Regarding sunburn and sun exposure, I would recommend that you get good sized 100% cotton turkish towel. you can wear on you head and put a hat on top and drape over you like a cape. when it’s hot the air goes through it and your body gets the benefits of staying cool and ventilated but protected from the sun. I always try to find shade when by body tell me to but I’m sure it’s not to easy out at sea! the natural fabric of a traditional turkish towel is good for skin/sweat and easy to wash / dry by hand. Thanks for another great adventure, infections are no joke. I had one in my foot that lasted 6 months from a nail. Eventually I was hospitalized for 10 days IV’s the whole bit, and they still could not clear it. Finally I was referred to a bacterial specialist who thought it was a bacterial infection caused by bacteria that is found in our shoes that antibiotics don’t have an effect on. Turns out he nailed it after 10 days on his medication it cleared up. Take care and stay safe.

Be very careful with infections because they can cause problems that are not fun. I just a situation in May that was not good, and it happened almost over night. Otherwise thanks for your videos such a beautiful place you are in.
Battery status? If you have three identical lead batteries, I suggest a three select battery isolator switch. A heavy switch. Before I even figured appliance drain Vs charge, I'd jump on soldering the heavy wires and ends and isolate them except during the moment of cranking the motor. A heavy charge can also cover up battery voltage differences, but only during the charge. It's important to routinely return lead batteries to 100% charge to avoid sulphating or fragmenting the plates. I figure on a lot of sailboats, draw often exceeds solar recharge. If you ever use a car type charger with your Honda, disconnect your electronics from that battery being charged. Most car chargers have some pretty wicked voltage ripple and it can blow gear. Your soldered battery leads would take 60/40 rosin flux electrical solder at 440 degrees. Acid core 50/50 plumbers solder will fail in wiring.
Please share what your plan for this season is, or overall plan for the next years. Do you plan on circumnavigating, or are you content island hopping for the foreseeable future while your channel grows and hopefully get a bigger boat and some crew? Safe travels!
