quinoa: 1/4 cup
yellow moong dal: 1/4 cup
water: 2 cups
desi ghee: 1 tsp
cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
whole red chilies: 4
a sprig of curry leaves
turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Hing/kayam: 1/4 tsp
pink himalayan salt: 1 tsp or as needed.

1 chopped green chili
juice of half a lemon
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/8 tsp pink himalayan salt

Nice. Coincidentally I made sth very similar to this and had it today. But I used toor Dal instead and added veggies, tamarind and sambar powder to make like sambar quinoa porridge. Tastes yummy and healthy

Add
A bunch of cilantro, mint, curry leaves, piece of ginger, a pinch of tumeric, black pepper, pink salt, .Please drink two tablespoons daily. Good fr immunity since we go maskless, good for gut, blood pressure and sugar levels. Pl also blend some fav fruit you like with all this so it's not too tart. I add raspberries here. Pl don't use banana. Hope you like it I added a teaspoon of jeera too. It's good for the hair and skin. Enjoy lovely hearing you!!))
Easy and yummy. How about adding some black pepper and cutting back on red chili. You have often mentioned how well the turmeric and black pepper are synergistic. This will also make it more like the.savory pongal made in Tamil Nadu.
