PSA: Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon needs you to have a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in the GY or Field to resolve its searching effect. So you should always send either BEWD or Alternative, otherwise you won't be able to search... (It happened to me for not fully reading the card... why the fuck did konami put the condition for the effect at the end of the text is beyond me, that should be like the first line of text imo)
They did they same for Blue eyes jet dragon.
The reason is because they wanted it played in BE and not just splashed in every ritual/fusion/dragon deck.

@@arifsalahudin6673 1 is plenty, use the skill to toss either BEWD in the gy and the abyss, use the monster reborn on abyss and there you go. Either you have enough to make Maxx that turn or you will have it next turn.

@@arifsalahudin6673 Yeah lol, it’s required to run the deck properly. Also good to toss DSoW to the gy and reborn it to remove backrow. Pretty much a Cosmic on legs that doesn’t cost you a stack.

That's a bug then and will need a little update fix because Abyss Dragon is a Blue-Eyes monster.

Lol no. 3 Blue-Eyes Abyss is a brick to the limit😂 Always have been. Blue-Eyes Jet though when added to Duel Links 3 is good. As for Alt Blue-Eyes its up to you, 1, 2, and 3 works well. Depends on your play style if looking into adding Dragon Spirit of White and Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon :) Heck maybe even if looking into Shining Dragon even which is great against target cards.

Or my personal favorite, prediction princess+ subterror behemoth. Ritual princess and ss behemoth. It work well together, behemoth have non target flip.

Is 1 abyss optimal enough for competitive?
You won't ever need more than 1 Abyss.
On turn 2 place Abyss in the graveyard with a BEWD or Alternate using the skill. Abyss needs either BEWD in the gy to use it’s effects.
Add monster reborn, summon abyss with it, add Choas Form.
Now use a saved Melody to add a Maxx and another dragon to hand and summon it for game.
If they happen to live, and Abyss wasn’t synchro’d away, use Abyss’s end of turn effect to add Deep Eyes to your hand.
Now if they happen to kill Maxx they have to get through another 4 beater that’s probably 5k using Abyss’s gy effect.
Yes, you only need 1 Abyss Dragon

@@delevingne8691 Is very important to know exactly what your opponent's deck can do so you can play and use your cards effects effectively. Wrong plays are not forgiven here 😀.You can definitely go a little higher. Bringing chaos max is not a number one priority.

well I guess I know why Black Luster got nuked. 13 and 2 against this deck with BL. The 2 were because the guy managed to get the ritual card out. Oh, and I don't count "connection failed". So those were 13 "actual" wins and not a rage quit that possibly could of been a DC and so to me it would NOT be fair to count. If you want me to be a dick then 40 and 2 is the case.

They should remove the part of the skill where one can normal summon a level 8 blue-eyes dragon...the skill would still be op.

You can only summon the original *Blue Eyes White Dragon* with the skill.
Also it has to fight Sage for your normal summon which isn’t really a contest. Sage is better going first because you get to add Veiler and summon a Spirit Dragon.
No, the skill is perfect and completely fine. You need to remember and think about the future cards coming. If you haven't seen TCG or OCG then you're in for a shock.
