I haven’t heard anything against this
I read that chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays which it then converts to heat before releasing it inside the body and melasma in pregnancy is mostly triggered by heat coupled with sun exposure…hence the aversion to chemical sunscreens in pregnancy. That’s another reason why physical sunscreens are recommended in pregnancy.
