There is also CC that lets you turn your horses into hippogriffs, camels, or Pegasus, there is also a Ghostly Gate trait that lets your horses or winged horses float when they are galloping, the hippogriffs are great for spellcasters to ride.
There is unicorn option in the game. Mine has been unicorns ever since I found it. You can get the horn by clicking the horses head and the options pops up and there you'll find it just above the colouring/painting option. By applying the horn it also changes how the horse sounds (it sounds more ethereal) and makes it glittery 🤩you can even customize the color of the horn and how deep those swirls are on it. So this time EA was one step ahead.
"My little neighborhood" allows "park/café nextdoors", so that you can build residentials and parks/cafés on the same lot. With auto employees you can have vendors and baristas for free on all kind av lots. These mods are a must for me!
I like the home business mod, My Amish family has a furniture business cause the father crafts wooden furniture and sells them at a shop next to their house. It also lets you have apartments with a bar or cafe downstairs as the trait can be put on one apartment, haven't fully tested it, but it should work.
@@onidaaitsubasa4177 Is it the live in business mod? That's a great mod too. You can have a shop, kindergarden, gym, veterinary clinic etc on your residential lot!

With "my little neighborhood" say you have a 64x64 lot, well your house would be your house and maybe only takes up a quarter of the lot, but there would also be a park nearby and a cafe sharing the lot, operating as a sim attracting park and cafe as if they were separate lots. But you don't have to go through a loading screen, cause they are not "off lot". They are not bussiness you own, they are independent operators. Where as live-in-business is more for like the ground floor of your actual house is a bakery or diner and you live upstairs above it and run the bakery. Both are by littlemssam.
2:17 there's a Flower and Music Festival in Island Living? I own the pack and had different families live in sulani, I never got notified for it, never saw it happen :o

Ohh, also don't forget the mods that let children do a variety of things like play guitar, paint on the easel, cook, repair things, and do fitness stuff, also helpful hint, if you make a treadmill smaller by one it's just the right size for the children to use.
What I like about the wonderful whims attraction system is that you can set how strong the attraction works, like just because sims have attractions to physical festers doesn’t mean they can’t also build romantic relationships with sims that don’t fit those turn ons Like people have types but that obviously doesn’t dictate every partner you ever have (hopefully…)
I never noticed the Wonderful Whims attraction impacting my game very much, and managing my Sims cycles was too much. I had Sims that wouldn't get pregnant because it wasn't the right time and it drove me crazy constantly checking fertility and making sure they were stocked up on pads. I took it out for a game update and did not miss it.
Intresting, Didn't know that. I've stuck with Lumpino's RPO as my dedicated relationship "tool" because honestly WW (Wicked and Wonderful Whims) both seem more than I needed and I'm reluctant to mix the two. I know they can mix (by that I mean RPO and WW), but if you get too restrictive about what sims like/don't like it CAN sometimes be a nightmare to play. Like I hate sims having decor taste and so I almost always end up deleting that preference in CAS because Sims can act like they are being tortured if they are a room with the wrong decor and it just gets annoying. Which has always been my fear with Sims turn ons and offs. That they would be overtuned (especially in EA's hands). I just don't know that I want to mix WW and RPO. Also because I play rotationally, I have just under 30 families I currently play through in the same save. I'd want to go through all my 100s of sims in these various families for the new personality mixer and I already have so much going on between Lumpino's RPO Modules and Chingyu's Trait mods. :/
@@kathyazzari839 In wicked whims you can disable the mentruation cycles. I also do not enjoy that part of the mod for the same reason but i like everything else. I'm sure you can also disable that part of the mod in wonderful whims if you'd like to get back into it.
@@skedaddle123 Yes, you can disable the menstruation in Wonderful Whims as well, but then what is left? I didn't notice any impact from the attraction side. Wicked Whims would at least still have the graphics.

With this mod, If your sim sees someone who they find majorly attractive a notification will pop up, that sim will daydream about said person and receive a few moodlets. Makes relationships easier aswell and on the other hand, if they find someone who they find utterly unnactractive they will receive an uncomfortable moodlet i believe. I recommend reading more into it in the mod's page to see how it impacts your game. They are based purely on physical attributes and not mental, so it doesn't have a great impact overall (as it should, but that's my opinion, because i rather mental/personality attributes to matter way more).
One essential mod that I highly recommend and no one really seems to know about is called “conversation tweaks” by bienchen. There’s different modules, but one that I honestly can’t live without disables the idle chat feature, which is when sims “chat” but it contributes nothing to relationship and they aren’t using any social interactions. It makes it so they only use social interactions and it also helps ALOT with sims intruding in conversations! I switched to TS3 but this was honestly so good
For the XML injector, make sure you have gotten the new version as it was updated to be compatible with one of the recent patches, it could be a reason why some of your new updated mods aren't working if they use the XML injector and you didn't get the new version.
Occult Hybrid Stabilizer is a must. Like, a single mod is fixing what maxis team just sees as unworthy fixing, and actively trying to ruin even the possibility of getting a hybrid. Not even saying about being stuck in mermaid form on land, or werewolf transforming into abominable blobs.
@@Raphaeltheslayer That's my main lineup right there. I just don't see how EA can do better than Golden Years for elders. It's such a great mod. I actually get excited when my sims turn into elders and I get the notification from the mod about all the things available to them. Makes that age up seem way more significant and special.
I personally love a small mod from bienchen called lessfacialoveraction which scales down the constant smiles in the game. I have always thought it weird that sims default expression in the sims4 is a big smile.
I literally just started playing the sims again yesterday after 7 months, so I spent a lot of time yesterday updating my mods folder haha. Perfect timing as always satch!
i think one thing i wish the sims 4 had was like mood specific conversations. like if a sim is upset about getting fired a conversation option can appear like “Talk about being being fired”. and like depending how the conversation goes they could feel better or worse from it. i just feel like stuff like that would make the emotion system less pointless
It would also unclutter the social menu. Sometimes I just met a sim and I don't want to go from "freindly introduction" to "Deep Thoughts" or from first "flirt" to "declare love publicly".
A LOT of mods require XML Injector. Witch ones ? Most of the script based mods and several others. More Columns in CaS now come with a 6 columns version. You now have the options of 3, 4, 5 or 6 columns. With both WW, the archetypes CAN change over time through game play. Also, all Sims can have two. Fairies VS. Witches would have been a full expansion pack if EA came up with it. Just because that mod EXIST, we'll probably never get a Fairy DLC. Flow Fit is Great ! Simply Great ! Rowing machine, Climber and Elliptical. One that have been missed : Functional clutter. For example : Placed a perfume bottle clutter item ? Your Sims can now use it and get a moodlet associated with it. Placed a soap holder next to a sink ? Your Sims will use that soap when washing their hands.
Another mod that was missed was the All Worlds are Residential mod, it lets you put houses in the vacation worlds and live in them, except for the Star wars one of course cause it has no regular lots, but you can visit the world whenever you want, good for those sims with spaceships.
@@onidaaitsubasa4177 Easy to verify : Find any perfume bottle or deodorant and place it somewhere in the house. If your Sim do use it, you have the mod. If you don't have that mod, then, no Sim will ever use them.
@@onidaaitsubasa4177 Have it. And, don't forget the Lot Traits Turned Challenge. Cause all the traits to show as challenges, allowing you to have more than a mere three lot traits. Some traits from mods will still only appear as traits, not challenges.
Another mod which is super great for if you want to run a retail (with Get to work) is the Retail Reloaded mod. It makes such a huge difference and actually make it more fun to play with retails hops.

Another Mod that I would add to that list is the Control Any Sim mod by: TitanNano. This mod is so good for storytelling and other stuff! (ex: controlling an npc babysitter that isn't doing their job). It literally make you control any npc sims you want and add them to your household temporarily, in one click of a button, until you're done controlling them.
I think another important mod to use is the balanced death moodlet (forgot who made it). It makes it so that your sims don't become "Very Sad" upon another sims death who wasn't that close, cause it gets rather annoying having them become very sad when they didn't even know them 😂 I don't know if it still works though, or if it's been updated because it's been a while since I played.
So Okay. I have been using Better Build Buy Mod for a few years and had NO idea the rows expanded. MIND. BLOWN. 🤯 forever changed...keep providing essential knowledge my friend. Next time mention you just have hit 1 for it to work...save us some google time. Best day EVER.
For any game, modders that take the time to go in and make constant fixes to bugs and glitches are the best! They’re the cornerstone of having a proper working game, heavily modded or not

I love sixamcc’s stuff. I actually downloaded the pack with the heart shape bed and heart hot tub before love struck came out and they look amazingly made.

That lawnmower mod would be great if sims could get paid to do it. Like how teens mow lawns for quick cash in real life. That would be cool. Definitely downloading a few of these
Wicked Whims is my favorite mod. I understand it's a bit much for some, but I adore having a raunchy Sim drama to actually play. It's incredibly hard to find maxis matches with horny goths.
Thanks for the post. It's funny, I have several mods, but the one that first hit me after the update was the 4 column in CAS. It wouldn't open CAS, and I had to search online as to the reason (I had removed most of my other mods). When I found the answer, I saw that the modder had an update.
I'd love to have a live business career. Like you have to pitch for new accounts, schmooze clients (at home and at work), chat and trash rivals at the watercooler
For anyone that doesn't want Wonderful Whims and just wants better compatibility I HIGHLY recommend Down in Simsland - they have an improved social compatibility mod (Growing Together) with an optional add on to replace outfit color with physical features (Lovestruck), an improved turn ons/turn offs mod (Lovestruck) and a residential rentals community mod (For Rent). All essential for those packs imo.

I'm new to the game and I've been researching what mods to get before I even launch the game, thanks for the tips!. However I'm puzzled as to why would anyone want to get the Lifetime Aspirations Reworked mod, your description of it made it sound like you're cutting out content for yourself out of the game? why change it to just 1 goal instead of having multiple-tiered goals that you slowly work and progress through over time.
I'd love to try some of the mods on this lost that I didn't already have. But with the recent lovestruck update, most of those mods won't work in my game.... I'm waiting for all the glitches to be resolved b4 I update, that way I can download the updated versions of these awesome mods.
Lifetime Aspirations mod would have been good if it did not remove some of the unique rewards given by aspirations. I went back to vanilla just to be able to write a book of life again.
Good video, but u made timestamps but didnt include the links for the mods, also the timestamps are unnamed so finding that one mod u talked about is tedious.
There are no mods that are "bought" and if so they violate the terms of service. What can happen is for a short period these mods are behind an early access paywall, but eventually put into public access. I am pretty sure every mod Satch mentioned in the video is free as I either use or am aware of/have considered using 90% of them.

Me neither
That one never get a notification. If you live close to it's location, you can see it happening, but won't get any notification.
If you play on PC, you can find a mod that shows you the Sulani festivals.
The game does not give notifications for Sulani events. You need a mod for that.
I wish I knew when that was cause I've never seen it either.
I love the Language Barriers mod by Frankk. It’s so funny when sims from different regions try to speak each others language and fail miserably 😂

Mods are what got me playing the Sim 4 about 5 years now (on/off). There are some awesome ones available.

adeepindigo also has a bunch of in-depth mods for holistic game play, like preteen, private school, elderly career, and neurodivergent sims.

T.O.O.L. is so awesome. I also consider it a dependency as some of my cool modded objects I really like putting off-lot. And couldn’t without T.O.O.L.

I love sixamcc’s stuff. I actually downloaded the pack with the heart shape bed and heart hot tub before love struck came out and they look amazingly made.

Wicked Whims is my favorite mod. I understand it's a bit much for some, but I adore having a raunchy Sim drama to actually play. It's incredibly hard to find maxis matches with horny goths.

Thanks for the post. It's funny, I have several mods, but the one that first hit me after the update was the 4 column in CAS. It wouldn't open CAS, and I had to search online as to the reason (I had removed most of my other mods). When I found the answer, I saw that the modder had an update.
I'd love to have a live business career. Like you have to pitch for new accounts, schmooze clients (at home and at work), chat and trash rivals at the watercooler
I can't even use mods as I'm on ps. But I'm just watching for Satch 🤣
Mods are the backbone of The Sims 4.
For anyone that doesn't want Wonderful Whims and just wants better compatibility I HIGHLY recommend Down in Simsland - they have an improved social compatibility mod (Growing Together) with an optional add on to replace outfit color with physical features (Lovestruck), an improved turn ons/turn offs mod (Lovestruck) and a residential rentals community mod (For Rent). All essential for those packs imo.

However I'm puzzled as to why would anyone want to get the Lifetime Aspirations Reworked mod, your description of it made it sound like you're cutting out content for yourself out of the game? why change it to just 1 goal instead of having multiple-tiered goals that you slowly work and progress through over time.

I'd love to try some of the mods on this lost that I didn't already have. But with the recent lovestruck update, most of those mods won't work in my game.... I'm waiting for all the glitches to be resolved b4 I update, that way I can download the updated versions of these awesome mods.

Lifetime Aspirations mod would have been good if it did not remove some of the unique rewards given by aspirations. I went back to vanilla just to be able to write a book of life again.

Whenever I play I always forget to add those fitness equipment to the gyms in the game, I got them, I just forget to put them in the gyms.

I'm new to mods. Are these are on mod website or individual creators' websites? Which ones are free and which ones do I need to buy?
There are no mods that are "bought" and if so they violate the terms of service. What can happen is for a short period these mods are behind an early access paywall, but eventually put into public access. I am pretty sure every mod Satch mentioned in the video is free as I either use or am aware of/have considered using 90% of them.
