty cos i just bought a pc and all the packs i bought on console doesnt translate to the pc version of the game. Watching this seems like maybe theres mods i could use to spruce up game play cos i refuse to buy the packs again

Since the virus incident of february on various mods I am kind of afraid to download any cc content for now. Does anyone know if the problem is already solved like is it safe again to download cc from known creators like e.g. featured creations on sims resource ??
i can't launch my game comepletly:( previously clearing catche worked but now it won't. When i click "play" button there is pop up saying game is launching with this loading bar moving but i can leave computer for hour and it still "game is launching" popup:( I tried adding to Microsoft Defenfder exlusions, restarting PC, repairing my game. It just won't start. I fucking HATE EA App:(
I had this happen for 50mins, Here was my solution not sure if it will work for you but worth a try.
Open Ea, Click you profile, Settings, Download, Updates - Update game automatically (somehow it was turned on, i turned it off) And the game worked fine from then.
🤷🏽♀️ It sounds simple but i felt a sigh of relief when it worked.

@@Cumulusly the problem started when i join epic launcher with ea app, from this time i started having problems but some times ago clearing catche few times in a row helped but now it won't work. And few minutes ago i tried launch my game from epic launcher for the first time (i have there only luxury party stuff because it was free there) AND IT FREAKING WORKS. I have no idea how long it will work but hundreds of dollars I spend on this freaking game is save for now🙄
When you have epic and ea you should always open ea and epic at the same time, then use epic to start the game. It just wouldn't work in any other way, I checked since unfortunately I have connected accounts too.
This is not a life hack or anything it wouldn't stop working,it is because of the fact you had to probably "bought" base game in epic as I did so from on you won't ever be able to run this game in normal way.Or just because you have this other addon on epic but I would go with option number 1.
And *drums* if you will ever want to unconnect epic and ea you will lose all the progress you made, all saves etc.

The first time i played The Sims 4 i wasn't that interested about the game and how it felt really.
