We have the Cervelo S5 Rim Brake Version Bike on the channel. Awesome Bike, hands down the Cervelo S5 is the quickest bike on the market. Abit stiff, but you get used to it.
there's a 20 watt difference riding next to eachother at the same speed? is the guy behind the camera a taller guy, and or using different pedals? and or using wider handlebars?
Hi lads , I'm confused, I've got the new Sram red groupset and put the centreline XR rotors om as they are more expensive than the Paceline-X and apparently lighter , why I'm confused is why are everyone putting the Paceline-X rotors onto the top tier groupset, wouldn't it be a downgrade . Or have i made a mistake putting the centreline XR on ..
The "dang" drinking game netted 5 shots. Also, you cannot be better youtubers; you'll hurt yourselves if you try. Looking forward to the aero bike science episode, but first a long term review of your drop bar MTB (or Dylan Johnson's).
Is there something that makes them rare? I have one on my Trek Emonda. I just asked my LBS if they were able to order me one and they did. Didn’t seem like there was any issue.
newsflash cyclingnews took all the latest greatest super bikes to the aero tunnel. spoiler cervelo s5 was NOT 20 watts faster than a SL8. fyi most of the bikes were within 3-5 watts of each other. without a rider the Factor Ostro was fastest. look forward to Trey's real world test of the Cervelo vs Trek vs Sworks.
No one rides bikes in wind tunnels. I’d argue that their data is just for fun. At The Bicycle Station we take it seriously. Our information is way more scientific than any other cycling media in the game right now.
@@bicyclestation concept of variability. when you do on the road testing the wind is NOT consistent for every test run. When you do you the on road tests you need to test each bike at least 3x time. alternate between the 3 bikes. the bikes should have same tires/pressure. FYI read the f*I** manual before installing cervelo bars. use a torque tool . LOL butcher mechanic.
The EDC reference got me. Want to reiterate that this could possibly be the best cycling related channel on YT. Never stop.
Never been a fan of the S5 stem design but apart from this the S5 is one hot babe🔥
Love S5 fastest bike on the market 🤟💪🫶
s5 looks so sick
That bike looks fast!

Torn between the Cervelo S5 and S-works SL8. Would love to see a comparison
are you sure the two power meters are calibrated the same?

Id love to see how the S5 stacks up to the Madone Gen 7!!!
Nice bikes bro
I need the Madone video NOW before I buy and regret it lmao.
I’d recommend test riding one to check if you have toe overlap or not. We’ll get into it more with the video
@@bicyclestation its basically not a trek without toe overlap
S5, nothing better.
Can you review the factor ostro vam 2.
I like bikes
Would it be possible to add some spacers to the cockpit for those of us not as flexible as you?
Yea there’s tons of spacers. Trey added two in this build
Aero bikes just look cooler!
I can attest to the S5 being silly fast. Mine with 1x SRAM red is so smooth and only weighs 6.5kg.
Hard to believe. Mine is 7.4 with same groupset.Reserve wheels.
@ that’s because I’m using much lighter components. 🥰. CRW 50/60 wheels , Galfer rotors, Hylix seatpost, titanium bolts , Conti TT tires and 1x gearing
Switch it to kg too if you are weighing it i never know how much it is 😢
You guys have to do an Aethos build too and compare to S5 and others

The new centerline xr are equlivlant to the pace line xrs in my eyes.
Try the new Canyon Aeroroad CFR !!

Getting a bike with one of those ultra rare sram dub ceramic bb’s is like pulling a first edition charizard. Sheeeeeesh 🥵

longer stem makes it handle different? Who's bottom bracket is that tight? You're supposed to use a torque wrench
Every single dub crank is like that. It takes 54 nm.
do a s5 vs madone gen 8 vs gen 7!!
You can get Reserve wheels from QBP?
You can but the margin is terrible.
Bike go neom
How tall are you? Since you run 120 stem
5 11
@@bicyclestationTell Trey 54t is not enough, I’m running the 56/43t Red on my Ostro for the downhill KOMs
nice
Build me a budget S5 please 😂 😂😂
Bruh s5 needs to be slammed no spacers allowed
Two riders and position…watts alone is not the tale of the tape. Side note please slam that stem🙏🏾😂😩🤣!

We believe our scientific method is superior to any wind tunnel. And our tourq wrench’s are recalibrated daily to the 0.00001% degree of accuracy.
