- I recently got an Ipad Pro and tried out several apps. Procreate is one of them and it's very well created, and an amazing tool for digital artists. Here's a Procreate Sketch Timelapse and a quick tutorial on how to sketch in Procreate using Procreate Pencil.

This was fun to follow along with, Great for getting my hand in as it's been a while since painting with oils and watercolours. I Just got an ipad a couple of weeks ago and purchased Procreate a couple of days ago. I find Procreate very intuitive. It's Great for practicing and easier with less fuss than getting the paints out when I just want to create something quickly. The Good thing is I can continue easily at another time or start a new project if I get uninterested in the one that I'm working on, win win.

You are obviously a master. I enjoy sketching portraits, I scale up the image in order to draw details, but the brush would be jagged and edges gets blur, any suggetsions? Thanks!

Matt Screen protector i bought But i found that it hardly works for 1 month ( i do lot of sketching ) ..glossy layer easily comes out ..what do you suggest?
I tried importing your brush set to procreate but procreate lagged like hell after that so after keeping some select of them I deleted them any suggestions on what other brushes you use.

i accidentally reset my procreate pencil 😭 can i see the setting of it? im super clueless on how to use the settings
Thanks for the video about sketching with procreate. Some people put there palm on the surface, some hold the pen like a brush. Thus this make a difference in the result? Or is this only how you used it? I am coming from drawing with pencil an paper and I draw with palm on the paper to have better control. And thanks that you mentioned that a screen protector is usefull. I am thinking about to buy an ipad pro for drawing.

Isn't the screen too small for the kind of work you do? Which i pad would you suggest for a person with my kind of skills 🤔
I think the main reason I went for the 11 inch Ipad pro is that I can take it anywhere for sketching. It takes less space, fits into my smaller bags, and is easier to carry. It's useful for painting studies, sketches and stuff. But for professional work, I am ofcourse still more comfortable with Photoshop. There's a 12.9 inch Ipad available too, but I do have cintiq 13 HD for the kind of work which requires a relatively bigger screen to draw on. Although even 13'' might not be big enough ;)
Hey, I am an awan too, I am good at drawing and also want to get in the concept art making gig. My only concern is about drawing alive characters, as you know the restriction is not clear in the religion. Is there a way I can stick to just enviornmental art? Please your guidance would be appreciated
